Lubalin Graph, a reworking of the genre, came out in the wake of the Avant Garde wave of the early 70s. In recent years, ‘slabs’ have made a comeback in the graphic design world. AW Conqueror Slab advances the cause quite happily. Homage to 70s phototype typography in 3 styles The AW Conqueror typeface family is a nod to the spirit of phototype typefaces and transfer lettering from the early 70’s. Founded by Ed Rondthaler, Photo-lettering catalogs swarmed with more daring typefaces than the others. Both transfer letter and phototitling have liberated the principle of letter-to-letter spacing, previously impossible with metal type. Phototype allowed operators to position millimeters, on the fly, letter after letter: words, sentences according to the specifications of the art director. Introducing Maas, a new font collection designed by the passionate designer Mike Zuidgeest in Rotterdam. Each letter of the font was created in Illustrator and handcrafted to perfection. The font is named after the river de Maas, and it's perfect for advertising and branding. As the designer, I'm thrilled with the result and can't wait for you to try it out!

Stencil Set JNL takes the 2011 release of Stencil Mark JNL (a spur-serif letter based on a vintage set of brass stencils) and transitions it to the design of a clean, bold sans typeface.

My teacher used to say my writing looked like ‘hanenpoten’ (“rooster legs”). It is a Dutch expression for a scrawly script. When this script emerged, it had ‘scrawl’ written all over it! Scrawlerz is a messy script font with a lot of joie de vivre. Enjoy!

Belinda New is an updated version of the original Belinda which I designed in 2011. Belinda New is a smooth and lining brush script font with a vintage and retro feel. It has two sets of uppercase and many alternates for lowercase letters. It is a good choice to use in logos, headlines and packages. You can also match it with a serif or sans serif fonts and use it as a secondary font in web design, magazines and branding.

Gik is sans serif font family with modular aesthetic and the elegance of contemporary typography. Its compositional and plastic solution combines echoes of (de)constructivism, brutalism, de Stijl and other manifestations of 20th century antiquity + techniques characteristic of italics. But this does not make the font old-fashioned — on the contrary, it helps to understand how to use it. Gik is a product of the metamodernism era — it is on the border between modernist enthusiasm and postmodernist mockery, between simplicity and awareness, wholeness and cleavage, clarity and ambiguity — a kind of conceptual oxymoron. Looking at Gik, you could imagine it at Fashion Week, if there was one for typography. Gik has a message for both the designer and the viewer, it stimulates the imagination, it is the anthology of all fonts of the future.
