Originally ZionTrain was built as a Cyrillic typeface for public transport navigation system. We wanted comprehensible, distinctive letterforms, that can help everybody on the way from Babylon to Zion. Here, on MyFonts, we present the ZionTrain STD versions with western latin including smallcaps and oldstyle figures in some faces in TrueType format; also western, central, baltic and turkish latin charsets, smallcaps, oldstyle numerals, few alternates, some arrows and fractions in ZionTrain OT OpenType format.

This font is a very new typeface from 2022. It is based on biro pen writings. The name Hanka is the nick of the designer’s daughter. The family has seven weights (straight and oblique), which are OpenType sets with PostScript curves. Features include ligatures (classical and discretionary), number formats (tabular/proportional, lining/old style), fractions, old-style formats, stylistic alternates, and kerning. May you be happy with this set when creating advertisements or artistic content.

The “Moorish arch” treatment of certain letters on a 2001 book on Dutch design, executed by René Knip, provided the inspiration for this exotic unicase typeface. The font also includes arabesque designs in the brace, florin and section mark positions. This cuddly face is based very loosely on Dave Farey's Beesknees. The raw emotional energy of German Expressionism is evident in this font, based on Judith Type, designed by C. H. Kleukens in 1923. This version takes its name from the Biblical character who lost his head to the original font’s namesake. An uncredited typeface discovered within the pages of Alphabete: Ein Schriftatlas von A bis Z named "Fat Cat" provided the pattern for this exercise in minimalist type design. Best used sparingly for inescapable, if somewhat cryptic, headlines. This stunning display face is based on Hans Bohn’s 1929 opus for Gebr. Klingspor, originally named Orplid. One of the treasures discovered in the legendary green vinyl binder that launched Nick’s love of type, it’s a real crowd pleaser. A font with a strong architectural feel, inspired by those great commercial emporiums of a bygone era. To cap the crossbars, use [brackets] to enclose uppercase letters, {braces} to enclose lowercase letters, and the upright bar | between upper- and lowercase letters. Here’s a typeface with a stance as big as Texas. It’s based on Vincent Pacella’s 1960s oeuvre for Photo-Lettering, Inc. called Pacella Vega Extended 10, and named for a county in Central Texas, home of Possum Kingdom Lake. This elegant semicursive face is based on the works of J. M. Bergling from his 1914 classic Art Alphabets and Lettering. Suitable for announcements, awards and invitations, or for distinctive and unusual drop caps. Here’s a techno typeface with a difference. Another in the Whiz-Bang Woodtype series, based on authentic xylographic designs from the late nineteenth century. Named after (surprise!) a small town in Texas. This elegant unicase uncial face is based on a work by German type designer Ernst Engel from 1927.This typeface masterfully combines Art Deco sensibilities with medieval letterforms, and is suitable for both text and headline use. The orthography was invented in 1952 by a Sufi Sheikh, named Hussein Sheikh Ahmed Kaddare. A phonetically robust writing system, the technical commissions that appraised the Kaddare alphabet concurred that it was the most accurate indigenous script and orthography for transcribing the Somali language. Kaddare uses both upper and lower case letters, with the lower case represented in cursive.

A 1930s luggage tag from an eponymous hotel provided the inspiration for this face. The uppercase letters lean to the left and the lowercase letters lean to the right, so aLtErNaTiNg the two will give your headlines a little bounce. Here's an offering from the Blackfriars Type Foundry of London that's perfect for commanding headlines. The letterforms have been carefully kerned for a tight fit to increase the visual color of this nostalgic behemoth. The pattern for this classic typeface was originally called "Viking Oldstyle", from the 1909 H.C. Hansen Type Foundry catalog. To enhance its weathered look, the inside corners have been rounded to simulate ink buildup on metal typeforms. This typeface appeared in the William H. Page Woodtype specimen book as Gothic Tuscan Condensed Reversed—quite a mouthful. This engaging headline face is based on a rather pudgy typeface named “Bullion Shadow”, which was originally released somewhere on the cusp between the hippie and disco eras, and was equally at home in both. Samosata NF is based on Lucian Bernhard’s eponymous Gothic, but it employs all of the alternate characters seldom seen today. The result is an elegant, classical typeface with subtle Art Deco shadings. Available in two weights, all versions of this font include the Unicode 1250 Central European character set in addition to the standard Unicode 1252 Latin set.

One in the series of fonts called Whiz-Bang Wood Type, intended to be set large and tight. Gullywasher is distinguished by its unusual letterforms and “pineapple” serifs. Flicka is a super funky font that oozes of fun and games. Every single letter has got it's personality of its own! A single line of type, identified as "Ornamented No. 5" and spelling out "ROPE ONIONS", from the 1888 MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan specimen book provided the pattern for this whimsical face. In his book Victorian Display Alphabets, Dan X. Solo called this specimen "Marquette". This unicase version features a complete character set, and is named after a favorite watering hole in Texas on the Guadeloupe River. Unicorn is a super-condensed Display font with a subtle dramatic flair that works especially well in titles, headers and editorial design. It was firstly inspired by a lowercase set seen on a furniture ad in Domus (the architecture magazine) #192, from 1943. For maximum drama, use with a bright & smart colour palette. A collision between fine, fat caps developed by legendary letterer Alf Becker, and a squirrely, curly, uncredited lowercase uncovered by artist Leslie Cabarga produced this merry romp through the alphabet. This casual, carefree face is based on a showcard alphabet presented by Cecil Wade in his Manual of Lettering.
