Display Uncanny is a display font not intended for text use. It was designed specifically for display, headline, logotype, branding, and similar applications. The same A to Z characters are located under the shift+character set and character set keys with the ones under the character set keys reduced in size. There are numbers and punctuation located under their respective keys.

Initial Seals JNL was created by utilizing the typeface from Gummed Letters JNL and one of the decorative dingbats from Miscellany JNL. On the capital A-Z keys, the letters are black on a white on black seal design, while the lower case a-z keys have a seal version in solid black with white letters. Corresponding blank versions of the seals are on the left and right parenthesis keys, and the period key has a fill oval for overlaying background colors onto the black and white set.

The rustic lettering which also served as the model for Grist Mill JNL is the basis for Gristwood JNL. Another set of vintage wood type has the letters reversed out of blocks, making for a specialty titling font. Decorative end caps are located on the greater and less than keys and also on the plus and equal keys. A blank block for regular word spacing is on the underscore key, along with a wider blank box on the backslash key. This typeface has a somewhat limited character set.

This font was inspired from the so called "Insular Style" Latin script used in Celtic monasteries (Ireland, Scotland—with the well known Book of Kells—and England) from the late 6th to 9th, before the Carolingian "Caroline" (look at our 825 Karolus). It was a regular script, rounded, written slowly, used mainly for specially meticulous books, with a very few ligatures. The rarely-used capitals consisted of enlarged lowercases, but, on the other hand, there was numerous historical initials. The Titling style in this familly allows to two-color decorated letters to be created, using OTF Titling feature or copy and paste technique. We have created the font as to be adapted for contemporary users, differentiating between U and V, I and J, which has not any relevance for ancient Latin scribes, and naturally with Thorn, Oslash, Lslash, K,W... The specific Celtic "y" is added as an historical alternate.

Dignus was inspired in two clever and famous typefaces: Bank Gothic and Microgramma. Bank Gothic designed by Morris Fuller Benton for ATF in 1930. Microgramma typeface designed by Alessandro Butti and Aldo Novarese for Nebiolo in 1952. Those typefaces were based on a stable rectangular shape with rounded corners, denoting the constructivist heritage and technological spirit of '50. We'd intended to review that typographic scenery with our contemporary point of view, aiming to obtain the formal synthesis of the signs and increase its legibility. Dignus fonts support Central, Eastern and Western European languages. Retail Merchant JNL is strictly for making prices. The 0-9 keys have large numbers, the shift position of the same keys have smaller, centered numbers, and the alphabet keys have a variety of smaller numbers with underscores in single digits, pairs of numerals and even a few complete prices such as "$1.00". Thrown in for good measure are companion words... "at", "for, "each", "lb." and "dozen"...
