Vintage Price Tags JNL comprises three sets of numbers in both ribbon, circle and star patterns which, when combined will produce point-of-sale price elements. The designs were re-drawn from examples found in an old wood type catalog, and are now collected in digital format. Ribbon-style numbers are found on the upper case keys. A through J have the large numbers, K through T are the smaller, underlined numbers. The remaining upper case keys contain the dollar sign, cents sign and the phrases "each", "for", "dozen" and "pair". On the lower case, the circle set of combination numbers are on the following keystrokes: The keys a through j are the left side semi-circle numbers and the "k" key is a blank left side semi-circle. The l through u keys are the right side semicircle numbers and the "v" keystroke is a blank right side semi-circle. The star set is on the standard numbers keys for the left side of the star, with the right side characters on the corresponding shift keystrokes for the number keys. In following the original design examples, a cents sign follows the numbers on the right side of the circle or star sets. The lower case w through z contain a left side star blank, a left side star with $1, a right side star blank and a right side star with small double zeros (to comprise a star shaped price tag for $1.00).

Haettenschweiler™ is a very condensed, very bold alphabet. Haettenschweiler was derived from a more condensed typeface, called Schmalfette Grotesk, first shown in the early 1960s in a splendid book called Lettera by Walter Haettenschweiler and Armin Haab. Hancock Bold Condensed is slab serif typeface. The original Hancock design was produced by the Keystone Type Foundry, circa 1903; a condensed version was added circa 1917 by Lanston Monotype. Distorted fonts are great but are mostly not very practical - 360 is an attempt to create a simple distorted font that can be used far beyond a few logos or headlines. Each 360 character averages roughly half the number of sharp angles of a regular sans serif. This gives it an unusually fresh and timeless appeal and creates a dynamic presence across body text that is very legible and compact without looking overly condensed. 360 was chosen as a name because it can be used as an everyday font, all year round, and because 360 has so many unusual angles that don't conform to normal font conventions. 360 also happens to be a cool number: 360 makes a highly composite number. 360 is also a superior highly composite number and a colossally abundant number. A circle is divided into 360 degrees for the purpose of angular measurement. 360° is also called round angle. 360 is a convenient standard since, 360 being highly composite, it allows a circle to be divided into equal segments with each segment measured in integer degrees rather than fractional degrees. 360 is the sum of a twin prime (179 + 181). A year is roughly calculated as 360 days.

The family is named after the town of Barnsley, a coal mining town in Yorkshire, England. In 1960, there were roughly seventy collieries within a fifteen-mile radius of Barnsley town center, however the last of these closed in 1994. Barnsley Gothic has a straightforward, industrious, no-nonsense feel, much like the town it shares a name with. Always ready to do the heavy lifting in any design project, Barnsley Gothic is the quintessential workhorse font family.

Kaybuts consists of three styles: sans-serif, serif, and semi-serif, each of which includes italic typefaces. Thinner and thicker weights look best when handled in relatively large font sizes, such as eye catchers and headlines. The middle weight is best suited for smaller text. Incidentally, this typeface was designed under the influence of, or with Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein: or The Modern Prometheus in mind.

Aegypti 7 is a digital revival of Font No.7 or Egyptian Narrow - a Soviet display face cast for hand composition. I settled on the 12pt version as a basis for my digital version, as larger sizes added too much contrast to an otherwise quite orderly slab serif. The Soviet Font No.7 itself was based on an older Semi-Egyptian narrow cut before the revolution.

DicSans is a square sans-serif typeface, inspired by Aldo Novarese’s Eurostile, it was meant as a sort of contemporary "open" Eurostile. It is a semi-custom font, designed and expanded according to costumers’ requests, since 2004 up to 2013. For this reason it has many glyph variants (up to three variants per lowercase glyphs and numbers, special smallcaps etc.) and wide language coverage.
