Neue Schwabacher is a revival of a revival. Albert Anklam modified the medieval letter forms of Schwabacher according to the fashion of the fin-de-siècle era, and his font was first released by Genzsch & Heyse in 1876. This most widespread font face of the 19th century was fresh redrawn and made fit for nowadays’ usage. To get access to all ligatures, it is recommended to activate both Standard and Discretionary ligatures.

Note: This family only contains Capital letters Jadeite is a geometric monospaced display font. The typeface has a distinct style inspired by the Mid-Century Modern era and designed to be easy to read. The Jadeite name comes from a mineral form of jade and also represents a color of green, reminiscent and popular of the 1950’s era. “Victoria Underwood” was found within the pages of the 1923 American Type Founders specimen book. It was one of many printing fonts faithfully replicating those used on various makes and models of actual typewriters. The purpose of such type was to allow mass production of letters or notices that could appear personalized rather than shop printed. Antique Typewriter JNL is the digital version of this design, and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Cronos is the work of Robert Slimbach, a sans serif typeface family that embodies the warmth and readability of Oldstyle Roman typefaces. It derives much of its appearance from the calligraphically inspired type of the Italian Renaissance. Its almost handwritten appearance sets it apart from most other sans serif designs and makes it an effective choice for text composition. Manifold Extended CF is a wide variation of the classic Manifold font family. Its clean, elongated shapes are both technical and elegant. This rugged typeface is based on letterforms in the Cherokee Syllabary, reputedly devised by a gentleman named Sequoyah in the early nineteenth century. In addition, Native American petroglyphs—some authentic Cherokee designs, some from other tribes—are included in several positions. The name of the typeface, however, is authentic Cherokee, and can be loosely translated as “Yo! Wuzzup?” Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

The typeface of Quan Slim is based on the successful Quan font family by font foundry Typesketchbook. Font designer Chatnarong Jingsuphatada created Quan Slim as a condensed version to Quan. Felicity is a tightly cut heavyweight display serif. Tobias Sergel was the greatest Swedish sculptor and draughtsman of the 18th century. The typeface that carries his name has a sculptural quality, with the white line decorating the stems and curves of the letters. "However," says Bo Berndal, the designer of Sergel, "the general shape of the typeface is timeless". I've always admired the work of Rudolph Koch. Culpepper is what I think Neuland would have looked like if it had been developed with lowercase, small caps and a range of weights. I started work on this series in the late 80’s and, like so many of my ideas, it was shelved when life drew me in another direction. Culpepper is the name of one of the islands in the Galapagos chain.

Slice is an experimental, circular, display typeface designed by Superfried. Slice, like its big brother Slash, also features key incisions to form the glyphs. Unlike Slash, Slice is much simpler in design based on basic geometric forms and features both upper and lowercase. Slice has a very retro feel and its chunky structure leads to a distinct, high-impact display font. Slice has been featured on the Behance curated typographic gallery TypographyServed.com.

Morthern is inspired by the work of charming lettering artists with a combination of Old Style Display Bold. “The Auto Show” is the title of an early 1900s pieces of sheet music proving that America has had a fascination with cars since the earliest days of the automotive industry. The song sheet’s title was hand lettered in a casual Art Nouveau style which has been re-drawn digitally as Nouveau Auto JNL, and is available in both regular and oblique versions… and what’s better than a nouveau auto (a new car)?

Most of the lettering on a piece of sheet music for a song from the 1921 George M. Cohan musical comedy entitled “The O’Brien Girl” was hand lettered in a playful, casual Art Nouveau design with rounded ends. The characters on that page took on a look reminiscent of cartoon or comic strip wording, and the result is a digital typeface named Cartoon Nouveau JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Sigmund PRO is a visual journey around Poland. The main style is inspired by the Polish road signage typeface – designed by Marek Sigmund. With the increase of weight, Sigmund turns into a geometric display – in the spirit of vernacular typography from the signs of Polish streets. Thanks to this span of styles Sigmund will work both in visual identifications and posters. The family consists of 18 varieties and has many alternative characters.

Recht is a geometric sans with much attention to curvature compensations, classifying between classic geometric sans-serif typefaces and neo-grotesques. The family contains 10 weights with corresponding italics, Cyrillic script with inclusion of Ukrainian Cyrillic, and a bunch of OpenType features. Recht has a closed aperture and is extremely versatile, working exceptionally well in both headlines and long text paragraphs. You can use stylistic sets for added geometric or humanist flavour.

Ambulatoria is a sturdy open aperture sans-serif that comes in four variations. The search for neutrality and universality is part of history in type design; it was specially important in the so-called Swiss Style. Samplex is a typeface that joins this particular search.
