Alleyn Pro is a re-working of the font Alleyn in response to a request to increase the character set and include Vietnamese. The fonts now cover most Latin languages, Greek and many Cyrillic languages – apparently around 275 in total. The letters have been redrawn and re-proportioned and the spacing recalculated to make for better reading at text sizes. Alleyn Pro has been developed to meet the needs of publishers, companies and individuals addressing a wide international market in a range of publishing media. The low contrast, slightly rounded sans-serif letterform with six weights and corresponding obliques provides a friendly and highly legible set of styles which are equally effective on signage, packaging, advertising and editorial. Opentype features include many numeral and positioning options, ligatures, stylistic alternatives and localised variants.

Bowdon is a warm, Bodoni-inspired English Modern, influenced by the 1930s lettering of designer Barnett Freedman. Slightly rounded corners give characters a printed-look softness, and hairlines are thickened a little to increase legibility at smaller sizes, reducing the harshness and dazzle that can afflict Didone typefaces. Bowdon is supplied in three widths – Regular, Wide and Narrow – and each width is accompanied by a utilitarian oblique rather than a fancy italic. IMPORTANT: This is the VARIABLE VERSION of PG GROTESQUE This is my interpretation of Edel Grotesk – a “lost typeface” from circa 1914 produced by Johannes Wagner GmbH of Ingolstadt, Germany. PG Grotesque is definitely not a revival, or even a faithful reproduction of that typeface as I was unable to source enough accurate references. What I have done is take the essence and unique characteristics of that typeface and brought this forgotten gem right into the 21st century. This variable version includes 99 instances spread across 9 weights and 6 widths with the ability fine tune the width, weight, and italic angle to your exact preference. Distinctive features include high-waisted capitals, a straight-legged capital ‘R’, and flattened arches in the ‘a’ and ‘g’ glyphs. Using PG Grotesque will give your typography a distinctly retro feel with its vintage heritage inherent in every character.
