Throughout the history of typography there have been countless attempts to simplify the alphabet. I have always liked Weeping Willows, they sort of remind me of China. Finura was inspired by American lettering from the 60s, specially the Stunt Roman for ruling pen and compass presented in the Speedball Textbook for Pen & Brush Lettering by Ross F.
