Marita combines sternness with swing and, from this, develops its own, unique elegance. This makes Marita quite versatile, also and especially for headline settings. Apart from numerous ligatures, the font also includes old style figures. Marita is based on brush writing with drop-shaped serifs. The idea was to try to apply a given design criteria (also see Volker Schnebel's Manuel and Martin fonts) to every single character. In other words, start with a character and develop all of the others from it. This is quite easy for some characters but extremely difficult for others. This process generates creativity and the characters move away from the initial constructed sketch. Together in a typeface, the individual characters are now all of a piece and character.

The idea for Quirky was born while I was looking at a book of etchings by British artist Graham Clarke. His signature, crawling spider-like across the page, fascinated me with its casual, almost messy, inky dark and light drama. I started scribbling the alphabet as I imagined he would write it, based on his signature, then continued, adding curls, making the characters more angular, and refining the dramatic play between dark and light. Finally, Quirky appeared. Apparently casual, Quirky is, in fact, a true connected script. farloni is a monospaced monoline typeface family that can be used in a variety of typographic environments. it comes in four weights, from light to bold. the typeface is intended for use in display sizes, but looks quite legible in text and it works well for editorial and brand design.

If there s a back-story about the design inspiration for Modern Appliances JNL, it's lost to time. An unfinished design for quite a while, this clean sans with an Art Deco flair was recently completed, and the design quality should speak more for its appeal than any promotional blurb.

Flaming is a bold and stylish font. Equipped with several alternative characters and ligatures, it will make your design look more attractive and unique. Although Flaming has bold letters and quite tightly spaced, it's clean and legible. All alternate characters are PUA encoded and accessible, although without additional design software.

Mordings JNL is an odd-lot collection of images. These assorted dingbats are leftover art that never quite made it to one particular dingbat font category, but together comprise an eclectic assortment. This disarming beauty is based on a typeface named "Archer" from the 1905 specimen book from Barnhart Brothers & Spindler. The original was a rather light face; this beefed-up version highlights the face’s charming quirks quite nicely. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

Moppetops is a sophisticated yet quirky handwritten typeface that comes with a huge amount of graphical elements, accented and even greek letters. The font features auto ligatures for duplicate letters, some connected letters, quite a few graphical elements that can be accessed by shortcuts (lowercase letter + number form 0-9) and smallcaps.

Ashtanga was named after a type of yoga. In Sanskrit it means "eight-limbed", which I find quite appropriate, give the amount of swirls and curls. The font is 'all-caps', but the upper and lower case glyphs differ completely. They are, of course, fully interchangeable. Ashtanga comes with multi language support.

Roklin is an elegant serif family for use as both formal text and headers. Has quite a lot of character alternatives and also enhanced ligatures. It's perfect for casual typography as well as official documents, really. All characters are PUA Encoded, you can use this font easily in many common editor software easily.

Dragonblood is quite an unusual font: it was made with Parker ink and a Chinese fur brush. When all the glyphs had been vectorized, and I saw them in a text for the first time, the only appropriate name I could think of was Dragonblood. Dragonblood comes with a realm of diacritics.

At first glance Parking Lot Stencil JNL look quite similar to many sans stencil fonts, but rest assured there are numerous subtle nuances that give the typeface its own unique flavor. Modeled after the plastic stencils used for marking numbers and directional information on paved surfaces, the lettering is clean yet industrial.

Porceleina is elegant, what more can I say? This handmade and handdrawn font comes with a heavy loadful of diacritics - and the Opentype contextual alternates makes sure that the font cycles between the six different...yes SIX different...versions of each letter from a-z! That's quite awesome, if you ask me!

NarrowWay is a family of 18 condensed and ultra-condensed sans-serif typefaces. The family started with the ultra-condensed widths, then the condensed and regular widths (the regular is still quite condensed) were added. All widths have three weights and each weight has an italics style. These 18 styles lack a true lowercase but rather have a set of alternative characters, some based on lower-case forms, on the lower-case keys. Some alternative letters can be reached with the OpenType feature of stylistic sets. The character spacing in most of the styles is quite loose and it can be tightened with an application's character spacing if needed. These typefaces are display faces that can be useful for squeezing tall lettering into tight spaces. They are not readable at small point sizes.
