This font set was developed for the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and is inspired by their collection of Pop Art. Artists such as Warhol, Lichtenstein, and Rauchenberg sought to blur the lines between high and low art as well as the boundaries between art and everyday life. Designed specifically for AT&T by Matthew Carter at Mergenthaler to replace Bell Gothic with a typeface that made effective use of digital typesetting technology, Bell Centennial gets several more lines per page than Bell Gothic, reduces calls to information because of its significantly higher legibility under adverse printing conditions, saving AT&T many millions of dollars per year. Although intended for use at small sizes, Mazda UK used Bell Centennial at huge sizes to striking effect in a mid-1990s ad campaign.

vakaDi is stylish futuristic tech font designed for such areas as hi-tech, future, sport, space, army, games and many others. In the process of creating the font, we faced the choice of which letters are better - this or that... Each of them was beautiful in its own way and so we decided to include them all!:) Some you will find in upper case, others in lower case. Multilingual support (Latin extended). It is designed for header and text both.

Youngblood is a non-connected formal script with tall, sweeping ascenders and two alternates. These alternate forms can be mixed and matched for a custom look, and Youngblood is stronger in weight and is better suited for display work than most script fonts. Although Youngblood looks back to traditional copperplate scripts for inspiration, there is a new and exciting spirit to the design. Youngblood includes OpenType ending swashes, ornaments, ligatures, discretionary ligatures for most common ascender pairs and old style figures.

As usual, I stumbled upon a great 1971 Italian movie poster when looking for something else. The poster for “La Morte Cammina Con I Tacchi Alti” (directed by Luciano Ercoli), was made by an unknown artist and comes with a great font. Cortese was based on this movie poster font, but as I started working on the glyphs, I figured they would even look better in ligatures. So here it is: Cortese font - complete with 135 ligatures, accents and even Greek and Cyrillic!

An informal decorative sans serif was designed by Gennady Fridman and released by ParaType in 2004. Based on informal lettering. In Russian 'Zubilo' means 'Cold cutter' or 'Chisel'. Colorful letterforms seems to be cut by an amateurish but strong hand used to operate with rough metal tools, not with pen or pencil. The face is good for use in advertisements, posters and headlines, especally for comic editions and youth press. Decorative styles were added in 2011 by the same author.

Designed by Les Usherwood. Digitally engineered by Steve Jackaman. Originally designed by Frederick Goudy for the original Life magazine, circa 1908. Because of delays in production, the face was never used by the magazine. However, Gimbel Brothers, the famous New York department store, opened in 1910, around the time of the release of the typeface, which was used almost exclusively for its advertising and was often known as Goudy Gimbel, but the typeface was better known by the Monotype series number Goudy 38.

I am not really sure if goldfish in general are lucky. They tend to swim in circles in a bowl, but maybe, years from now, scientists discover that these goldfish count themselves lucky to be in a bowl, rather than in a stream in Asia. Personally, I think they’d be better off in a stream. Lucky Goldfish font is a cute and happy font, ideally suited for book covers, posters and toy packaging. Comes with a school of diacritics too.
