Here in the heart of Santa Monica, in the disused 1940s aircraft hangar we like to call the Comicraft Studios, we know that times are tough. Yes, we felt it was time to create a font for the huddled masses yearning to breathe free, for the wretched refuse of our teeming shores. A font, if you will, for the tempest-tossed. It was a tall order, but Jazzy JG Roshell created this one while he was in line at the bank, waiting for his personal bailout. Meticulously crafted using one of those ballpoint pens attached to the cashier’s station by elastic, Credit Crunch is the Hamburger Helper of comic book fonts. What fascinated me seeing, a couple of letters, in Bob Roy Kelly's book (American Wood Type:1828-1900) were the little squares in the corners that represent a glow from lighting coming from below and from the right. Such ambiguity excited me and I thought that today with digital resources it wouldn't take long to do it. Seeing it working is excellent. Breeze is a fun font from Frank Marciuliano where the letters are formed like the sails from the boat. He may have been inspired from the sailboats which he sees on the walks along the shore on the Hudson River. There are two forms available. Left and right define the direction of the blowing wind.

Mooono is retro futuristic monospaced font. The bright side (uppercase) is straight and to the point but the dark side (lowercase) is fat and funky. Mix up the upper and lower to create some serious spaced out vibes. I only saw the crescent, you'll see the whole of the mooono!

A solid calligraphic letter designed by John Matt in the middle 1960s. The typeface did not see use until Compugraphic copied a set of the sketches in the late 1970s, naming the result Garth Graphic in honor of Bill Garth, late president and founder.

A tessellation is a shape that can be used to completely fill the plane—simple examples are isosceles triangles, squares, and hexagons. Tessellation patterns are eye-catching and visually appealing, which is the reason that they have long been popular in a variety of decorative situations, such as quilting. The black style can be used to construct colored patterns. Hyldemoer (in Nordic folklore) is a tree spirit, or nymph, who lives in elder trees. H.C. Andersen also wrote a story about Hyldemoer (‘The Little Elder-Tree Mother’ in English). Hyldemoer font is based on my Mysterious font and the first letters of the Beowulf manuscript (Hwæt! We Gardena…). Hyldemoer is a jumpy fairytale font, which comes with some interesting alternate glyphs and ligatures, plus a harvest of diacritics. Use it for your book covers, product packaging, posters and art work.

Kidela is an exuberant and eccentric serif typeface reminiscent of hand painted signage. Kidela features tight kerning and spacing, and some interesting effects can be achieved by adjusting the tracking. Crisp and clean with a non-traditional italics, Euroika is a decorative, serifed alphabet. The letters have high contrast between the thick and thin strokes and the lower-case letters have a small x-height. The family consists of ten members.

The opening title for the 1962 Blake Edwards film "Days of Wine and Roses" [starring Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick] was the inspiration for Cocktail Hour JNL. Adding to the playfulness of this font, the characters float above the baseline. Cocktail Hour JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Lil Rhino is the more reserved but still slightly offbeat sister to the quirky comic Fat Rhino typeface. You can see the resemblance, they work well together, but they also each hold their own.

We found little girls just love to see their names in flowers, so we put the metal to the petal. The license agreement states that you can take this font apart with no limits.

PTx Flowers Font Family 2 fonts: regular and silhouette each font - 6 glyphs TTF format Bear in mind that each glyph of the font PTx Flowers Regular is close to the maximum limit of points possible in ttf, which means that despite being tested in several programs, illustrator, photoshop, among others including word, some bugs may occur, depending on the rendering capability of the program you are working on. I found however that most of the time, that by the way the bugs, when tested, were only verified in word, that changing the size of the letter/glyph or even the zoom of the document, the letter/glyph was rendered correctly. These fonts have a very limited number of glyphs because, due to the glyphs having too many points, it can take some time to render. This will depend on the capacity of the machine's graphics card (computer, tablet, mobile phone). Hence a low number to take as little time as possible.
