The premise was simple, but further experimentation was required for other parts of the alphabet. The names I choose for my typefaces have to look decent when set in the signature type. Initially inspired by an untitled typeface from an old hand-lettering book, Berber has been extensively developed over two incarnations to function as a very strong and confident sans.
