Aschere is not just yet another retro font. It was designed carefully to give harmony ambient when you use it in your project. You can play with plenty ligature option. Or use unique stylistic to make your project stand out. Nevertheless you can find some prebuilt ornament, it would help to create instant logo or quotes. Be it as body text, or header/title, Aschere is the right choice.

Petite Fleur is a combination of engraved, flowery embellishments and the Capitals of my redesigned Royal Romain (Romain du Roi), the exclusive font of King Louis XIV. It is best used as initials only, but can be mixed with Royal Romain. On the keys for ≥ and ≤ I designed two filler embellishments and the ciphers 0-9 are embellished as well. Enjoy! Fitzronald is a body text typeface with a strong personality combined with a good legibility in small sizes. It is an excellent book typeface, but it can be used in e.g. advertising and packaging as well. Due to its good legibility at low resolution, it is a superb website and e-book typeface. Fitzronald is based on Ronaldson, an American typeface originally cut by MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan in 1884.

Unicore is a large family of geometric sans serif fonts. Design wise, it is inspired by classic 20th-century typefaces like Futura, Gill Sans, and Avenir. It fuses their aura with contemporary elements, like a unique harmonisation of width and height. You can see this in the lowercase letters especially and it helps support the fonts’ legibility. The regular weights in the family are optimised for body text.

In his book of 100 Wood Type Alphabets, Rob Roy Kelly called this face "Teutonic". This version adds lowercase letters, missing in the original, plus a few woodcut dingbats in the brackets, bar, section and florin positions. Named for a charming town in the Texas Hill Country, founded by German settlers in the mid-1850s. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

Skulebuk is a decorative typeface ideally created for use on edgy/street/urban or sports related design projects. Reminiscent of the early 90s scribblings in the back of my old school books (we all remember right!) instead of doing real work! The two weights available Regular and Heavy will help balance designs that want to over use the typeface i.e Heading and body text. 80s-90s is very now!

There is no such thing as a talking cat, however, you can often find these in adventures, movies and other stories. At least, now you can have your own font called "Talking Cat", and perhaps even your cat will like it! Mine did! Hiya, kids! Hiya, hiya, hiya! was the customary greeting of Froggy (a rather cheap rubber toy), who played second banana to otherwise-perennial sidekick Andy Devine on the 1950s TV show, Andy's Gang. The Magic Twanger was the thing which, when plunked, brought on the cartoons and other kid-friendly fare. The Opentype version of this font supports Unicode 1250 (Central European) languages, as well as Unicode 1252 (Latin) languages.

Excellent futuristic font with pretty rounded angles will fit any title or heading. It supports more than 20 European languages. This font is unique for it's elegant and thin letters. Font's idea came to the designer in the late autumn when tender yellow leaves fell to his hands. The combination of straight lines and bows had sparked a thought about the font, that could be used as awesome decoration.

The sheet music cover of Lew Brown and Albert Von Tilzer's 1917 wartime song "Au Revoir, But Not Goodbye (Soldier Boy)" had its title hand-lettered in a condensed sans serif design with the influence of Art Nouveau styling. This has now been re-drawn digitally as See You Later JNL.

Sybilla is a robust, but friendly, humanist slab serif well suitable for broad range of design projects. A true workhorse and superb text type family, Sybilla was especially designed with legibility in mind. Its soft almost cursive shapes and generous internal spaces define a slab serif that is easier on the reader’s eye and help establish a feeling of warmth and friendliness. The type family consists of eight weights with complimentary italics. While the Light, Book, Regular and Medium weights are great performers for body text, the Thin, Bold and Heavy weights make an excellent choice for headlines. Majora is a slab serif typeface which derives its name from a Portuguese historical toy manufacturer. The font comes in 8 styles, ranging from a delicate Thin to a robust Black, with matching italics and an upright version of stencil fonts, resulting in a total of 24 weights. Majora is well-suited to a wide range of design projects which include packaging, editorial design, screen use, etc. Its humanistic features and moderate contrast between thick and thin strokes make it also suitable for long block of texts while having a high degree of legibility. The font includes a set of alternate glyphs which help give your compositions a different and unique look. The Stencil version was specially designed for use in signage, packaging, titles and headings. Majora contains a set of 520 characters that support over 200 Latin-based languages.

