The English typographer Robert Harling created Tea Chest in 1939 with the Stephenson Blake foundry. Today, this classic design is available in digital format from Linotype GmbH. Tea Chest is a bold stencil face. The font's narrow letters are all caps, and they sport small, slab serifs. Harling's design was most likely reminiscent of the old industrial lettering painted onto boxes and wooden crates that used to be shipped all over the world on the high seas. Westside was designed by Adrian Frutiger in 1989 and is a kind of wood type. It is reminiscent of dusty streets, Wild West heroes and swinging saloon doors. The origins of this kind of typeface can be found in the early 19th century. Called Italian or Italienne, these typefaces quickly became very popular. They are distinguished by square serifs whose width is larger than the stroke width of the characters. When the letters are set together, the heavy serifs build dark horizontal bands. Westside is a particularly decorative typeface which will have a marked effect when used expertly. It is perfect for headlines in larger point sizes, which will highlight its special character.

Brush Up is the cool handpainted typeface you are looking for. Alterglam is one of my all time favorite fonts, although I didn't think so at first. The font appeared as a modification of my other default font. But over time, the font turned into an independent work. Moreover, the font began to live its own life and constantly demanded attention. So at the same time the Alterglam font is the most thoughtful and polished font in my collection. It is my pleasure to present this wonderful font set for exquisite designs. In the set there are 20 font sizes, which provides a rich typography. If you need a strict, but at the same time artistic font, Alterglam is the font of your choice.

The 1930s era French textbook on lettering "100 Alphabets Publicitaires déssinés par M. Moullet" featured a hand lettered chamfered alphabet with slab serifs reminiscent of sports lettering. Although intended for advertising and signage inspiration, only a partial lower case was illustrated along with the capitals and no numbers or other characters existed. These had to be created from scratch. The finished result is not only a bit of classic lettering from the past, but the font also doubles as a typeface with a sports look and feel. A traditional (rather than stylized) M and N are located on the solid bar key and the broken bar key respectively. Old Sport JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Briston is a bold vintage style serif font with strong character and soft features. Briston is equipped with Swash, Stylistic and Titling alternates as well as with Standard and Discretionary Ligatures. All these features can be accessed by OpenType controls or straight from Character or Glyphs window. The font is PUA encoded so you can use the extra glyphs in most graphic design softwares. In addition Briston has a small set of ornaments and strokes that are found by turning on Swash -feature and typing characters 1-9. Briston is and efficient typeface for headlines, logos and display use. You can also try using Briston all caps in really small sizes by adding some spacing.

Panorama KG is a black display font. The starting idea was to design letters that stand on the horizon. For that reason, the descenders are extremely short, and the elements of the letters lying on the base line are cutten, the horizontal strokes are lowered ... These characteristics should reduce the spacing and emphasize the compactness of densely composed titles and shorter text forms. Panorama KG was designed specifically for headlines, logotypes, branding, and similar applications... Due to the characteristics that are in function only in the bold version, it did not make sense to make more styles or family, but Panorama KG can be combined with many other serif and sans serif typefaces.

»Brute Sans« is a classic Sans typeface that looks like it has been designed by a chainsaw. »Brute Sans« looks really crude only in big sizes, the smaller the font gets the more it looks like any other Sans typeface. »Brute Sans« prints very fast, because there are no curves to compute, but that is just a side effect. »Brute Sans« is the typeface you should use if you need a really different look, since Sans typefaces tend by design to look very similar. This one is different. I always wanted to do this font, but then other projects crept up so I pushed »Brute Sans« to the end of the line. Enjoy!

