I want to create a font, which is very elegant. So I made Danizatti Script, a kind of classic decorative script with a modern twist. This is a display font intended for vintage logos, fashion labels, custom card headers, badges, food packaging designs, especially wine labels. Actually a lot of great style was consumed when creating this type :) there are 300 fancy letter and punctuation glyphs. I also offer a number of viable stylistic alternatives for multiple letters. Duktus is a script typeface with a 1940’s flavour. It is a delicate script with letters not quite connected, having large, flourished capitals and small lowercase with long ascenders and descenders. It has a crisp, precise appearance, but is not rigidly formal. The design was inspired by the typeface Donatello by Wagner & Schmidt in 1935 and published by Società Nebiolo, Torino. Brittes is a fontface inspired in a formally English round hand, also called anglaise or Copperplate script. The calligraphy was the dominant style among 18th-century writing masters, whose copybooks were splendidly printed from models engraved on copper. In thinking about a way to express the character of this script, it occurred to me that the splitting of the main downstrokes in the caps is almost like when knife cuts into butter. Picture a butter knife that slices into butter, slowly wedging the cut wider so that when it is pulled back, the remaining shape would resemble the main downstroke of any capital letter. The lowercase characters have an almost roundhand-like character but with a slightly more formal presence. Available in Postscript, Truetype and Opentype for both Mac and Windows, Beurre is ideal for Menu's, Invitations and pretty much anywhere you need a reasonably strong, but friendly legible script. We count three inspirations for the László font family. The upper case was inspired by Yomar Augusto’s amazing font Unity, used on last year’s German World Cup Team jerseys; the lower case from a few letters a poster for a Bauhaus show. The name László is an homage to László Moholy-Nagy, peerless Bauhaus designer and teacher. The László type family is stripped down to the typographic core, lean, clean and definitely machined, at home in either a formal or casual setting, i.e. you can take László anywhere.