ITC Flora is the work of Dutch designer Gerard Unger, and is named for his daughter. He started by doing calligraphy experiments with felt-tip and ballpoint pens, and developed these drawings into a formalized script typeface. Swiss typographer Max Caflisch advised the Dr.-Ing Rudolf Hell GmbH technology firm to add a new round-nibbed script face to their Digiset type library, and in 1984, Flora was released by Hell. Unger used a chancery cursive skeleton in this design, which imparts grace and movement. Flora was also intentionally designed to be simple and sturdy, and with its minimal variation in thick/thin stroke ratio, it worked well on the early digital typesetting machines. In 1989, the International Typeface Corporation released the font. ITC Flora continues to work well on current printers and typesetters, and it has an enduring popularity for uses that range from short text passages to display headlines.

Introducing Minimalist VONESA – a new nostalgic serif revival that will blow your mind. I've started looking at classic serifs with a narrow 80's & 90's range, and wanted to make the perfect one for you too! VONESA Minimalist is a beautiful nostalgic upper and lower case typography that looks amazing in upper and lower case settings as Display, Logo and body text. One thing to note about VONESA Minimalist is that the letter spacing is intentionally set for clean readability if you want to use it for body types, so I recommend setting the spacing a bit tighter for display use (around -20 to -40 should be!). Simpliciter Sans is a typeface based on the lettering used in the 20th century on technical drawings, either written by free hand or using templates. The lettering was made with a round pen, therefore all lines got rounded ends. All lines had the same thickness in uppercase, lowercase and small caps. The upright style was used on construction drawings and the italic style on machine drawings. The backslant style was used on maps for names of water bodies — seas, lakes, rivers etc. — and for water depth. Simpliciter Sans is primarily intended for texts on drawings, diagrams, charts and maps, but it can also be used for signs and labels. It also works surprisingly well as a body type in smaller sizes.

Stripated is an informal funky font mainly for distinctive headlines and posters, or similar display work. There's still all the features you'd expect like Class Kerning and accented characters, ligatures for ffi, ffl and so on, and a few other extras. The four versions are set up as follows: Plain has all the letters and black stripes in the normal vertical alignment; Jumbled One has the lower case letters all jiggled about but the boxes still square and vertical; Jumbled Two has ALL letters, numbers, and virtually all punctuation jumbled up; and Wild has all that and the black boxes going slightly off square as well. There's 3 different Space characters and a few other character variations in Stylistic Alternates (fuller details in the zip).

HU mobydick is a body font with square modules and a wide space composition. Sharp right-angled joints and strong endings. And thin strokes are combined to complete a harmonious typeface for body text. The gray level of the body text is set low, so it can be used for light work.

Inspired by Art Deco packaging, Rosa fits comfortably into that classic genre. It’s namesake in the collection of La Sociéte Parisienne de Savons is described thusly: In mythological legend, Chloris, the goddess of Spring flowers transformed the body of a nymph into the first Rose. The ten font Turbinado™ Set was designed to be clear and easy to read with a friendly personality, ideal for advertising and packaging in both text and display settings. Included are three weights of brushed casual script, each with a dry version, two condensed all caps faces, another hand printed caps face and an Elements package with 100 brushed elements that include swashes, botanicals, shells, arrows, repeatable patterns and a few other doodads that play well with the fonts. Like our most recent release Fave, all of the fonts use the OpenType standard ligature feature to automatically differentiate consecutive lowercase letters and numbers, using separate glyphs rather than a single ligature so they can be set on a curve or colored separately, etc. They also automatically differentiate like characters that are separated by another letter when standard ligatures is enabled. The script fonts have alternate characters like swash glyphs for ends of words and a few ligatures too; single crossbar to unite the At and Att letter combinations etc. The two condensed faces also have a third set of less uniform glyphs that can be used to create a more quirky, fun and bouncy effect (see the ‘she sells seashells’ graphic above) when the discretionary ligature feature is on. The script fonts have 10+ lowercase t (and double t) crossbar alternates that can be selected from the OpenType glyph table manually, or you can enable the contextual alternates feature to automatically insert a bigger crossbar as the surrounding letters allow throughout a text box or document. Hello? Are you still there? :) And for those intrepid typographers who would rather fashion their own lowercase t to custom fit a specific design, all of the lowercase t ascenders and crossbars are also available separately in the glyph table, and can be combined manually.

