Plain and simple, here's a faithful reproduction of the Advocate font for IBM Selectric typewriters from the 1960s. Both versions support the Latin 1252, Central European 1250, Turkish 1254 and Baltic 1257 codepages.

Eco is a personal development of the lettering used in a 1970s logo of a little known company named Ageco. The only letters faithful to the logo's ones are E, C and O.

Friendly is an homage to Morris Fuller Benton's adorable Announcement typeface. It is not a strict interpretation, digital revival or reverent reproduction of the original letterforms… but I would be remiss and shady to not acknowledge the letterforms that inspired this typeface. If you are looking for a more accurate 'scanned revival' I would recommend searching "Announcement" on MyFonts. As stated earlier, it is an homage to the original letterforms of the typeface but takes a great bit of freedom tightening the construction up in order to loosen up the movement of the variant letterforms to allow a great deal of usable personality. I enjoy stating this dichotomy… "loosen up to tighten up the forms" and vice versa. It seems counterintuitive or silly but by allowing the letterforms to normalize, I felt more comfortable going back and adding rather indulgent personality. Infused with stylistic alternates, swashes, titling, many many contextual alternates, 9 stylistic sets and 2 stylistic sets with wordmarks, the typeface became far more 'friendly' for me… how could it not? With so many loops, swashes and typographic indulgences, it was bound to be fun. The more elaborate and 'overdone' Friendly got, the more I wanted to slant it. Here's where my thinking differs from MFB's original. I like slanted romans… especially ones with long ascenders, but I do not like much of a slant. It has to be the lettering person in me. It's hard for me to do a completely upright serif and not pair it with an angle, but I did not feel Announcement's 'Italic' offered much and the actual slant needed to be far less. If it's not an italic, I prefer the letters to slant with an angle equivalent to the thickness of the vertical stroke. The Slanted version of Friendly is set at 3.6 degrees, is quite subtle, and very fitting for me. You will find that most characters have a contextual, stylistic, swash and titling alternate assigned to them and some have an echoed alternate to the swash and titling options if the stylistic alt has been selected in tandem. Additionally, all of these are accessible in the glyph palette directly from the base glyph typed or through selecting options through the Stylistic Sets 1–9. Stylistic Sets 10 & 11 are a little different. They are actually configured as complex majuscule ligatures… a result of me getting carried away. Other features like a default old style numeral set and coordinating glyphs have been produced along with case support, ordinals, and more have been added to make it more relevant for contemporary use.

Roughwork was developed in response to repeated requests for a set of initials which looked like sketches of a font in development. So we took our True Golden font and reverse-engineered the lines and arcs needed to define the character shapes and the result has the look of original typeface drawings.

A set of signs designed by Andrey Belonogov. It includes representation of gestures used by left- and right-handed people in different countries to enhance the power of speaking. The typeface (under the name Handmade) was awarded a diploma at the ATypI International Type Design Contest “Bukva:raz!”, 2001. Released by ParaType in 2008.

Screenplay JNL was modeled from the signage seen in an old photo of the RKO movie studios building circa the 1930s. This multi-line lettering is so classic of the Art Deco period. For best effect and readability, use wider spacing between letters. For single words or initials, regular spacing should do fine.

Handlettering on a piece of sheet music from 1903 was the inspiration for this little whimsical wonder. The font features a very sinuous S and teddy-bear bookends in the {brace} positions. This font contains the complete Latin language character set (Unicode 1252) plus support for Central European (Unicode 1250) languages as well.

Gotico™, meaning Gothic, is a Blackletter script (sometimes referred to as Old English). The original Gotico design was first brought to market by the Fundicion Tipografica Richard Gans type foundry (1888-1975) in Spain. The designer of Gotico is unknown and for many years the font was formerly sold only in Europe.

Nevison Casual was designed by T. Nevison in 1967 and is an informal, lively, modern handwriting. While the capitals are generous and wide, the lower case letters have reserved, narrower forms, an eye-catching contrast that gives the typeface its zest and energy. The unconventional Nevison Casual combines well with sans serif typefaces.

Even the original founder, Barnhart Bros. & Spindler, thought this was a freaky font, and indeed they called it "Freak" when they introduced it in 1889. It was reintroduced in 1925 under the somewhat more elegant name of "Bamboo," and is one of the prizes that the collectors of antique metal types seek.

Pacifista takes advantage of the well-tested structure of our constructed typefaces, the directness and simplicity of which are by far the best suited to stencils. Transcribed from letters designed by Jan van Krimpen for The Curwen Press at Plaistow, London, in 1925; printed on pages 49, 51 & 53 of A Specimen Book of Types and Ornaments in Use at The Curwen Press (1928). A setting at 120 pt is recommended to match the size of the original.

The July 26, 1934 of the movie industry trade paper The Film Daily contained an ad for Paramount promoting its most recent releases. Hand lettered in an ultra bold Art Deco sans serif style, it was the working model for Self Promotion JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

urgle Jock is actually two fonts in one: The Regular version is a classic handmade sans and the Outline version is…well, an outlined version of the Regular - however, I made it a bit off-grid and hasty scribbled looking. The two versions works well as they are and even greater together!

Cordel is the first digital typeface created by the founder of Tipos do aCASO in 1998. Its design refers to the unique woodcuts features used to illustrate the covers of old cordeis, pamphlets of Brazilian northeastern popular poetry. This unicase font presents irregular widths and spacing, a caricature of those woodcut graphics.

Zemke Hand was based on the handwriting of its creator, Deborah Zemke, who also designed the symbol font ITC Situations. Cheerful and carefree, the characters have the consciously sketchy look of printed handwriting. Olivera Stojadinovic made her first sketches of the ITC Resavska family with the goal of creating a typeface that would be readable at small sizes. Stojadinovic added geometric serifs to the original design to create four weights in serif and sans serif sub-families. Each weight (except the black) has an italic counterpart.

A roman face designed in the early 1980s by Ed Benguiat for ITC, ITC Benguiat shows a strong Art Nouveau influence. As with ITC Korinna, the stress of the ITC Benguiat font family occurs in the upper half of each capital. This distinctive typeface is particularly useful for display and advertising work.
