Ponderosa font is a joint work of the typeface designers K.B. Chansler, C. Crossgrove and C. Twombly, who also created Rosewood, Zebrawood and Pepperwood together. As the name suggests, it is so-called wood type. The origins of this kind of typeface can be found in the early 19th century. Called Italian or Italienne, these typefaces quickly became very popular. They are distinguished by square serifs whose width is larger than the stroke width of the characters. When the letters are set together, the heavy serifs build dark horizontal bands. The distinguishing characteristic of Ponderosa lies in its extremely fine figures between heavy serifs. The designers approached the boundaries of the impossible with this contrast. The typeface is reminiscent of the Wild West with its shootouts and heroes as well as of the 1970s with their platform shoes and wild hair-dos. When used carefully in headlines, Ponderosa font will surely attract attention.

Cy Grotesk is the result of combining the clear forms of mid 20th-century European neo-grotesks and the expressiveness of the 19th-century grotesques. A "Petit Four" is a small, bite-sized, French pastry. The font before you is a bite-sized Hanoded original. It is hand made, fun to use and comes with a lot of calories. Like its namesake, use Petit Four sparingly and it will be the cherry on top of your design.

Night Train is a new font built from the ground up; while Night Train may resemble an old classic wood type there are a few lines that make this font a little more modern setting it apart from other wood type revivals. Urbane Adscript is a script companion to Urbane. A monoline semi-linking sans, it has the same number of weights and the same cap height and x-height as the Urbane family, meaning the two can be used together harmoniously. It features swash capitals that can be toggled on or off in the Opentype panel, or chosen individually from the Glyphs menu according to taste. Okoye occupies a liminal space between the bonkers curviness of 19th-century grotesques and the sandblasted neutrality of 20th-century models. Both extremes are nice, but there’s something to be said for some neutrality with character left in place, yes? Okoye comes in 9 weights, Thin to Black. If you’re using it for interfaces, each weight lines up from 100-900 in the CSS specification you already know, with Regular sitting at 400 and Bold at 700. You’ll see what you expect to see without extra font-weight specification. Graffix is best described as a modern classic. A crisp geometric sans serif with just a hint of Art Deco in the roll of the capital A, D & R, and the curvaceous lines of the capital M, V & W. The distinctive tear shaped counters of the lower case a, b, d, p & q give it its essential character, together with such quirky features as the angular descenders of the lower case g and j.

A 1930s WPA (Works Progress Administration) poster promoting national parks depicts Native Americans overlooking the land with the tag line "his hunting ground of yesterday". The hand lettering of that text is reminiscent of Futura Black and similar Art Deco stencil-influenced type designs, but is rendered in an oblique lower case with no capitals. Re-drawn as Sandwich Shop JNL, the typeface is now available in both regular (vertical) and oblique versions.

Mrs Green is a great typeface for short texts, invitations, headlines, logotypes and advertising. We’ve started with a heavy capital G and A. At the beginning it was supposed to be just one fat style (still our favorite). But after a few months we’ve ended up with a family of 20 styles. It has contextual alternates, fractions, four types of figures (old style, lining, superior and inferior), ordinals and a case feature.
