Tepuy is the name given to the ancient plateau-shaped mountains that abound in the Venezuelan Amazon. Tepuy is a display typeface inspired by the symbolic forms of the Venezuelan ethnic roots. It is constructed based on a very precise geometry of open forms that produce a double letter in form and counterform. Tepuy originates as an evolution curve of my Font Makiritare rectilinearly. Was devised for a book of photographs of the ancient mountains of the Venezuelan Amazon, its form and Makiritare are morphologically inspired crafts in the ethnic groups of the region. Tepuy is held in a very precise geometric construction based on rounded forms, each letter is a form envelope enclosing another in counterform, is a letter to display. Tepuy comes in four versions Regular, Light and thin, and there is a double line version enclosed. Tepuy recommended for creative headlines for the label and packaging design aimed at all ages.

Halloween lends itself to graphic images: witches, ghosts, bats, jack-o'lanterns and haunted houses. When we think of a haunted house, we generally think of a large, abandoned, derelict Victorian wood-frame house. The style is usually Second Empire or Queen Anne. There tends to be a lot of decoration. There is usually a porch or two with decorative spindle work. There is probably a tower, either square with a mansard roof such as one might see in Paris or round with a conical roof borrowed from a Loire Valley chateau. These houses were generally built in the United States between 1860 and 1900, products of the exuberance of a time before income tax. It took at least three servants to maintain such a house and was very expensive. Few can afford them today. That is why so many were converted to professional offices, multi-family dwellings or simply abandoned. HAUNTED HOUSE is our typographical contribution to Halloween. Based on our font PETRARKA ML, it features decorative capitol letters that utilize the silhouette of a Second Empire style house complete with a dead tree and a full moon. The font includes 8 ornaments suitable for flyers and party invitations. Revision 2.000 eliminates dual encoding, harmonizes metrics, adds new glyphs, and adds open type features. Frykas is warm and friendly, hand-drawn font. It has a simple form with subtle irregularities, but no swashes or ornaments. This condensed font family with five styles will be a great solution for posters, titles, short sentences or whenever you need impact.

Wedding Text was designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1901 for American Type Founders (ATF). The face was so popular that its forms soon began appearing with other font foundries under different names, Elite Kanzlei with D. Stempel AG, Comtesse with C.F. Rühl, Linotext with Linotype, etc. Its ornamental forms are not considered very legible by today's standards; therefore it should be used for headlines and short texts in point sizes 12 or larger.

Heinz is inspired by the poster design of Heinz Schulz-Neudamm for Fritz Lang’s famous silent movie Metropolis. Heinz Schulz-Neudamm did quite a lot of work for the German branches of big American movie companies like 20th Century Fox or MGM. His most famous work is probably the title lettering for the Metropolis movie. The original drawing for that poster sold in 2005 in London for 398.000 Pound Sterling (approx. US $ 600.000). Sánchez Niu is a redesign of Sánchez—one of the first font families by Latinotype designed in 2011. In the typedesign industry the terms ‘nova’, ‘neue’, ‘next’, ‘new’ are often used to refer to a typeface that has been modified in different ways: redesign, technical readjustments, greater number of characters, etc. At Latinotype we are now starting to use the word ‘niu’ to refer to these kinds of typefaces. Niu is an adaptation of the original word ‘new’, i.e., we have adapted this English word to the phonology and spelling of our own language but keeping the original meaning. Race mixing, diversity, change and adaptation are part of the essence of Latin American culture and, at Latinotype, we are all constantly expressing these elements in everything we do. Latin Power! This new version includes improvements that make it work well with longer text. Such improvements have not had a major effect on the look of the font, though. We have adjusted the original proportions and added a number of new characters as well as OpenType features such as small caps, oldstyle figures, tabular numbers and stylistic alternates. This sans-serif type family of two weights plus matching italics. Bredagh (pronounced Braid-ah) is a happy font! It can bring a smile to your face, yet is at one with science and mathematics and the Arts. The first presentation is in a Poetry book. Overall, it is a strong and capable font. The organic nature of the font Breadgh is in Nature itself, with the roundels as found in the cross-section of a tree, for example, both circular and rounded oblong shapes, influencing. Accordingly, some of the characters are of a condensed nature and some are not. The lower case does not have the condensed aspects but the numerals do. In the creation of Bredagh, it was the dynamic between all of these that was part of the challenge. And to make them all work together subtly to be in overall harmony—was the ultimate challenge.

Heinrich Wieynck’s blackletter font, carefully redrawn and redesigned for modern use. Due to its proportions, this blackletter font can also be used for body texts. This font contains the letter ‚long s‘ which can be reached in two ways. Either you use the OpenType feature ‚historical forms‘, or you type the summation sign on your keyboard. There are two graphic elements implemented, a corner element and a pearl for framing. The corner can be set by [alt] + [shift] + 1 for the outline, and [alt] + v for the filling. The pearl, set on a path, is accomplished by [alt] + [shift] + p for the outline, and [alt] + p for the filling.

