Galaxo Dot is a sister to Galaxo Line. HGB Galaxo is a tribute to Othmar Motter (1927–2010), the Vorarlberg graphic artist and typeface designer, who designed very individual and perfectly crafted typefaces in the 1970's and later. (Motter Ombra, Motter Tectura ...) From a Motter sketch of 5 letters for a logogram, I derived a simplified letterform and developed all the necessary characters. Working on these glyphs and delving deeper into Motter's letterforms, the respect for the accuracy with which he drew his letters (in ink) grew more and more. The spiral resembles the shape of a galaxy, hence the name Galaxo. The font is suitable for retro, poster and logo design.

Ronde Script (Ronde meaning "A kind of script in which the heavy strokes are nearly upright, giving the characters when taken together a round look.") is based on the original design named Parisian Ronde released in 1878 by the Chappelle Foundry in Paris. Other versions of this script include Inland French Script, French Script, French Plate, and Typo Upright. Different type foundries tied to the releases of this design include Mayeur (Paris), Stephenson Blake (London), Bernhardt Brothers & Spindler (Chicago), and ATF (Elizabeth, NJ). This style of script has been a very popular choice in designing wedding invitations and so many other formal announcements for over 130 years. Its very readable, formal and elegant with an antique or retro feel.

Journal type family is a low-contrast text face of the Ionic-Legibility group. It was designed at the Polygraphmash Type Design Bureau in 3 styles in 1951–53 by Lev Malanov and Elena Tsaregorodtseva. The fonts were based on Cyrillic version of Excelsior that was developed in 1936 in Moscow by professor Michael Shchelkunov, Nikolay Kudryashev et al., that in its turn was based on Excelcior by Chauncey H. Griffith, 1931, Mergenthaler Linotype. Digital version was developed in ParaGraph (ParaType) in 1991. In 2012–13 designer Natalia Vasilyeva made some corrections in original digital data, extended character set and add bold italic style. The family was rereleased in ParaType in 2013.

As the name suggests, Goldie is an old-style serif typeface designed for striking headlines. Goldie has strong rounded serifs and a soft touch to it. It suits well to movie titles, novel covers, posters and so on, wherever you need a certain classic feeling and the font itself to act as an illustration. Goldie Old Style is easy to use to create nice strong headlines with character. In addition it’s equipped with 230 interlocking Discretionary Ligatures, Swash Alternates and a selection of common accented characters that are scaled down, so that they match the height of the rest of the font with the accent marks. dT Jakob started as a revival by Gustavo Soares for Paul van der Laan’s class at the Type and Media Masters, in The Hague, NL – back in 2007. There are quite a few excellent geometric sans typefaces available, but we did want to make our contribution and have a fine geometric face to offer. dT Jakob was born out of Erbar, by Jakob Erbar, one of the very first geometric sans, released in metal around 1926. Our goal was to make a versatile typeface, that handles display and text typography beautifully. A set of rounded Art Deco initials set inside circular borders was found amongst the pages of the vintage French lettering book "Modèles de Lettres Modernes par Georges Léculier”. Now made into a digital font called Deco Spot Initials JNL, these classic letter forms are available in both the original white-on-black version and as a black-on-white alternate design.

Positive Vibe JNL is a meeting of two eras... The model for this font was Jeff Levine's Two Reeler JNL, modeled after title cards in a Charlie Chaplin movie from the beginning of the 1900s. With a few stroke weight shifts, this versatile font takes on the image of the "Peace and Love" generation of the mid-60s and early 70s.

Heidenberg is a hand lettering work with retro style. This well designed font was inspired from classic typography designs in 60's to 80's. Originally commissioned by magazine publisher IPC, Rogue has proved to be one of the most popular Device releases. Now extended and updated as Rogue Nova, it sports additional weights, East European language support and reengineered spacing and kerning. It is now a versatile 30-font family, with five weights and three widths, all with italics. Powerful and authoritative, sharp-edged and contemporary.

