Greenalyzed is a made up word is a font that could set your mind to something handmade and eco friendly. The letters are clumsy and childish naive, but really fun and legible. Comes in 3 different versions: Regular, Rough and Stitch. The Stitch version is good as a top or shadow layer. I also added multilingual support and "jumpy" ligature substitutions for the most common double letters. Enjoy!

Obelysk Grotesk was designed by the Lanston Drawing Office in the late 1980s. This face is a reconstruction of Spire (1937) drawn by Sol Hess. The skeleton of Spire Roman stands with the serifs removed. Like Spire, this font has no lower case, but does offer alternate cap styles in some of the lower case positions. Spire and Obelysk have both been used prominently in the fashion industry.

Galangal, or Laos, is a root belonging to the ginger family, which is used in Indonesian cuisine. Since this font has the same design characteristics as Kurkuma, I thought naming it after a root was quite appropriate. Galangal is pretty unique, with thin and fat areas, bizarre glyphs and rough edges. Upper and lower case are fully interchangeable and the typeface comes with a full range of diacritics.

This font family is simplified Arabic which was inspired from the modern Naskh style, where the reverse contrast is low and the counter forms are open. The original design is from the Lisboa Sans typeface (Latin), published on 2005 and after some years, this multi-script family is the compromise and balance between these two different scripts. This typeface contains characters for setting Arabic, Persian and Urdu languages.

There were several motivations for this font. It was a font in my style, a left-handed designer. But also, I wanted a script designed to work with ePUBs. This means fancy bullets in place of some of the ASCII characters—since ePUB readers do not support OpenType at all. Basically, I just had fun with it. The heifer for the mu figure cracks me up. Containing over 100 ligatures, Epistula is a loosely written font, resembling my own natural way of writing. It has a nice flow and the pointy tail-ends give it a certain speed. Creating Epistula has been a long process, but returning to the drawing board a few times has – in my humble opinion – paid off. This font comes in two weights: regular and medium. Because sometimes one flavour just isn’t enough…

Gloriana is based on hand lettered titles from an old fairy tale book. The illustrator isn't credited, and we had to create and modify a lot of characters, but we preserved the interesting personality of the original lettering. In creating Gloriana the popularity of Folkard was kept very much in mind, so it has some of the same features, including special flourished characters accessed with the option/alt key.

There are two “personalities” in this font. Jacques’ persona comes to life when typing in all lowercase letters. And Gilles’: when using all uppercase. I have no particular love for pigeons, but I read an interesting article about war pigeons being used to send messages to an fro. One pigeon (called William of Orange) even saved more than 2000 soldiers during the Battle of Arnhem. Pigeon Post is a lovely cartoon and kids font.
