Stubble is a distressed grunge font with many useful variations that make things easy. It comes in both a Regular and Bold version, and a Smudged version as if the print block has slipped a little bit just at the vital moment. Also there’s 2 jumbled versions with the letters and numbers, and some punctuation, at odd angles and slightly off-whack; there’s 2 versions with little bits of overprint on most of the main characters (as if the corners of the block or stamp have just caught the paper); a couple of Caps Only versions; plus condensed and expanded versions of the main faces. The Bold version is not an exact expanded version of the Regular version, please note, the characters are different (i.e. the misprinting is different) in the two weights. Western and Central European accented characters are included, and there’s a set of replacements for double-letter combinations such as bb, dd and OO, TT, so that 2 different letters will appear - which avoids having exactly the same grunge letter appearing twice in succession (20 or more pairings for each case, all the pairings that reasonably exist) which work as ligature replacements. Edelgotisch is a bold Jugendstil design that shows its strong blackletter roots. This typeface, along with a set of initial letters, was released by Schelter & Giesecke of Leipzig, Germany about 1898 and is very similar to Eckmann-Schrift released by Rudhard'schen Giesserie (later Klingspor) during the same period. One suspects they may have been in direct competition. The decorative devises of the initial letters for Edelgotisch have a simpler, bolder line than for Eckmann. In the initial letter set, the ligatures aesc (AE) and ethel (OE) were generated by embedding the ‘A’ and ‘O’ respectively inside the upper left corner of the ‘E.’ The accented caps were given similar treatment, with the exception of the cedilla. Regarding the I-diaeresis, we considered rotating the accent ninety degrees to avoid and possible misconstruction. On further reflection however, we realized it was silly and unnecessary. No one would look at the accented letterform and see anything but what it is. We have also included four decorative ornaments and a frame with each font.

Carta Marina is based on the titling found on the famous map drawn by Olaus Magnus in 1539. The map of northern Europe took 12 years to complete, and the total size is a huge 1.7 meters tall by 1.25 meters wide. More information about the map, as well as the high resolution reference document used to create the typeface and illustration set can be found at the James Ford Bell Library, University of Minnesota. The titling is slightly aged, very sturdy and elegant. Kade is a display/semi display sans family of fonts based on vernacular lettering photographed over the last ten years in and around the harbors of Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Diaria started as a project in Typeface Architecture for Master in Advanced Typograghy at EINA, Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art de Barcelona, a course tutored by Laura Meseguer and Íñigo Jerez Quintana. Later it has developed into Diaria Pro, an extensive typeface including Cyrillic script, small caps, and various OpenType features. Marzano is a geometric sans serif font that's ideal for headlines, logos, text and advertising, the name comes from the ever so sweet and wonderful San Marzano plum tomato grown in Italy. Marzano includes stylistic alternates, small caps, swash caps, case sensitive forms, old style figures, tabular figures, small caps figures, small caps old style figures, small caps question mark and exclamation point. Mairy font family is a modern sans serif font family. Featuring 9 separate weights each followed by own true italics Mairy is positioned somewhere between rounded sans with humanist touch. In fact the humanist presence in Mairy is a little bit more than the usual doze adding more calligraphic elements mostly noticeable in italic weights but also very important in regulars. This symbiosis of Grotesk geometry with handwriting is well balanced regarding contrast and legibility so that at the end we have a highly usable font family. Zapfino Arabic is designed by Nadine Chahine as the Arabic companion to Hermann Zapf’s iconic Zapfino typeface, with the approval of Prof. Zapf. The design is an evolution of Arabic calligraphic traditions that combines Naskh and Nastaaliq to form a backward slanted calligraphic style. The character proportions refer to Naskh traditions but the isolated and final forms bring with them an exaggerated swash-like movement that references the extravagant ascenders and descenders of Zapfino. The font contains a large number of contextual variants that work to create a smooth flow of pen movement, as well as 10 stylistic sets. The Quarantinus font was created during the 2020 covid 19 lock-down. Tranquility being all around, the JOEBOB graphics studio almost felt like a monastery, and as a result my style of writing and my choice of pen had to fit. All this writing was turned into an authentic handwritten script font with over 150 ligatures, which make it look very credible and spontaneous. The font is especially suitable for personalized 'handwritten' notes, cards and messages. It can be used on T-shirts and on shop-windows. It has an 'instant logo' quality, it can be used for tattoo-designs and it screams home-made everything. Gorgonzola Gothic is a geometrically-inspired gothic sans serif family that's robust and versatile. Inspired by the geometric quirkiness of IxD (also by The Ampersand Forest), Gorgonzola Gothic expands into a thirty-style family that works for everything from branding to text. Oswald Cooper is best known for his emblematic Cooper Black™ typeface. Although he was responsible for several other fonts of roman design, Cooper never drew a sans serif typeface. But that didn’t stop George Ryan from creating one. Ryan saw a sans serif example of Cooper’s lettering in an old book and decided that it deserved to be made into a typeface. Ryan’s initial plan was to make a single-weight typeface that closely matched the slender and condensed proportions of the original lettering. While the resulting Oz Handicraft™ typeface proved to be very popular, Ryan was not satisfied with the limited offering. So, between other projects – and over many years – Ryan worked on expanding the design’s range. The completed family includes light, semi bold and bold weights to complement the original design, plus a matching suite of four “wide” designs, which are closer to normal proportions. Fonts of Oz Handicraft include a Pan-European character set that supports most Central European and many Eastern European languages.
