TextTile is a system of heavy sans titling faces which can be utilized to carry a repeating chromatic pattern across words and letters. It stands apart from other chromatic faces, where layered effects typically interact only within each letter and do not carry through from one letter to another. The pattern repetition across letters of varying widths is achieved through OpenType substitution, using conditional alternates for each successive letter to allow for a seamless appearance across words, regardless of letter combinations. Though the pattern exists on a strict grid and the letters' widths and spacing must be highly regular in order to preserve the pattern repeat, the letterforms themselves are not rigid; rather, they appear organic, lively. The initial release includes patterns inspired by a classic buffalo plaid, separated into its horizontal and vertical components to maximize the creative possibilities for layering one-, two-, three-, and even four-color plaid patterns. Kits are available to produce the plaid pattern in detail—with overlapping diagonal hatching fully visible—or as a simplified version in which transparency can be used to simulate plaid or to create a checkered or striped effect. This typeface appears to be straight out of a science fiction movie thriller. Mingo is a slightly condensed, somewhat vain gothic with thick vertical strokes proudly tapering downward. Capitals which are normally completely round are now square inside with curving outside corners. Lowercase letters carry the same design traits. And, in the capital A and H, crossbars extend on both sides helping give the face a pronounced retro look. Mingo Gothic is a close cousin to Raleigh Gothic and is an excellent choice for book covers and large display settings. Beauchef is a sans serif typeface originally created to meet the needs of Centro de Modelamiento Matemático de la Universidad de Chile (University of Chile Center for Mathematical Modeling). Beauchef is a typeface with rough strokes that features subtle optical compensation and does not strictly follow the laws of perception. This typeface might not be too cheerful, but shows a very particular idiosyncrasy of form. Beauchef is as tough as advanced mathematics; however, it is as legible and exact as numbers themselves. This is an avant-garde typeface that resembles the development of mathematics, but at the same time it is as conservative, calm and respectful as clients who require its services. Beauchef is so astonishing as mathematical formulas that mathematicians work with, but at the same time it is as humble as resulting figures.

In today's typographic landscape, few would still consider Bodoni to have a "modern" feel, but there was once a time when it's vertical axis and thinned horizontal strokes were considered radical. Volterra—inspired by the forms of Bodoni—finishes what Bodoni started and eliminates the horizontal stroke altogether, breathing an elegant new energy into a 200-year-old classic. Named for the artist hired to paint loincloths over Michelangelo's "Last Judgement" when nudity in religious art was condemned, Volterra acknowledges that it is no easy feat picking up where a master left off.
