Edits and Credits JNL is a cheerful sans serif typeface modeled from ceramic letters in a movie titling set from the late 40s or early 1950s. In the original kit, letters would be lined up accordingly against a contrasting background and photographed for home or professional movie and slide titles. Note: The cap height is slightly smaller than normal for the respective point size. This will give the effect of wider line spacing - similar to that of home movie titles.

Twentieth Century Poster, designed by Sol Hess for Lanston Monotype in the 1940s, provided the inspiration for this family of faces. Although, historically, the design falls outside the time period normally considered the Art Deco era, its sensibilities are pure Art Moderne. Cast Shadow JNL uses the same wood type as found in Trade Printer JNL and adds to it a cast shadow in right or left versions for a bold and unique look. Rotulo Variable is a contrasted sans family which combines the Thick & Thin signpainter's style and some 70s feeling in a huge font family with three axis: Width, Weight and Slant. A visit to an exhibition of Spanish movie posters by Jano was the beginning of Rótulo (Spanish for Sign) project. Classic thick & thin signpainter style was featured in many letterings of those posters, as it was a very common style in 60s and 70s Spanish design. Unfortunately, today very few Contrasted Sans are seen, something that was quite common years ago has fallen into disuse in favor of Helvetic monotony. Rótulo recapture all that personality, with an extense range of weights and widths to be used in striking headlines and short texts.

psKampen is a contemporary font with a medieval experience. It has no real serifs, but is good to use as a book character. Several characters have a swash variant in addition to the normal versions.

Mediator is a balanced contemporary sans serif typeface that performs well both in display sizes and body text. The family contains 30 fonts in 3 widths: 8 romans with matching italics, of slightly extended proportions, from Thin to Black; 7 narrow and 7 condensed, from Thin to ExtraBold. The character set in normal upright faces was expanded to include small caps and all faces include old style figures. The typeface was designed by Manvel Shmavonyan with the participation of Alexander Lubovenko and released by ParaType in 2016.

A rough hand-drawn plain sans serif that would be good for non-formal use. Do not expect a polished set of fonts from a professional, this family is hand drawn, hand spaced and hand kerned.

Facit is a contemporary sans serif text face. It is designed to be a highly legible and flexible font that does not draw the attention to itself. Instead of being original by itself it is the result of a careful examination of ancient as well as modern formal concepts. “It is by definition impossible to design an un-conventional typeface. Type is pure convention, this is why we can read each other’s written words”, says its designer Tim Ahrens. However, rather than generating an average, existing principles were consciously combined into a unique design solution: The word ‘Facit’, in its German version, means ‘conclusion’. The fonts are provided in OpenType format. Each font contains 720 glyphs. Technically, they follow the Adobe Pro fonts and provide the same glyph set and OpenType functionality. OpenType features include ligatures, true small capitals, superiors, inferiors, numerators and denominators. Every font contains old style and lining figures, both in a proportional and a tabular design. For some letters there alternate characters.

Write is a handwriting font, more like neat print than a flowing cursive script, which renders it highly readable and almost like a formal font, but still retaining the informality of handwriting. Also there are some "special effects" varieties.

The movie trailer for the1936 film "After the Thin Man" is filled with text lettered in this classic Art Deco condensed typeface. Sleuth JNL seems the appropriate name for this digital revival, as the romantic comedy centers around detective Nick Charles' and his wife Nora's adventures.