hadowfield is a fantasy font which was inspired by the hand lettering on the Spiderwick movie posters (which itself was apparently based on Hand Skript One). Every glyph was drawn by hand, using a gel pen on 160 grams paper. Shadowfield will look good on anything fairy-like - book covers, toy packaging and even bottles of home-made mead! Comes with swashed alternates for all capital letters and some lower case ones as well.

Spirodelic is a funky pop-art font with a sassy vintage vibe. This all-capitals design incorporates coiled spirals into the letters, and will add a lot of swirly psychedelic fun to your designs. It's great for retro seventies looks of course, but really also works well on anything modern that needs a loose and lighthearted touch, like kids books, toy packaging, flavored drinks, clothing lines, surf gear, logos... you name it.

The Woodgrit family could originally be found on broadsides (posters, playbills) throughout the midwest on any public announcements. All original letterforms available were incorporated into the set with little modification. Typographic convention was limited to creating three weight to serve the needs of the design community. Inspired by designs of the early Renaissance, Jenriv brings out a sedate atmosphere and generous inner spaces. Jenriv embraces text flows, multiple languages, and various styles with standard OpenType features. It is well adapted to various applications, from medium body text to large headlines, or logotypes.

Res Publica is a workhorse. It is quite anonymous as typeface, without any distinctive marks. But it gives a harmonious text body, well suited for large amounts of text, such as official public reports, magazines based mainly on text, school books, and so on. The public" concept is part of the name. Res Publica is Latin for "public matters". The word republic has the same origin. Res Publica was released in 1992.

In Dutch, a Mandarijn is a Tangerine. I found out that it is called a Mandarin in Australia as well! I really like Mandarins, so I thought I’d give them their well-deserved place in the spotlights by naming a font after them. The whispers part - well, that’s just because it sounded good. Mandarin Whispers is a very nice brush font, which was actually not made with a brush, but with a cheapie marker pen. It comes with all the bells & whistles, so have a ball!

M Kai is a design inspired by the popular Kaiti developed in contemporary China. MKai adopts many features of Kaishu, one of the many Chinese writing scripts and calligraphic style. Yet writing style and constructions have been well-unified to meet quality as typeface. Its strokes has relatively heavier stroke beginning and finishing, as well as thinner middle part. It is catered for fine print with little conglutination. Its medium weight makes it more visible at distance and pretty versatile in use. Zhonggong are tightly built with ample character spacing for good individual character recognition. It is best suited for formal body text, set upright (non-slanted), non-condensed.

This font is versatile and expressive, it can create appealing atmosphere and attract attention, conveying a gamut of message and emotions. It is well suited in the jobbing areas like packaging, logotypes, magazines, web pages and advertising, etc. Berta has all the advantages of OpenType features that allow a variety of combinations: You may choose to set types in connected or unconnected ways, being used as body text or headlines for its good legibility, visual impact and accurate kerning. It has swashes, standard and discretional ligatures, contextual alternates, word ending and tails. As a spinoff to his Tagesstempel™ design, Georg John created Johnstemp™ in 2008. The Johnstemp family has four weights, as well as a special Mix" variant. Each of the basic fonts (Light, Medium, Bold, and Heavy) contain many alternate glyphs, allowing users to set text that realistically simulates stamped impressions.
