Cypher is a techno looking font that attempts to employ the Gestalt principal of closure. It may, at larger sizes look like some sort of code or a bunch of dots and dashes, but when viewed at smaller sizes it falls together into legible words. This font family was first inspired by an experiment to try to make a legible upper and lower alphabet with the smallest grid possible that would still describe the letterforms. The original conclusion was that it could be done in a 3x6 grid. This made a fun design exercise, but it makes a lousy font. The grid was expanded a bit for aesthetic reasons to a 3x8 grid, But not restricted so severely and so occasionally goes wider than 3 for the certain letterforms. From this a whole family of widths and weights was born, and rather than simply obliquing for italics, a true italic of sorts was created. Cypher is a versatile family of 24 fonts – 4 widths, each with 3 weights and their accompanying italics.

CINQUE is a new Slab Serif Display Font inspired by Avant-Garde, Art Deco & the aesthetics of ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’. It gives a new meaning to slab serif with a fresh and authentic touch. Dixplay, a typeface based on a pixel grid, is available in two weights: regular and black. Inspired by video game aesthetics of the 80s, was originally intended for display applications, but it works fine on paper as well. The font has been conceived in 20 px size allowing more freedom to manipulate it and making a big difference with other fonts of its kind, this difference it’s more evident in Dixplay Black. As a result, it’s optimized for screen use at 20 px and its multiples. Spacing is one of the most outstanding aspects of Dixplay. While pixel fonts doesn't have kerning pairs, Dixplay offers more than 300 manually done that fit perfectly to the grid. Amber is a minimal font which is built on a grid of 3x3 squares. It was an experiment to see if I could build legible glyphs out of such a small grid. The 3 weights can be layered over each other to create interesting designs.

Scaffo is a progression of the Scaffoldini family. These fonts are done in perspective and provided in version with the grid effect and without. Be careful using these fonts – the scaffold effect uses many line segments. Creating outlines using this font is not recommended as it may crash your system.

Sébastien Truchet designed a modular typographic system during his last year in the School of Fine Arts of Besançon. The system is made of a unique grid and 6 modules which are the components to build several typefaces. The most radical is the "2-2". The last one is the "10-12". This is the 4-4. It is built into a square grid. Four modules in width and in height. This font proposes to you two appearances : the caps are blackest and the small letters are more open.

SK Eliz is an eight-bit old-school geometric font based on pixels. Despite the old school, the font looks modern and simple. The font is built on a clear geometric grid, verified to the last pixel. It is ideal for design works in the old style, illustrations and for game design. This font also contains a set of pixel icons for more convenient operation. There are also paired styles of numbers. The font comes in one weight but it has 850 glyphs which supports classical Latin, Cyrillic and most European languages.

A geometric typeface that follows the grid but understands the rule to go off-grid. Circumactio, the Latin for Spin, is a thin Typeface based on a grid. The circle in the grid replaces the Crossbar, and gives the Typeface a little differential.

Disco Salvation and Disco Salvation Solid are two display faces inspired by the fun and funky disco era and disco balls. The Regular version uses the grid pattern to achieve the disco ball effect; the white space of the grid is transparent and will allow any image beneath the type to appear through the grid holes.

Is it a grid font? Hell no! Even though being kinda square, the Floink font got a funky will of its own. Good for massive text or just a funky looking headline. Comes with alternate letters for both upper- and lowercase letters! You will need to use OpenType supporting applications to use the autoligatures

Draughtwork is a special decorative font designed to have the look of a work in progress, showing the process of constructing letters using a ruler and a compass on a grid. It's in the tradition of our very popular Roughwork font, but more detailed and with additional features. Unlike Roughwork, Draughtwork includes a full upper and lower case character set plus some special alternate character variants. Developing Draughtwork was a monstrous task. The complexity of the 9x9 grids with each character were a challenge to the rendering capacity of Fontographer and required an extraordinary amount of fine tuning - but the result was worth the effort.

The Data Error Horiz AOE Pro family is a spinoff of my Data Error AOE Pro family. Quite simply, it takes on a slightly different feel than the original pin matrix grid by stroking across all horizontal glyph lines. The horizontal lines add more readability to the original grid and lend a more sci-fi vibe to the family. Anvylon is a monospaced typeface for use in programming and tabular material with a remarkable retro look-and-feel of the early video terminals and line printers that makes activities such as 8-bit coding and console work much more appealing and comfortable. Designed for optimal grid fitting at small sizes, its main features are forced to a very restricted set of integer positions and dimensions, absolutely unhinted, and mostly free of overshoots.

A two version type family, Intimo One is a serif dot matrix typeface, letterforms made up of grid-based dots. Intimo Two is also made up of dots, but in this case the lines are curved, giving a softer, more organic feel.
