Marazion takes its name from a Cornish seaside resort in the UK's West Country. It was inspired by some hand lettering I came across at a local inn on the seafront where I was enjoying a lunchtime pint (always a good place to seek inspiration in my experience!) Being based on a hand drawn script Marazion is a smooth, fluid and rounded font that is both fresh and distinctive. Personally, I think it is well suited to applications in food and fashion, but in practice its uses are more or less universal.

HWT Bernice is an ornament font system designed by Marian Bantjes. The basic shapes were designed by Bantjes for the Hamilton Wood Type Museum's border stamping machine as a contemporary application for this 150 year old machine, which punches shapes into end grain wood to form continuous border patterns. The digital version expands a bit beyond the punch machine and allows designers to assemble a multitude of options using flipped and rotated variations of these 6 basic shape sets using simple keystrokes.

Hello, friends! I have a good news! At last I have finished working on my Antique Initials color font. Wow! It was a long and hard work because every initial is unique. I sketched each letter of the font very scrupulously from scratch. Each letter is uniquely designed and has a unique flower pattern in the background. I used a pale old color palette to color these letters. There came out two font variants: a black and white and a nice colored one. Minora is a contemporary sans serif type family of three weights. Glyphs with open, plain and reduced forms are attributes of Minora. Several OpenType features allow different figure sets, fractions and more. Minora had its beginning in 2007 during Alex Meier’s Typedesign study (CAS Typedesign) at the ZHdK in Zurich (Switzerland). Cord (Zsinór in Hungarian) was originally a commissioned work for a tablecloth pattern with a thread like frame decoration that is actually consist of letters.