I really don’t like candy. In fact, I even hate the smell of candy! But… You can wake me up for caramel in any form or shape! When I was a kid, we used to get a tin of wrapped English ‘quality’ toffees for Christmas. My favourites were the big, flat chewy caramels in a bright purple wrapper! Chewy Caramel is a happy handmade font, ideal for book covers, candy wrappers and labels. Comes with double-letter ligatures for the lower case.

Named by the german word for bustling around, to scurry or swarming the Wusel has a very active appearance. It's completely handmade and doodely because of all the crisscrossing lines, which forms big, bold, sanserif letters. These are very good to read wether they're big or small. Just a very playful, fun and simple font to use for headlines, tags and all kind of things which need al little attention.

I have always had a keen interest in forging; I used to be a silversmith, and I love working with metal. Some time ago I forged my first axe (a skeggøx or bearded axe), sharpened it and fitted it with a handmade ash handle. It isn’t perfect, but it is my first ever forged axe and I’m pretty proud of it. All of this went through my head when I started drawing the glyphs for this font. And to be honest, I couldn’t find a more suitable name for it! Bladesmith is a handmade font, forged in fire (haha). It was actually made with an old sharpie. It is a rough and ready font, quite suited for headlines, book covers and posters.

The Terminus typeface is an exploration of what occurs to letterforms when flip-disc display and variable-message signs begin to malfunction. Whether caused by analog or computer error, there is a mechanical beauty and randomness in the deterioration of the forms. Dresser's wild take on this concept purposely pushes the limits of legibility along with incorporating historical bits and pieces from blackletter and uncial script forms into this modern digital grid. OpenType font features provide the user with four options to use the typeface. Simply load the default Terminus for a surprisingly legible breakdown of digital characters. Select “Contextual Alternates” for a random selection of altered forms from the 994 glyphs included in the font. ☞ Bona Nova is a collective revival project of Bona typeface designed in 1971 by the author of polish banknotes Andrzej Heidrich. Besides giving the project a digital font form the aim was to expand the base character set: preparation of small caps, designing the alternative glyphs and multiple opentype features. Working together with the author we designed two new text versions: regular and bold – to give the family a form of a classic script triad. ☞ It is accompanied by three title versions and three contour styles under the name of Bona Sforza. All styles contains over 1200 glyphs. ☞ Bona Nova is an unprecedented typographic adventure for our team. We hope that our work will allow the cultural heritage of Bona and the work of Andrzeja Heidricha to gain new followers and fans. Brody’s fonts borrow elements from both Art Deco and non-Western styles. His designs received international recognition for their innovative, computer-oriented style, reaching almost cult status. Banret is built using simple geometric shapes. It is mostly the result of my experiments on the other font I made earlier in 2016, called Inventor. Font is inspired by old fonts of the beginning of the 20th century. Capital letters are built with one to four proportions. The font has four weights: normal, and bold, and two alternatives: ribbon, and flag. As far as it is a decorative font, it is not designed for large amounts of text. But it is perfect for creating branding elements, logos, slogans and posters.

The Typorium presents a new optimized and enriched version of ITC Ellipse which first appeared in 1996 in the International Typeface Corporation typeface library. ITC Ellipse Script is a complementary typeface to ITC Ellipse Neo, designed a very legible handwriting style. ITC Ellipse Script is both modern and classic. Modern in the unusual shape based on the geometric ellipse form. And classic in the structure of some letters like the lower cases c, e, g, o, s. These letters alone could come from a traditional typeface, but they fit perfectly with the atypical rest of the alphabet giving it a present-day and traditional mix. Herzchen is a well developed sans serif font. The curving and swinging letter forms remind a little of serif fonts, on closer inspection, however, they rather remind of upright italics. Playful details give charm to the typeface and make Herzchen lively and distinctive. With four cuts the typeface is suitable for simple corporate and editorial design projects. In addition there are many ligatures in the expert-set for individual use.

Linotype Salamander is a part of the Take Type Library, selected from the contestants of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contests of 1994 and 1997. Designed by German artist Michael Struller, the font seems to be composed of strokes and curves jointed together to form characters. Yet Salamander also looks like a handwriting font, in part because of its slight lean to the right. The font contains four basic weights, from regular to demibold, and two particularly heavy double-weights. Linotype Salamander is a light and lively font, particularly good for short texts of point size 10 and up or, in its heavier weights, for headlines and displays.

A heavy duty block-shadow font derived from Sentinel Sten Type, Maus' inflexible, near-featureless block-like shapes give the impression of great mass and solidity. Maus is an example of minimalism in type design, using a minimum of sculpting to elicit the essence of familiar Latin forms. Two sets of complimentary letters allow designers to pick and choose combinations for letter fit, for their symmetric values, or to create a particular look or feel to suit the subject. Obviously Maus has great potential for signage, posters and billboards, and screen-printed garments.
