Salome is a revival, normalization and elaborate expansion of a 1972 film face called Cantini. The original film type, released by a tiny independent outfit called Letter Graphics, looked like it was hand drawn with little consideration for consistency in essential lettering flow measurements, like angles, stroke widths, and vertical metrics. All these issues have been resolved in this digital version, and the original character set, including the whole lot of alternates, was entirely redrawn and expanded to include even more alternates and many useful ligatures, as well as extended support for Latin-based languages. Combining elements of early 20th century art nouveau with common 1960s and 1970s signage and poster lettering flair, Salome uses curls and curves to wave its fantastic shapes in a most hypnotic dance. Pigalle Swing is a very elegant script from the 1950s which I found some time ago in a similar but not so elegant version on Place Pigalle in Paris. I designed lots of alternate capitals and lowercase letters to make the font more usable and interesting. Enjoy!

Duo Heavens Children Font is a script font that contains over 450 alternatives, is very easy to play, and the best part: You also have lots of illustrations to play with, not to mention various arrows you can toggle at the start and end of each word!

Duddy is a “friendly” sans-serif typography designed by Eleonora Lana and the Letritas team. The shape of Duddy was created based on sketches that looked after carrying the concept of kindness as far as possible, keeping always in mind the readability and functionality of the font. In the stage of brainstorming, the team started listing things that were friendly to the touch or sight, such as a candy gum, or marshmallow, to become acquainted with the intended goal. Although slowly, as the letters were being created, the objects associated with the forms were not satisfactory, since when forming words a special personality of its own appeared. By reconceptualizing everything, the personality of the letter the team wanted to work with had to be redefined. Thus it went from "caramel" to "teddy bear", from "teddy bear" to "puppy" and from "puppy" to "dolphin". And Duddy is the perfect name for a dolphin. Duddy was a sound idea: friendly, intelligent, social. Once the concept was nailed, the design of graceful and “soft” shapes started. Almost chewable, almost huggable, as if composing words was a game. Duddy has a slanted version with "real italics". These italics are slightly more condensed than the regular version, in order to give it a different text texture. The typeface has 9 weights, ranging from “thin” to “heavy”, and two versions: "regular" and "italic". Its 18 files contain 729 characters with ligatures, alternates, small caps, oldstyle and tabular numbers, fractions, case sensitive, and unicase figures. It supports 219 Latin-based languages, spanning through 212 different countries. Signage is not made up of grid-based dots. They are optical corrected and there is always the same distance between the dots, with the aim to create more harmonic letterforms. The dots also vary gradually in size to reflect the thickening and thinning of strokes, giving the letterforms a sophisticated overall look. Signage comes up with 3 weights and 3 italics and is perfectly suited for logos, brands, magazines and special for signage systems and mobile devices. The language support includes Western, Central and Eastern European character sets, as well as Baltic and Turkish languages.

The Hybi5 font family can be described as a “crossover” between Antiqua, Grotesque and Brushscript with characteristics from all of this genres. My aim was to design friendly and versatile fonts, which can be used for headlines or slogans as well as for some longer texts. To make the fonts useful for as many languages as possible, I added a lot of exotic accents. All styles contain the whole “Adobe Latin 3 (CE)” character set plus a few letters from “Adobe Latin 4”. A lot of ligatures prettify the look of the fonts. Alternate uppercase letters in the script style might do the same. If you are a professional designer, you will surely appreciate the thousands of kerning pairs within each style, which will make your work easier. I recommend to set Kerning to “metric” and spacing to “zero” in your layout app. Back in 2015 I worked on the first sketches of “Hybi5” using Adobe Illustrator. “Fontself Maker”, an extension for Illustrator, was used to convert the drawings into font-files. This tool can only create “OTF” font files. For this reason there are no “TTF” versions. It’s not the first font I have ever made, but the first to be distributed commercially.

Overbold is an unapologetic display typeface inspired by an illustration in Eric Gill's Essay on Typography (p.51), in which he demonstrates �how not to make letters�. In particular, he shows that increasing the weight of the downstroke in a serif �A� without structural adjustments yields an absurd, �overbold� result. I found the letter so charming that I decided to blatantly disregard Gill's wisdom and draw an entire overbold typeface. Here is the result. I'm not sorry.

Ziro expresses itself boldly and spontaneously. It consists of two different sets of capitals to help create natural handwriting effect. The letter "I" is treated like a lowercase "I" and the letter "O" has a dot in the center. The lowercase variation does not have a dot in the center for those less adventurous applications. This rough-and-tumble typeface is inspired by lettering in the Book of Kells. Celtic knots can be found in the ASCII circumfles (^), ASCII tilde (~), florin (ƒ) and section (§) positions. School Hand is a font designed for use with young children. There is the Dotted version, which is designed to be traced over with a larger dot to show where to start and automatic lines. Then there is the Regular version which can be used for reading or can be printed light grey for tracing. School Hand Cursive is a cursive font which is designed using contextual alternates. Contextual alternates cannot be activated in the Myfonts preview window so please see the gallery images which show how the smooth flow of letters is achieved.
