This family started as a graduation project back in 2009, coming from calligraphic studies and sketches with a broad nib pen, based on humanist proportions and inclination. From its ink and paper origins it has come a long way until the current form, being digitalized and made into fonts through the course of the last 8 years.

Ramston is a humanist sans serif typeface of 20 fonts in total — a normal and a condensed width in 5 weights with matching italics. The condensed version is designed for space-saving typography but with high legibility in mind. Ramston is an ideal font family for display, print, corporate identity, mobile devices, magazine cover, signage, and web design creation.

Old Style is an example of classic roman type design. It has little contrast in stroke weight, small rounded serifs, open characters, and is very easy to read. It is based on wood type of unknown origin.

Missale Lunea is a calligraphic uncial typeface with a female note. The font offers lots of stylistic alternates, signs, zodiacs & symbols. OpenType features: stylistic alternates signs, zodiac & symbols, proportional, medieval numerals, Roman numerals numerators, denominators and fractions

Sursum, inspired by the Roman monumental letterform, was designed to provide the possibility to play with the 58 OpenType ligatures and the 25 alternates letters. The Sursum family includes 3 weights, all with the same OpenType features.

Artica is an elegant sans serif typeface, offered in five weights. It was inspired by classic Roman letterforms. Artica Pro supports Latin, Cyrillic and modern Greek scripts, and includes swash initial & final forms, stylistic alternates and ligatures.

A pen stroke Roman with a medium thick to thin contrast and slightly flared stroke endings. Capital was designed for all media and works best at 30 point and above. Capital requires subjective display kerning and compensation.

Cormac is a humanist typeface characterized with it's large x-height and slightly flared stems. The word that best describes our ideas in the beginning of the project is "simple" - the idea behind it was to strip the letter forms of everything unnecessary, and yet keep the typeface interesting. The typeface is friendly without being too cheezy thanks to its humanistic character, flared ascenders and stems reminding of its calligraphic origin. The proportions are closer to the traditional old style typefaces. Cormac is open and readable typeface coming in 7 weights plus their matching 'true' italics - from Extra Thin to Bold. The family comes with Cyrillic support, great range of numerals, fractions, ligatures, alternates and a lot of special characters making Cormac a great solution for greate range of design work - branding, editorial, web, wayfinding, etc.

Nora Grotesque is a modern sans serif type family of five weights plus true matching obliques, all completely equipped with opentype features, fractions, lining numbers, old style figures, capsular numbers, superscript and inferiors. It has been designed parallel within the neogrotesque universe of typefaces and is inspired by humanist proportions and humanist-grotesk features in multiple languages, support Central and Eastern European as well as Western European languages. Working on Nora Grotesque type family, we've aimed to create a modern geometric grotesk with the widest implementation range, a reliable workhorse. Nora Grotesque is equipped for complex, professional typography with a high x-height for maximum legibility and a powerful personality then other alternates. We've been especially careful working on the uniq geometry of each glyph, both from the point of view of visual correctness and forms continuity.

The Seol Sans design offers a fresh palette for designers working with the Korean alphabet, particularly those looking to pair Latin and Korean alphabet (or Hangul) forms without creating typographic friction. The choices for Hangul fonts that work well with humanist Latin typefaces are limited. As Monotype’s first original Korean design, the Seol Sans typeface is a humanist take on the traditional rigid and hard designs of Hangul characters. The Seol Sans design more closely resembles the natural curve of hand-written characters. Designed by Alfonso García and Latinotype Team. Rawson is inspired by early humanist sans-serif English typefaces. We have added a bit of Johnston, a bit of Gill and a lot of Latinotype to the font. Rawson is an elegant font—but definitely not a black tie one—with the strength of a geometric sans but as friendly as a humanist typeface. This mixture, though not capricious, gives the font a ‘classic’ personality and a modern look at the same time. Rawson is a typeface with a large x-height, open counterforms and classical ductus. Brother XL & XS is an expansion of Brother 1816, one of the best sellers of 2016: myfonts.com/fonts/tipotype/brother-1816 We decided to add new widths to the type system, designing a condensed version (XS) that is perfect for narrow spaces without loosing legibility, and an expanded version (XL) with a lot of character for display uses but without abandoning funcionality. Both typefaces where created to adapt in diverse design languages being able to be “retro” or “modern” making it very flexible and working well in texts or titles, in print or screens. Yseult is a ultra-romantic, elegant handwritten font, reminiscent of pre-Raphaelite beauties and classical paintings. It refers to the opera Tristan und Isolde (also spelt as Yseul, Isolda etc.) in three acts by Richard Wagner. The opera was based largely on the romance by Gottfried von Strassburg. Its design was influenced by Genevieve and, less directly, by Silver Dagger. Suggestions for use: - wedding stationery - greeting cards - valentines day media - beauty product media - lingerie tags - women's magazine pages - classical music media - theatre posters The font is fully professional: carefully letterspaced and kerned. It contains over 235 characters - (upper and lower case characters, punctuation, numerals, symbols and accented characters are present). Stu is based on the penmanship of the late Raoul "Stu" Stuart. Raoul's penmanship was always admired by those who saw it; it was a first glimpse into the artistic and creative side of an otherwise easy-going, funny guy. The print variants exude a soft yet masculine feel, while the scripts evoke a sense of sentimentality and romance. Stu features dingbats which say something about Raoul: affectionate and romantic (heart), a big coffee drinker (coffee cup), a great cook (spoon and fork), a music lover (musical note), and a prankster (winking smiley). (The winking smiley is available in all the font styles, while each of the other four dingbats is unique to one font style.) Stu is a tribute to the coolest dad in the world.

Letraset’s talented type designer Vince Whitlock was inspired by the elegant Caslon series when he created Academy Engraved. The exquisite letterforms of this traditional Roman typestyle make it ideal wherever an elegant and classical titling face is desired.

Organic versus geometric are two different universes that converges on nature systems and has its reflection on this new sans serif typeface. Frambuesa is a half humanist-half geometric sans that merges decorative curves with straight lines looking for a balance. The result: a solid but somewhat romantic, nostalgic type program that go ahead harmoniously, dancing to the rhythm of a naturally imperfect melody. Frambuesa can’t hide its family genetics. Structure and proportions come from Elisetta, her older sister they so both have a really good text performance. Regular variables and italics feel comfortable in a lot of contexts and are useful for little words or big title compositions. All seven weights are carefully adjusted to achieve soft transitions between one and the other resulting in high readability levels on program combinations and complex uses. This new font family name is a tribute to Lucia’s childhood, a very happy one. Frambuesa honors this sweet intense red fruit that her grandpa’s Coco gave to his grandchildren every Sunday in the summer.

Roman Sehrer, a seasoned German advertising professional, digitized his handwriting to create this family of three fonts. Sehrer recommends this family for posters, logos, and restaurant menus. It works well with traditional sans serifs such as Helvetica or Univers.

A vintage brass stencil for an individual or company named ‘Rodrigues’ was spotted in an online auction. The hand punched, condensed Roman lettering inspired the digital typeface Nameplate Stencil JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Linotype Monticello was designed by C.H. Griffith in 1946. Its design is based on James Ronaldsons Roman No.1 and Oxford Typefaces from American Type Founders and was revised by Matthew Carter while he was working at Linotype between 1965 -1981.
