Galle is a very distinctive and specific typeface. It has 356 glyphs that are coherent in their own way. We have two versions to use: regular and italic. It is a display font with very characteristic letters, each of which has been developed separately, but in such a way as to match the rest of the typeface. The inspiration taken to design the cut is Sri Lankan typography - a lot of squiggles and sharp edges, hence the name of one of the prettiest and atmospheric cities in Sri Lanka - Galle.

Canterbury is named after the English cathedral city in the county of Kent, chiefly because its sculptural qualities are reminiscent of ecclesiastical architecture. It's a monumental font in the sense that it is well suited to plaques, certificates and other formal inscriptions. It's also suitable for any application that strives for a sense of elegance and dignity.

This delightful semiscript is based on an offering from a 1930s specimen book from the Mergenthaler Linotype Company, originally called, simply, "Card Italic". Elegant without being stuffy, it is equally “at home” announcing anything from formal occasions to casual get-togethers. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

Road Stencil is a font based on painted street markings. The letters are stretched roughly six times their normal height so that when viewed from an angle, the text is seen as proportional. If you're looking to Photoshop a street scene, this is your font. This is an all caps font, but the letters were copied to lower-case for convenience. In these forms, I've preferred to use horizontal and diagonal dividers instead of verticals which can weaken the fonts readability. This font embodies a pleasant aesthetic while maintaining a coherent and believable feel. Check out the 'Rough' version of this font, which has more of a 'drawn on asphalt' look. The rough version's lower case letters have eroded alternates.

Graphic designers of any nationality and background know very well that the art of composing titles correctly is not easy, Especially when it comes to periodical publications where there is need for both flexibility and graphic coherence. Tablet Gothic was originally engineered as a titling type family, meant to help designers working on publications that require output as hard copies and a variety of digital platforms at the same time. As such, it is a grotesque sans serif that looks to the future of publishing with a clear understanding of its history, and reminiscences that go back to nineteenth century Britain and Germany. Tablet Gothic delivers the sturdy, straightforward and clean appearance expected from a grotesque, but it allows itself a good measure of personality to make it stand out on the page. Its 84 styles –six series of condensation and seven weights in each series plus obliques– guarantee that, whatever the publication format is, there's a Tablet Gothic font that will do the job and perform well both technically and aesthetically. Furthermore, the rounder styles, Tablet Gothic Wide, Normal and Narrow achieved amazing results at very small sizes, producing  a beautiful texture and highly readable text blocks. Hounslow is closely related to Acton in structure, and takes the latter’s simple block construction into the third dimension. Three variants – open, solid and shadow – can be freely mixed in one setting for effect. Originally designed solely in the italic variant, an upright was added by request. A further unreleased set with a range of line weights was later commissioned by the New York Times magazine, and used extensively in their television supplement.

Metropole is an exercise in combing the curvaceous lines of the Art Nouveau with the solid character and simplicity of Art Deco. The resulting three display faces combine the spirit of the 20s and of the thirties, creating lively fun display faces for headings, signage and banners. These characterful faces with clear simple outlines are also ideal to lend a distinctive air to your web pages, or to create a distinctive 'house-style' for lettering.

A set of vintage lettering templates manufactured by Albert Nestler in Germany yielded this Art-Deco flavored typeface with many unusual letter forms. Lettering templates were used for decades by architects and draftsmen prior to other advanced lettering methods to label renderings, blueprints and layouts. Although they are similar to stencils in the fact that the lettering is traced, templates are designed to produce solid lettering with the use of a technical pen.

The cover on the sheet music for the 1922 song "If She Comes from Dixie" had the title hand-lettered in an Art Nouveau style with a semi-stencil effect. It's now available as Nouveau Semi Stencil JNL in both regular and oblique versions. The typeface is not considered a "pure" stencil because many of the letters were made solid; lacking the classic stencil "breaks" at key points found in more traditional stencil designs.

The Bermuda Family was designed by Garrett Boge and Paul Shaw, in the vein of freely-drawn showcard lettering — jaunty, fun and friendly. In fact the drawings were made with a Speedball™ B-series pen nib, the stock tool of the showcard letterer. Bermuda Open is a stroked outline version and its character shapes are repeated in the other three styles, each with a separate fill variant — Solid, Dots and Squiggles.

This typeface appears to be straight out of a science fiction movie thriller. Mingo is a slightly condensed, somewhat vain gothic with thick vertical strokes proudly tapering downward. Capitals which are normally completely round are now square inside with curving outside corners. Lowercase letters carry the same design traits. And, in the capital A and H, crossbars extend on both sides helping give the face a pronounced retro look. Mingo Gothic is a close cousin to Raleigh Gothic and is an excellent choice for book covers and large display settings. Small caps, fractions, and alternate characters have also been developed for greater layout versatility. Mingo Gothic Bold is now available in the OpenType format. Some new characters have been added to this OpenType version as stylistic alternates, historical forms, small caps, oldstyle figures, ornaments, and f-ligatures. These advanced features work in current versions of Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Creative Suite Illustrator, and Quark XPress. Check for OpenType advanced feature support in other applications as it gradually becomes available with upgrades.

Monterey Pop oozes 1960s freedom and optimism, and is based on Tom Wilkes’s poster lettering for the Monterey International Pop Festival in June 1967, the event which heralded the legendary Summer of Love. The fonts include a newly-designed lowercase and a full complement of Latin Extended-A characters. In addition to the normal font, Outline and Thinline versions with matching spacing and kerning are supplied for use separately or overlapped with the regular font for bicolor effects. The Outline font is best for darker lines, and the Thinline font is designed for white and tinted outlines which can tend to halo and appear slightly bolder.

I raise chickens for eggs and meat. I usually buy fertilised eggs online and place them in my incubator, which says that it is 'fully automatic'. Of course I added that rather random introduction to tell you how I came up with the name for this new font... Fully Automatic is a handmade cartoon font: I used a sharpie pen to draw the glyphs onto rough paper. The result is a wobbly, yet quite clean cartoon font. Fully automatic comes with extensive language support and two sets of alternates for the lower case glyphs that cycle as you type.

This font is a very new typeface from 2022. It is based on biro pen writings. The name Hanka is the nick of the designer’s daughter. The family has seven weights (straight and oblique), which are OpenType sets with PostScript curves.
