There was a time in this country when many young people studied a trade via a correspondence course through the mail. Eckhardt Showcard JNL and Eckhardt Showcard Two JNL are drawn from more lettering found in an old sign painting book. Jeff Levine has continued naming a series of fonts for the late Albert Eckhardt, Jr. (1929-2005) who had owned Allied Signs in Miami, Florida from 1959 until his passing. Al was a talented lettering artist and a good friend to Jeff.

Howdy is a modern French Clarendon revival typeface inspired by late 19th-century woodblock type and sign painting. Its ties to the American West evoke a distinctive western and retro flair. It was designed with flexibility in mind. Intended for use as a display type, its reverse contrast forms make an impact from tall or wide headlines and anything in between.

Ico Weather is a set of 115 symbols depicting weather, temperature, weather forecast and astronomy. To name a few, there are sun, clouds, rain, snow, thermometers, wind socks, tornados, volcanoes, weather warnings as well as symbol for raining fish. The style of Ico is inspired by the look of symbols used on the classic monochrome LCD displays. The symbols are monolinear with rounded corners, composed of a smallest possible number of elements. In addition, the rounded style is accompanied by a second style with sharp corners and more detailed drawing. All symbols of Ico share the same width, making the font compatible with the LCD typeface ION. Together, they are the perfect sollution for LCD style typography. P22 Graciosa is a five font family based upon designs for a metal type by Carlos Winkow (1882–1952), a German type designer who lived and worked in Spain in the early 20th Century. Graciosa is a sort of hybrid blackletter/text font, with simplified blackletter caps and a serifed lowercase with subtle script flare. There is a Regular, Black, an open version called White, and an engraved version called Gris. The version called Multi serves as a fill font to allow for multi-colored layering options. A revival of these designs was initiated by Matthias Beck in 2015. The character set was expanded for use in 21 languages (OpenType Standard). The digitization and reintroduction of these old fonts—created in Spain and practically forgotten—makes them regain a new life. This project was subsidized by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.

Kiosk is a prominent display typeface pair. It is a sturdy condensed sans serif and an eloquent brush script. In addition there are textured “print” versions of them both. Kiosk fonts work as a pair or as themselves. Sans is great for sturdy headlines, menu titles, packaging or any such, the bigger the better. Script is great as a logotype, used for quotes, magazines, packaging and branding. Textured versions are the same fonts with a rugged outline and with a “stamp” texture inside the letters. Kiosk Script is equipped with several OpenType features. It has Contextual Alternates and Standard Ligatures that are automatically help to keep the connections smooth. They’re both automatically on. Terafile, a sans serif family designed by Raúl Plancarte who was inspired by hi-tech aesthetics. It is made up of eight weight variants with their respective italic versions. Ideally it works to capture in a graphic way the universe related to technology, sci-fi, industry and similar topics. It is a mixed family, because the construction of certain letters (as in "a", "f", "z", "B", "P", among others) is enriched with different finishes in structure to gain differentiation and plasticity. In other words, it moves away from an entirely academic design. Another important line in the creative concept of this typeface is the function of its ink traps, which, in addition to fulfilling their primary function, serve to gain gestuality in its use. This font is capable of covering complex design needs by enabling association with specific themes, which makes it highly competitive in its graphic line.

ABTS Crestwing is a unique initial font with extraordinary flexibility and beauty. There are 5 wing styles to choose from. The wings are accessed through typing numbers. The 5 pairs are: [1, 2] [3, 4] [5, 6] [7, 8] & [9, 0]. The odd numbers in the pairs will give you a left wing, and the even numbers will give you a right wing. The letters are separated into upper and lowercase. Uppercase has a crest point, the lowercase does not, giving you the ability to string letters together to form words and phrases, and place the tip of the crest above the letter of your choosing. Optional endcaps are available using the brackets on your keyboard "[, ]." This allows you to cap off a word if you wish not to use a wing to do so. Crestwing is both beautiful and unique, and works best at large sizes.

Alta Mesa is a revival of an old type design from the 1800's that was sold by most of the type foundries in the US and Europe of that time period so it is difficult to know the foundry of origin. New with this version are the fill fonts and plain styles, the fill fonts may be used as stand alone fonts, however the letter spacing is much wider, the plain versions are recommended if you desire a solid black weight. The regular Fill font is in registration with the Regular and Open versions while the Fill L font is in registration with the L and Open L versions. This was a very charming font in its time which was heavily used on old billheads and letterheads. We're pleased to bring this type design, which hasn't been used for over 100 years, into the digital world today.

I have completely redone the spacing in this font, making the sidebearings more conventional. And after replacing the kerning with fresh pairs working together with the new spacing the font looks like a real gem. I love it! The inline version has a wider spacing after the letters CEK = no connecting words. Otherwise just as lovely and retro! Nick Curtis says: "Here’s a strange hybrid: I took the lower case from the formal script font Stuyvesant, straightened out its rather extreme 22° slant, and combined them with caps from the font Bellevue, again making them upright, and adding an inline effect. Kaytek™ Sans is a fresh take on the correspondence typefaces of the 90s - which were originally designed for the demands of office environments. Just like its predecessors, this text typeface is robust and hard-working - meaning it works well in challenging design or printing environments - but it’s not without personality. Look closer at the lowercase g and a, especially in the italic, and you can see some unexpected elements of subversiveness within the design. Inspired by the 1977 anthology horror film called "Uncanny", Uncanny Cat PB captures all the awkward fun of the film's titling sequence. Feline revenge has never looked so good.
