A style of die-cut cardboard letters and numbers used for signs, displays and show cards was the basis for Haute Couture JNL, an Art-Deco flavored typeface from Jeff Levine. Swithin is based on hand lettering from the titles in a Victorian fairy tale collection. I love learning new words. I stumbled upon the term Gingerline after I named an older font Gamboge. Like Gamboge, Gingerline is a name for a shade of orange - the color of ripe kumquats to be precise. Didn’t know that! Gingerline font is a handmade calligraphy font; nice and even, thick and thin and quite elegant if I may say so. Comes with an abundance of diacritics as well.

Black Bamboo is a beautiful plant. My father in law, who recently passed away, loved it and had a prized specimen growing in his garden. This font was named in his honour. Black Bamboo font is a bold typeface, created using a good brush and quality paint. It is all caps, but upper and lower case differ and can be freely interchanged. Of course, Black Bamboo comes with all diacritics.

Santini began as an experiment in mixing historical art deco, art nouveau, arts and crafts, and to a lesser extent Bauhaus sources. Surprised at the pleasant outcome of the experiment, we expanded it to become three weights, and included some alternates within the fonts themselves.
