Criss Cross is a scratchy, scribbly, rough-n-tough kinda font. The idea comes from the many notes I wrote in my horrible handwriting. When I want to stress things, it sort of looks like Criss Cross. So... Now you can write notes and stress things too! And guess what? It comes with a bunch of alternates, so enjoy!

Alf Becker was a talented sign writer and a prolific contributor of unique alphabets to Signs of the Times magazine. More than one hundred of his designs were showcased in monthly installments with each new issue of the publication. One in particular is a casual, free form sans serif design which has been recreated digitally as Casual Signage JNL, and is available in both regular and oblique versions. According to the dictionary, the way a letter is formed or shaped within a writing system is an allograph... and Allograph JNL from Jeff Levine takes on unusual shapes. Using characters from Jeff's Printing Set JNL font, they were printed out white-on-black, and the paper was torn into abstract pieces and then scanned in order to create this edgy looking font.

Caravela is a decorative formal typeface. It was designed, drawn and realized by Mans Greback in 2020. Inspired by 17th century typographic works, this work lifts some of the absolute best elements from the golden age of calligraphic lettering, bringing it to life in a new, modern setting. Conspired Lovers is based on five years of love-letter writing. A font to capture the intentions of love letters more than any other font. How did the Project start? In the last five years I wrote love letters with two persons. I became used to the joy of handwriting with ink and nib on fine paper. Through practice a experimentation my style continuously refined. As life moves on, suddenly I found myself with no one to write love letters to. It's a luxury to have someone to write letters to. Missing the joy of writing and listening to Gregory Porter’s “Be Good”, the decision was made to take this 5 years of writing and make this dance on paper a font. “One Hundred Alphabets for the Show Card Writer” was published in 1919 to afford sign artists the ability to create signs and show cards in then-contemporary lettering styles. One such alphabet was big, bold and representative of the Art Nouveau stylings popular in the early part of the 20th Century. Most likely it was applied to store sales and public events that were casual and informal, for its letter forms are free of any constraints. This design is now available as Fun Time Nouveau JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

Cinta Adhesiva began as a typeface designed for the masthead of a graffiti fanzine called Free Copy. The monumental letters painted by L.A.-based graffiti writers Crae and Hael greatly influenced the feel of the typeface. The availability and ease-of-use of tape as a medium to write with is apparent on a multitude of surfaces, and this approach led to the creation of Cinta Adhesiva.

The characters in this font fit together in hundreds of combinations to form different city skylines.

Aw, aren't they sweet? This lettering is based on a 1950s note a husband wrote to his wife shortly after they were married. His beautifully controlled and strong handwriting knows no lowercase characters; he gets his point across in uppercase only. In today's world of email and internet writings, we know that uppercase means shouting and is considered quite rude, but he didn't know that when he wrote this letter to his lovely wife! The typeface Cat Finger is designed from 2021 for the font foundry Typo Graphic Design by Manuel Viergutz × Carmen Thiemer. The display font based on the human hand. Started analog with acrylic paint, a finger and a white paper. After scanning, a digital brush was created. With the help of a touch tablet, this brush was used as a writing tool. One font-stlye written with the left hand (left) and one with the right hand (right).

A hundred-year-old offering from Bauer & Company, named simply "Manuscript," provided the inspiration for this elegant script face. The name translates as Bavaria Handwriting.

While writing his Middle Earth books, JRR Tolkein invented an entire alphabet for the elves called Tengwar. His attention to detail was incredible, Tengwar is a fully functioning writing system. This is the famous Elvish writing seen all through Lord of The Rings and the Hobbit. Tengwar is an alphabet, not a language, and can be used to write many languages. Tolkein gave detailed notes on how to write English in the Tengwar alphabet. This font uses advanced font features (contextual alternates, ligatures and kerning) to automatically convert any English text, as you type, into an accurate representation in the elvish Tengwar alphabet.

This font is based on the handwriting of author Franz Kafka and captures his expressive handwriting style, using the manuscript of The Trial and his diaries as the primary reference. Glotona's Black & White are four modernist typographies written by hand and combinable with each other by layers to create multi-colored typographic headlines. Glotona is my tribute to Bodoni fonts, revolutionary fonts when they appeared in the S XVIII and still in force today. The great contrast between antlers, give foot to the design maintaining the elegance of the modernist typefaces, the manual writing and the roundness of the serif and antlers bring freshness and empathy, the careful configuration of the kerning and the proportions give maximum readability to these fonts.

This font was inspired by the well-known philosopher René Descartes' hand writing. In 1634, from Amsterdam, he wrote a famous letter to his friend Mersenne, a great scientist monk, in which he spoke about Gallileus works. The greatest part of our glyphs is based on this document. We have added some letters Descartes himself didn't use, like modern s and j (he used exclusively s long and i instead of j). A lot of ligatures and alternates are enriching the font, giving a better appearance of real handwriting.
