A faithful reproduction of the common French Ronde of the nineteenth century; the design originates at the Inland Typefoundry in St. Louis as French Script and was revised by Morris Fuller Benton in 1905 and made popular by ATF under the name Typo Upright. Stephenson Blake also had a version available as Parisian Ronde.

On the cover of the 1932 sheet music for "Without Your Love", the credits for the stage play "The Dubarry" are listed under the name of the star and the play's title. These hand lettered credits served as the work model for Stage Direction JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

A revival of sorts, Freaky Frog BF is modeled after an 1887 design from Central Type Foundry, called Grimaldi. Much warmth and charm have been instilled into the original design through among other means, reworked contours and serifs. Contours are smoothened, liberated from its roughness, while serifs have become somewhat concave. Verticals and horizontals appear to "swell" owed in part to flared shapes. The overall effect, I believe, is one of pure typographic endearment.

Based upon CA BND (the clean version) CA BND Trash is a rough and dirty version of our favorite DIN-like font. We recommend it for use in zombie movies title design, headlines for ads of a soft-drink manufacturer (who hopes to be cooler, if he uses rough typefaces), or for emocore, hardcore, softcore or "whatever-core" bands. Uhhh, its the time for the living dead.

At first glance, Pistol Shot looks like it was originally drawn as a large, geometric slab serif font - a slab serif font that underwent an unfortunate accident, and had many of its extremities shot off! However, there is more to Pistol Shot's appearance than looking as if it had survived a showdown. Pistol Shot also looks vaguely like a pixel font viewed through a blurry filter. It also looks like it could have been cross-stitched into a craft project. Whatever its appearance, Pistol Shot Light and Pistol Shot Normal are perfect headline fonts for a wide variety of display applications. Goddard is based on some very unsual lettering by Art Nouveau period calligrapher Samuel Welo. It offers a full normal character set, plus mutliple alternate versions of every lower case character and selected upper case characters as well, plus very fancy over-and-under kerning to produce a really unique look, like nothing we've ever done before.

This stylish stout script was originally issued in the 1930s under the name “Fulgor” by the spanish foundry Fundición Gans. Cursory research suggests that Saks-Fifth Avenue found it suitably snooty to use extensively in its newspaper ads of that period. Perhaps somewhat ironically, this version takes its name from one of comedian W. C. Fields' many odd aliases.

Figural is the work of Michael Gills, developed under the direction of Colin Brignall. It is based on an original 1940 design of Czechoslovakian designer Oldrich Menhart. All original characteristics were carefully retained in this distinguished typeface family. Figural is highly legible, making it perfect for both short pieces in advertising text or larger applications in magazines or books.

The French interest in the revival of suitably edited Oldstyle romans as an alternative to a world of Modern typefaces started in 1846 when Louis Perrin cut the Lyons capitals. About 1860, as Phemister was cutting the Miller & Richard Old Style in Edinburgh, Theophile Beaudoire turned the idea of the Lyons capitals into a complete Oldstyle typeface, with similar overwhelming success; it was generally known as Elzevir in France and Roemisch, Romanisch, Romaans or Romana in Germany, Holland and Switzerland. In 1892, Gustav Schroeder, at the Central Division of ATF, expanded the series, adding a boldface under the name De Vinne. It was promptly copied, initially in Europe by Ludwig & Mayer, and spread rapidly throughout the US and Europe, becoming the best known member of the series. ATF made popular an ornamental form under the name De Vinne Ornamental.

Lysergic is a smoky, swirly, super-psychedelic font that exudes 1960s vibes. ITC Coventry is the work of American designer Brian Sooy. ITC Coventry is what type would look like if you left a gothic font out in the rain. IF you look close, you'll see the roots of a handsome sans serif font buried under a layer of grime and rust, basically." The low-budget student flyers that Sooy saw in the Coventry section of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, inspired him to design this font and the result is a typeface which looks as though it has been faxed or photocopied many times. "While it looks very irregular in text, it's very carefully spaced to give that effect," says Sooy. ITC Coventry was designed to work just as well in text as in headlines or even on billboards."

Coral had its origins in the font Leah. I had requests from users that I create a cursive version of Leah. (In a cursive font the letters are joined together as in handwriting). In the process of development it changed sufficiently that I decided to release it under its own name. Hence "Coral". Coral is relaxed but very readable. It is, perhaps, a tad more formal and regular than Leah but not sufficiently so as to detract from its relaxed quality. The font is fully professional: carefully letterspaced and kerned. It contains over 235 characters - (upper and lower case characters, punctuation, numerals, symbols and accented characters are present). Linotype Charon is the work of Renate Weise. Linotype Charon is a typeface with two sides to it: both objective and classic, it is neither neutral, nor an everyday typeface. Charon is modern and animated; its curving letters seek to touch the reader.
