Linotype Pisa is part of the Take Type Library, selected from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. It was designed by Swedish artist Lutz Baar and is a modern text font based on the humanistic Old Face style. The dynamic lines and harmonious proportions make Linotype Pisa a pleasant and legible font. Distinguishing characteristics are the elongated cross strokes of the capital A, B, E, F and P and the slanted cross stroke of the lower case e, typical of Venecian Old Face characters of the 15th century. Huxley Cyrillic is based on our Huxley Amore Bold, retaining all the Western and Central European characters of the latter, while adding upper and lower case Cyrillic characters. Huxley Cyrillic, like Huxley Amore, is visually simple and direct and yet sophisticated and unexpected. Those are the qualities that give it such freshness in so many applications. This font is intended for display use. It is highly condensed and is therefore difficult to read below 18 points. It works well at 36 points, but really works best at 48 points and larger. Huxley Cyrillic has 499 glyphs. I think we should have made at least one more!

Rosabella is a script typeface with plenty of decorative details — flourishes, swashes, twists and other elements, which impart to the face a gorgeous festive look. An unusually large number of alternates and ligatures make it possible to imitate live calligraphic writing. Lower case letters are divided into several stylistic sets from relatively modest variants to the most decorative contextually-dependent swash shapes. Besides that there are two sets of upper case letters — the second one contains larger and more complex shapes. Letters from the different stylistic sets can be used in a wide variety of combinations with the different levels of embellishments. Rosabella was designated for display material, greetings and advertising.

I wouldn't recommend that you use this font for massive text, or text written in CAPS ... but then again, go ahead and try - I even kerned all the capital letters ... just in case that you would do something so crazy! :) Dynamique is a kind of a "straight out of the highway" grid-font. But then again, not ... if you use the lowercase alone, you have this almost monospaced font - try starting every word with a capital letter, and let it end with the alternate ligature, your words suddenly got even more power! If you want to go lightspeed - then use the same technique, but only with the italic version!

Camelot was the first of over 100 typefaces designed by Frederic Goudy. The upper case characters were drawn in 1896 for the Dickinson Type Foundry. Goudy was so encouraged by his check for $10 (double what he asked for the drawings), that he spent the next 50 years designing type. The lower case was added by the Dickinson foundry. This Lanston digital release includes a Text version based on the smaller point sizes of the metal type and a Display version based on the larger sizes. The two appear different in size but share the exact same line weight when at the same point size.

Nantua Flava XL is a display font by heart. It's preferably seen on posters or flyers. It's inspired by the Op Art style of lettering in the USA from the 1960s and 70s. But it holds also very futuristic elements so it work very well on futuristic techno party flyers and posters. Nantua Flava XLi speeds up your design. It's powerful as a Ferrari engine, strong as a steam locomotive. The very close innerforms and low contract make it perfectly suited for background patterns as well as big headline texts. SK Shpala is a modern geometric display typeface inspired by the aesthetics of railways. The typeface is built on a system that includes a combination of wide lines and thin gaps, which creates a unique character pattern. The name of the typeface refers to the railway tie for a reason, as the text typed in this typeface really resembles the railway tracks from above. The typeface is multilingual and supports many languages of both Latin and Cyrillic. Despite the strong decorative component, the SK Shpala typeface is a powerful tool for working with typography and design. The typeface is also perfect for poster design and large headlines.

Young Baroque was designed by Doyald Young, and the font first appeared in the ITC library in 1984. It is a delicate and elegant typeface, whose basic forms are those of baroque script. The generous spirals adorning the capital letters give the font its temperament and contrast beautifully with the small, heavily slanted lower case letters. The flowing, graceful characters create an overall image of aristocratic elegance and dignity. This font can be used advantageously for labels, invitations and certificates and its capitals as initials to contrast harmoniously with both serif and sans serif fonts. Railhead is a revival of an 1870s type style that was originally available from both the Bruce foundry in New York and James Conner's Sons type foundry. The Redux version is the original design but only the uppercase and punctuation were ever created the rest of this font design including numbers, accented characters and lowercase are of my own design. Looking at the original font the inside rails reminded me of a railroad so I created a new version by adding horizontal lines in the lower portion of each letter which resemble railroad ties and Railhead seemed to be the most logical name for this old revival.
