The Ayes have it! The 1909 specimen catalog from the H. C. Hansen Type Foundry of Boston contained a lovely decorative face named Congress, which is the pattern for this font. The Adagio Family is a part of Mateusz Machalski's, Warsaw Academy of fine arts Master Degree Diploma in multimedia studio, conducted by Professor Stanisław Wieczorek and his brave PHD Jakub Wróblewski. Adagio is a modern type family. It consists of 3 main varieties: sans, serif and slab. Each one of them has it's own “true italic” set. All of the styles together have over 400 characters in 9 different thicknesses. The Adagio family was created mostly for company identities. The idea was to create a wide range of different varieties which are stylistically consistent. Adagio Sans - In its character, inspired by classical English typefaces. Sharp chamfers add a strong character. Thanks to delicate contrast and proportions of capitals, this variety has features of humanist grotesque. Thanks to large x length, and highly stretched descenders, it also works correct in longer text, while it’s strong detail is good for headlines. ITC New Winchester is a revival of a typeface that never really had a first release. The original Winchester was an experimental design created by the American type designer W.A. Dwiggins in 1944. Dwiggins was interested in improving the legibility of the English language by reducing the number of ascenders and descenders; to do this, he gave Winchester very short descenders and created uncial forms for a number of letters. The result was a distinctive text typeface that was occasionally used by Dwiggins and Dorothy Abbe in handset form. Fifty years later, Indiana type designer Jim Spiece has turned Dwiggins's experiment into a new family of digital text types. Spiece gave New Winchester a bold weight, as well as small caps (both roman and italic) and old style figures; he also created two forms of the lowercase f, one with and one without an overhang (in metal type, a kern), and a full set of f-ligatures.

Worthington Arcade is a classically-proportioned capitals-only type incorporating a selection of ligatures and alternates. It loosely resembles the hand-painted architectural lettering of the 30s to the 50s, exemplified by the likes of Percy Smith’s interior signage for the BBC or George Mansell’s lettering for the University of London and the signs found on London’s bridges. However, rather than a slavish copy of any historical model, it is more an examination and evocation of certain idiosyncratic quirks of civic lettering of the period, and an attempt to create a peculiarly English titling typeface. The round letters, for example the O, Q and C, are wider than the perfect circle usually found in such designs, while the straight-sided characters, usually drawn on a square, are narrower. This lends the whole a subtle elegance that is also emphasized by the raised crossbars on the H, E and F and extended lower leg of the E. Includes old-style numerals.

Opentype features Script font has 151 stylistic alternates and 3 variations of end-swashes with about 10 lengths of each style. Stylistic Alternates. The easiest way to get alternate character is to add number for example 2, 3 or 4 after any Uppercase. Each of them has from two up to five alternates. This combination works with activated Standard Ligatures option in Opentype panel (Photoshop / Illustrator). End-swashes. AS Palmer Script has 3 variants of end-swashes and about 10 lengths of each style. It works like Stylistic Alternates with activated Standard Ligatures in Opentype panel. Just add special combination at the end of the word, to get needed swash element and its length. Underscore, double underscore or slash is swash style. Number is length. For example: _3, __5, /6. Just try, it's easy. AS Palmer Sans - different Double letters. This feature work automatically with activated Contextual Alternates in Opentype panel. Note, that this features are not available in Miscrosof Word. Palmer is very good looking in logo, labels, t-shirt prints, product packaging, invitations, advertising and others.