An old rubber stamp printing set called the Aristocrat Sign Marker was the inspiration for this font from Jeff Levine. The letter shapes are truly reminiscent of the 1920s and early 30s with their casual playfulness, hence the font's name of Casual Friday JNL. To add a more nostalgic touch, the characters show slight imperfection of shape, as if hand-lettered.

This exuberant face was suggested by a piece of French sheet music from the 1930s for the song Sur un Air de Shimmy, The name comes from an Australian song from the 1950s about a noncompliant boomerang. Both versions of this font contain the Unicode 1252 (Latin) and Unicode 1250 (Central European) character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

The title card for the 1938 screwball comedy "Four's a Crowd" (starring Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland and Rosalind Russell) offered a classic, thin Art Deco type design with stylized letter forms. This is the basis for Society Column JNL; which derives its name from the newspaper columns popularized in that era detailing the whereabouts of the "upper crust" of society.

Caslon1821 is a revived "Italian" typeface of foundry Caslon & Livermore, 1821. The typeface quickly extended across Europe and America. It came to Russia and became very popular from France in the 30s of the XIX century. It's Cyrillic versions were offered by typefoundries of Revillion and Co., Pluchard, Semen, etc. In our version we also added support for Hebrew (with vowels).

The design of Concert Series JNL is based on hand-lettering for a 1930s-era WPA (Works Progress Administration) poster for the Federal Music Project of New York City’s symphony concerts. Held every Sunday at the Theater of Music [located at 254 West 54th Street], the admission in those Depression-era days was 25 cents and 60 cents, with all seats reserved.

Deco Metro is a 1920s and 30s inspired display family, ideal for posters, banners, book covers and other promotional work. Two weights, regular (with an incised centre line) and bold (without the centre line) are offered. The family has an extensive range of features including discretionary ligatures, old-style numerals, Swash Letter and numeral forms, small capitals, Roman numerals and fractions.

Stgotic, designed in 2006, was the first digital font designed by Daniel Hernández. It is a blackletter typeface designed for low resolution screen devices. Stgotic was designed to be seen at 8 pts (and multiples of 8). In the year 2006, it was recognized as the best screen font by the TipoGráfica magazine in the context of the Bienal de Letras Latinas.

This rough-hewn offering is patterned after Antikva Margaret, designed by Zoltán Nagy for VGC in the mid-60s. Its energetic and, at times, eccentric letterforms make this face a perfect choice for headlines and subheads that will be noticed. Both versions include the complete Latin 1252, Central European 1250 and Turkish 1254 character sets, as well as localization for Moldovan and Romanian.

Introducing Maas, a new font collection designed by the passionate designer Mike Zuidgeest in Rotterdam. Each letter of the font was created in Illustrator and handcrafted to perfection. Living from 1545 in Lyon, France, the famous punchcutter Robert Granjon created a typeface that looked like his own handwriting. The first book printed with this font, in 1557, was probably Dialogues de la vie et de la mort by Innocent Ringhier. We offer the complete typeface. It is a charming font with historical forms (long s, final s and others) and many ligatures, enriched with accented letters and other characters that did not exist in the original (thorn, eth, lslash and others), and a lot of alternates that permit rich and varying typography. Warning: all characters appear with the 1500s manual blackletter old style, especially letters “e” “r” or “h” alternate and some ending forms, and may be difficult to read at first, but it quickly becomes very easy. The font contains all characters for Baltic, Western European (Including Celtic), Eastern European, Northern European, and Turkish languages.

This family was created/inspired from the well-known Baskerville Roman and Italic typefaces created by John Baskerville, the English font designer. We were inspired by the original family sent by Baskerville’s wife after his death. The full Baskerville collection was bought by the French editor and author Pierre-Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais who used it to print - in Switzerland - for the first time the complete works of Voltaire (known as the “Kehl edition” from the "Imprimerie de la société littéraire typographique"). We have used this edition, with copies from 1785, to reconstruct these two genuine historical styles. The font faces, kerning, and spacing are scrupulously identical to the original. This Pro font includes characters for Western, Eastern and Central European languages (including Celtic) and Turkish, with a complete set of small caps, standard and “long s” ligatures in each of the two styles.
