But sometimes faces that work fine in body text look not so good in large point sizes for display purposes when all the contrast in non-contrast sans-serif, or ink traps, become visible to the naked eye. The typefaces Largo Mager (Light) and Largo Halbfett (Medium) were cast for the first time in 1937 by Ludwig & Mayer based on the designs by Hans Wagner. One weight Largo Licht (Outline) was added in 1956. All fonts were only configured with capitals. The digital version of Largo has pointed serifs and not the slightly rounded ones seen in the hot metal versions which gives the typeface a more elegant note. Largo is often used for fine printing jobs as business cards or formal invitations, or in the fashion and cosmetics fields. Hans Wagner was born in Munich in 1894 and died in 1977 in Altenburg where he had worked as a painter, graphic designer and book designer. In addition to the Largo typeface, he developed, among others, the Altenburger Gotisch (1928), the Welt-Antiqua (1931-1934) and the Wolfram (1930).

Compass TRF is a reevaluation of an existing Compass typeface dated 2002. Compass is a geometric contrast serif typeface - "contemporary Didone". New Compass consists of four styles—regular, italic, alternate and flourish initials with small caps. Compass TRF is recommended for use as display typeface. It is suggested that flourish initials font to be used for decorative purpose only, not basic typesetting. Compass TRF generated as OpenType single master format with Western CP1252 character set.

The basic letterforms for this typeface were found on a 1920s French poster for Les Arts de Feu by an unnamed artist. The stark geometric forms have been dressed up with an outline treatment, a drop-up shadow and a non-traditional small cap arrangement to make it even more striking, in a spooky kind of way. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

Hasan Alquds Unicode is an Arabic display typeface. It is useful for titles and graphic projects where a contemporary, streamlined look is desired. The font is based on the simple lines of Kufi calligraphy, and the uniform slope of its strokes gives it a structured, geometric feel. It supported all scripts that used Arabic glyphs compatible with Unicode 4.2. Hasan Alquds is the first released typeface of collaboration between Hasan Abu Afash and Mamoun Sakkal.

Bechtlers is a sharp geometric display sans font with roman proportion. Every character is in essence built from a rectangle (square), a circle and a triangle, and with just a little adjustment to make them appear optically equivalent. Fada is a unicase geometric grotesque that was made on the basis of a logo for a bar, which we have designed. We were inspired by the license plate, in which the letters have specific heats in places conjoined. The only difference between upper or lower case characters is reduced and increased waist. This is characteristic not only for letters and digits. Fada - good for fashion, editorial, posters, logos and so on.

Decima – condensed geometric Sans Serif typeface, released back in 2009 and quite successful ever since (MyFonts Rising Star, February 2009). Decima Pro – an upgraded version of Decima, with careful refinements to glyph shapes and extension of glyph amounts, which enabled support of more Latin languages as well as support of Cyrillic. The Tempo font family was designed by R. Hunter Middleton and released between 1930 and 1931. The instant success of Futura in 1927 led to many similar designs, and Tempo is the version produced by the Ludlow foundry for large headlines in newpapers. Like Futura, Tempo font is basically geometric, but shows some humanistic influence. Tempo is popular for newspaper and commercial printing, and the heavy condensed font is excellent for headlines.
