After the Second World War, the Ionic style replaced Modern Face as the favored typeface for newsprint. Olympian itself tends toward the Old Face style but is nevertheless an example of this new generation, a result of a time of change and experimentation.

JetJaneMono is a large family of sans-serif faces which are monospaced. It is very plain (plain=plane=jet). A very distinctive style of font, in a kind of art deco style form the '30s.
