Ossuary is a font in which each letter is formed using a uniquely arranged pile of skulls. The font was originally designed to be caps only, but small caps were added for convenience. There is now a character for each typeable letter of the American English keyboard. The font was inspired by images from the Kostnice ossuary in Sedlec, Kutna Hora near Prague. (Google it.) Strogino is a modern display pseudo-monospaced sans serif font. Due to the special design and some variants, all letters are easily identifiable though stuck together. Toronto Subway is based on the lettering originally used for station identification and signs by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) in the Toronto, Canada, subway system. The first subway line opened in 1954. However, the original lettering remains unique. The lettering on the original signage consists only of uppercase characters and a few bits of punctuation in two weights: Regular and Bold, introduced in 2004. The Toronto Subway fonts were developed from rubbings of the lettering etched into station walls and photographs of painted signs. The overall style of the lettering is very mechanical, almost naive, yet still having a certain amount of elegance. This style was followed as much as possible in creating the extra lowercase, punctuation and other special characters. The Toronto Subway family was expanded in 2014 with the addition of the Light and Black weights.

Undulate was designed as an alternating-letter font in which two sets of characters alternate. The alternating is done automatically in applications that support the OpenType feature contextual alternatives (calt). Some individual characters look strange in isolation but they fit into a wave-like pattern in which shapes that bulge up alternate with shapes that bulge down. Undulate has monospaced and monoline letters. The letter spacing is very tight to accentuate the ripple pattern. The family includes an outline style that can be used in a layer above the regular style to add color. Undulate was not designed for any particular use but as a challenge to fit letters into a particular geometric shape. The unusual patterns that a result are eye-catching and may be useful for advertising or signage and in other places where one wants attention-grabbing lettering.

Nidex is a caps-only industrial distressed font, ideal for titles, display and headlines, rough and ready, and coming with all the usual accented characters and an extensive set of punctuation. The misprinted effect is central to the font’s design and is built-in, simplifying the work for posters and flyers, and the example above is made with Regular and Condensed. Upper and Lower Case present 2 different sets of characters, and just a few letters are distinguishably more misprinted. Also there’s a full set of ligatures to make double-letter combinations print two different letters rather than the same one twice, from upper case A to lower case z. Whenever I've stayed in Munich my friend Michael Bundscherer and I go on a typographical expedition. When we talk about that, we remember the bygone world of sign painter. On one of the facades of a furniture shop in Munich, you can discover the lettering of the name in golden letters. This one convinced us because of the simple elegance Art Deco. These letters on the facade are in any case the character set, which forms the basis of this document. The missing (especially the lowercase letters and the numbers) were modeled. The "OPEN" called version tries to replicate the 3-D effect. The font is particularly suitable for shorter texts and headlines.

In Vasetters the letters are cut from the shape of a tessellating vase. To get the tessellating effect, the two sets of letters (and numbers and some symbols) must alternate, and this is done automatically in applications that support the OpenType feature of Contextual Alternatives (calt). Vasetters is monospaced and comes in two weights. The regular weight is tightly spaced, which should not be a problem at large point sizes. At small point sizes adjacent letters can be colored differently or the character spacing can be increased. The lighter weight can be used alone or layered above the regular weight to create the effect of hollow lettering. Vasetters is is fun, bizarre, weird, and obviously a decorative display font.

Grandecort is derived from the OakPark family. It has lost the serifs, and has moved to a more traditional look. The upper case letters are a bit heavier than the lower case letters, but overall the letter shapes are fairly conventional for a bold, display face. In later 2018 the family was expanded to 9 fonts. GrancMitStripes was reworked to make four new faces: GrancAllStripes, GrancTopStripes, GrancBottomStripes, and GrancCaps. The last can be used as a background layer for the others. Also, The interior of GrandecortShadow was separated out to form GrandecortShadowInside. It has the same shapes as Grandecort-Regular but the spacing of GrandecortShadow and can be layered with the shadowed style to easily create bi-colored letters.
