"TheMix" is a semi-serif typeface with low-contrast – i.e., the differences between thin and thick strokes are not very pronounced. Yet the reference to writing with the broad-nibbed pen is still present, giving the letters a diagonal stress and a forward flow that facilitates reading.

Sewing Patterns 3 is the latest installment in the Sewing Patterns font series and this time it's all menswear. This dingbat was inspired by men's fashions from the 1920s to the 1960s. Like it's predecessors, the numbers take a quick dive into children's styles from those eras.

Directors Cut Pro is a compelling new font series designed by Alex Kaczun. It recently won the second place—a commendation in the Canberra Typeface Competition. This handsome Geometric Antique serif design is based on the early 19-century Moderns and Scotch styles, infused with the warm charm of traditional antique, added for interest. Capturing the best of both ages: it's warm, comforting and persuasive. Directors Cut Pro's graceful aspects naturally invite uses at large sizes, for which we have created a stunning and elegant lighter weight. But, this workhorse typeface series incorporates a solid regular weight, along with its italic—ideal for a multitude of text purposes, at varying point sizes. A robust Bold weight is available for headlines and emphasis. Director Cut Pro comes with proportional as well as tabular lining figures for quickly setting up charts and tables. There is an intentional slyness infused in the letterforms—the extreme thick and thin lines flow effortlessly without becoming gratuitous. It’s always just enough, not too much. What makes the type series so appealing? The curves. When asked to describe the letterforms, most people unwittingly allude to the human form, using adjectives usually reserved for describing physical traits… creating all-too-familiar comparisons. Summerour has grown to accept this as unavoidable and reasonable given his acknowledgement of its influences and has provided nuances within the letterforms to accentuate that. Intended to be set large, the typeface has both Standard (Lust, Lust Didone and a single unified Italic) and Display variants making it perfect for editorial use and a flexible solution for any display need.

Edgar No. 9 is an original design by Alex Kaczun. Edgar No. 9 is a derivative work based on his Big Boy typeface series. It was designed specifically for display headlines, logotype, branding and similar applications. Primarily a display, this extremely versatile font has generous proportions, large counters and loose fitting which also allow the font to work well across a wide range of text sizes. Edgar No. 9 is a heavy baroque slab serif and although it shares the underling skeleton of 'Big Boy', it is a much more compact in overall proportions and spacing. A handsome bold headline font that works well in text as well as display sizes—ideally suited for publications and advertising. Alex plans to expand the font series to include a large range of weights along with corresponding italics numbering 1 thru 9, as well as, true small capitals and old style figures. Meet Voga. Voga is a condensed modern Didone typeface with three weights: Regular, medium and bold. My aim was to create a very elegant and “sexy” typeface with some unique letterforms based on the principle of contrast - curves vs. strong straight lines - thin hairlines vs. thick stems - ball terminals vs. geometric serifs. These contrasts make it a glamourous display font for titles and large typography settings, yet readable at text sizes. Voga was inspired by iconic typefaces such as Bodoni and Didot. It has an extensive glyph set that supports languages for the Americas and most of Europe.

ITC Leawood was begun by designer Les Usherwood and finished by his talented staff at Typsettra in Toronto, Canada, after his untimely death. A similar calligraphic series to ITC Usherwood, following alternative options, the typeface features small, well-defined serifs which aid legibility and allow for close spacing.

A totally off-the-wall sans serif font based on the titling from one of ABC's Movie of the Week series from 1969 called Daughter of the Mind. Turn on Contextual Alternates to automatically alternate between Capitals and Lowercase as you type to really make the font dance!

Alardo is intended for branding that is synonymous with sports. The initial character was built in bold with a bold personality, but thin strokes and flowing italics provide a flexible and unique family series. Glyphs are made in low contrast strokes, short ascenders and descenders, and low caps.

The Phaistos series contains 47 unique characters based on the cryptichieroglyphic symbols depicted on the infamous Phaistos Disk. Measuring approximately 16cm in diameter, the Phaistos Disk was excavated in 1908 at the Minoan palace at Hagia Triada in Crete. The glyphs have not been conclusively deciphered to this day.

Potpourri was based on an energetic alphabet written by expert calligrapher Gottfried Pott. To create the elegant yet rugged strokes, Pott cut a pen with a unique fringed tip — from a drinking straw! He then produced an huge series of drafts before deciding on the final alphabet for digitization.

The Raleigh typestyle is based on Carl Dair's original 1967, Cartier typeface. which was designed for the Canadian Centennial and the 1967 Montreal World's Fair. It was renamed Raleigh after Dair's death. Adrian Williams added three weights for a display series, and Robert Norton designed the text version.

A vintage metal stencil from a saw mill with the term "reusable skid" was the model for Saw Mill Stencil JNL. Although the original was what would be termed a semi-stencil (some letters did not have 'breaks' in them), the font was designed with a more traditional look.

In 2009, a book from 1897 in the library of the University of Wisconsin caught David Berlow’s attention. It was set in a clear text face—a predecessor of Bookman—cast by the Western Type Foundry who called it Custer. Upon noting how well the typeface worked in sizes of 6 and 7 points, Berlow developed it into a member of the Reading Edge series specifically designed for small text on screen. Custer RE was a broad and approachable typeface drawn large on the body with a tall x-height to maximize its apparent size when set very small. This was the beginning of the newly expanded series; in 2020, Berlow added new optical sizes and weights, growing the original design’s versatility up to headline sizes.

“Innovation” best describes Naghi Naghashian’s new Decora Two font. It is a “Liaison amoureuse” between the Sans Serif typeface and English manuscript style. Decora Two is the second of a series of typeface that enables graphic arts professionals the flexibility to use modern initials. It enables, moreover, the use of this typeface for decorative headlines and is a boon for manipulations of both vector-based and pixel-based graphic programs. Typographers worldwide, whose alphabets derive from the Roman one, depend on such innovations in order to meet increased demands of modern communication. This typeface enriches the possibilities for typographical design, which in turn increases the delight in such design. It gives me great pleasure to present this series of new typefaces to my creative colleagues worldwide!

The impulse behind André Maaßen’s design of the Anno typeface was the design of a New Year’s card for the year 2000 (Anno 2000). His desire to create the perfect printed image developed into a family with four styles: Anno 1, Anno 1 Italic, Anno 2, and Anno 2 Italic. Anno 1 and its Italic are semi-classicist typefaces, with a high degree of stroke contrast, while Anno 2 and its Italic are semi-grotesks, with less stroke contrast. Both Anno 1 and Anno 2 are sans serifs typefaces, but they each offer a new interpretation of the genre. The Anno typeface may be used in a number of applications and sizes. And it is naturally suitable for New Year’s greetings and other cards, of course!

Banister looks both contemporary and vintage. It contains a total of 12 styles including two main styles (Normal and Loaded), and for each style it comes with two widths (Semi-condensed and Semi-Expanded) and three weights (Light, Regular and Bold). The 40’s inspired style is subtle in banister, so it comes across more contemporary. Also, slightly curved strokes can be found on some letters, which gives a more organic feeling overall. To gain full advantage of banister, you can toggle “Fill” and “Stroke” on any editable applications to experiment the style, also layering normal and loaded styles let you discover something unexpected. Banister is versatile, simple and organic looking typeface, and good for headlines, logos, tiles and any large texts.