Wilderness X is a font name that has a very wide wilderness concept. This font has a very large variety of characters, including isolated characters with strong definition and small text. It is also a font which can be used as a random display font. There are also many other options, such as: different stroke thickness and size, change the glyphs and so on A wilder a wilderness, the more rewarding the journey...I love the idea of exploring and staying on the edge, getting dirty and making my path is challenging. Clearface Gothic first appeared in 1910, designed by Morris Fuller Benton, the world-famously prolific typeface artist. In addition to Clearface Gothic, Benton also designed classics like Franklin Gothic, Century Expanded, and many other types. Clearface Gothic is a sans serif face with light forms displaying the Zeitgeist of the turn of the 20th century. Distinguishing characteristics are the open forms of the a" and "c," the arched "k," and the upward-tilting horizontal stroke of the "e." The relatively narrow typeface, with its open inner white spaces, is extremely legible even in small point sizes. There is no accompanying italic. This digital version of Clearface Gothic was made in 1984 by the Linotype Design Studio."

Goodchild Pro is a pragmatic text face, equipped for sophisticated academic typography. The face has a large x-height, as there is little point in adding to the stock of rangy “book” Jensons. Despite this departure from the archetype, in other respects Goodchild is true to the original letter forms in its tight fit, modulation of stroke contrast, and manipulation of x-height and serif size. Jenson’s tiny tittles and diamond-shaped periods have, however, been relinquished. The finish is not the antiquing that one often finds in Renaissance revivals.

Hot Salsa is a calligraphic script font inspired by the classic, fairly well-made brush letters from the casual sign painting style, mixed with the fast and gestural tags you can find on walls all around the world. This is a fresh font that allows you to play with its numerous swashes, alternates and ligatures to make it feel more sober or a little flirty depending on your needs. Hot Salsa started with a brush pen and a lot of paper. These were later re-traced onto many layers of tracing paper with the intention of maintaining the brush pen and handmade feeling while making the structure consistent to ensure its readability and performance.

Bureau Grot is now accepted as the essence of tooth and character in an English 19th-century sans. The current family was first developed by David Berlow in 1989 from original specimens of the grotesques released by Stephenson Blake in Sheffield. These met with immediate success at the Tribune Companies and Newsweek, who had commissioned custom versions at the behest of Roger Black. Further weights were designed by Berlow for the launches of Entertainment Weekly and the Madrid daily El Sol, bringing the total to twelve styles by 1993. Jill Pichotta, Christian Schwartz, and Richard Lipton expanded the styles further, at which point the family name was shortened from Bureau Grotesque to Bureau Grot; FB 1989–2006

Fellbaum Grotesk is a condensed typeface with both grotesque and cursive/humanist attributes. Novecento Carved is a layered font family. It is designed to be paired with the 2013 version of Novecento Sans , used as base layer. Each glyph of each style of Novecento Carved (around 18.000) was manually reviewed and adjusted to overcome the limitations of an automatic interpolation algorithm. The minimalism of its construction makes it super easy to achieve a bas-relief or engraving effect just switching luminosity values among the two layers (carved and sans). Novecento Carved was selected and displaying on Typodarium 2018, the 18th of June. The design of the Jeunesse font family derives from a study of primers which the designer undertook earlier in his career. Jeunesse was designed with the intention of combining excellent legibility and character recognition with the ability to create compact, distinctive words and lines while maintaining basic flourishless letterforms. The sans serif style is pre-dominant in this design, but serifs or rather parts have been added where necessary, mostly at the top left hand parts of the characters, to aid readability. Use Jeunesse as a text and display face. There are also fully sans serif and slab serif versions available which can be used on their own or mixed with each other and the parent fonts.

It's time for a party! A party with monkeys, or a party AS monkeys! :) The danish term "Festabe" is a partyanimal, and definitely in a positive way! And that's the spirit of this font! It has that happy attitude, that could boost your designs in a happy and positive way. Besides legibility, the font is superlegible, even at very small sizes. But try looking at the letters at a LARGE size, and you will notice the smoothness of each letter! To ensure the letters don't get too alike, I've added several (slightly) different versions of each letter. In fact, every letter has 5 different versions, and these automatically cycles as you type!
