Wappenbee is a 28 pixel bitmapped dingbat system for building crests for the modern, noble life. The dingbat allows you to build memorable crests like the skatepark crest, the smelly sock crest, the mixtape crest and many more. The Raphael of Flowers is what they called Pierre-Joseph Redouté a couple hundred years ago. The Belgian native became famous in France, where he painted floral watercolors for both Marie Antoinnette and Empress Josephine. But what cemented his legacy was his perfection of a stipple engraving technique that brought his art to the masses. Botanical Scribe is modeled after the neat, cursive hand-inscribed legends on these antique prints. Because it simulates handlettering, the font retains a warm, organic quality not seen in fancy modern scripts while remaining both elegant and legible. This double-wide wonder is based on Oswald Cooper’s original drawings for the typeface Cooper Fullface. ATF rejected this offering because they felt that several of the letterforms, and particularly the numbers, were a little too wacky for the mainstream. By now, you know that such an accusation is a "Please don't throw me in the briar patch" plea to yours truly. So, here, proudly and true to their designer’s original intent, are two versions of a really fun font. Both versions of this font include the complete Unicode 1252 Latin and Unicode 1250 Central European character sets.

Fazeta Sans is a perfect companion to serif typeface Fazeta. Two light weights were added, so the complete typeface consist of 14 fonts (7 weights + matching italics). The fine gradation lets you choose perfect weight for any type of project. Every font have 1140 glyphs – just like the serif version and contains the same features, so use and combining of whole typeface is very comfortable. Also fixed kerning allows better comfort for eyes by reading and shortens the length of the text. I tried to preserve sharp and cold impression from serif version, but some straight lines had to be curved due to the natural limitation of sans typefaces (for example the upper arch of “f” is shaped more smooth). However it keeps extremely open form. A little playfulness was left at the end of letters “k, K, and R”, but if you want, this can be eliminated by using a rigorous SS01 feature. Serifs were here transformed into a small yaw from main stroke and so enlive the monotony of sans kind of types. Also slight cutting the top of the letters helping to surprisingly vivid final impression. Samuel Welo was a sign painter who had published in the 1920s and again in 1960 his “Studio Handbook – Letter and Design for Artists and Advertisers”, prolifically hand lettering all of the type style examples within the pages of the publication. In 1930 Welo also published “Lettering - Practical and Foreign”. Choc font is the work of French designer Roger Excoffon, based on the traditions of Japanese brush calligraphy, thick yet graceful. Choc light font was designed by Phil Grimshaw, who had to redraw many times in different weights before finding one that worked as a text face and remained true to the original.

The Revla family just keeps expanding! This is Revla Slab. It has the same exuberant charm as its siblings ( Revla Sans and Revla Serif ) with a touch more chunk. OpenType contextual alternates make for text that is lively and bouncy, without the monotony of obviously repeating letterforms. It’s shamelessly fun, but pretty serious at the same time. BiBi font family is designed by Naghi Naghashian. This font family is developed on the basis of specific research and analysis on Arabic characters and definition of their structure. This innovation is a contribution to modernisation of Arabic typography, gives the font design of Arabic letters real typographic arrangement and provides more typographic flexibility. The Roundup family was inspired by fonts from the late 19th century, though it is not based on any one of them. Roundup-Caps was the first of the group to be constructed. It has two sets of upper-case letters that have minor differences. It has reverse contrast, that is, the verticals are thinner than the horizontals. Unlike most of the "Old-West" fonts with reverse contrast, the serifs are not square but have an odd, rounded shape. Roundup-Regular replaced the second set of caps with lower-case letters. A bold style strengthens the vertical elements so that it no longer has reverse contrast. Both the regular and bold styles have matching oblique styles. Finally, there is a hollow version with a shadow to the lower right. This shadowed style has had its inside taken out, creating RoundUp-ShadowInside. The spacing is the same as RoundUpShadowed so it can be layered over RoundUpShadowed to easily create two-colored lettering.

This typeface was created as a personal project. Inspired by places like Chattanooga and Berkley, I wanted to create a bespoke typeface family for the US Virgin Islands. I noticed that the typeface Berlin Sans was in use all over the islands, in signs, logos, even on the side of police cars. So I built this typeface from the ground up with the goal of updating an old tried-and-true font into a family with versatile potential.

The type's characters are monospaced, but they do not look ridiculous and do not cause discomfort as it usually happens. This could only be achieved by carefully working out each glyph. The type also deliberately uses the contrast between geometric strokes and smooth transitions. It adds to his liveliness and character. SK Cuber is inspired by the monumental architecture of our days. It is brutal and extremely stable, which makes it an excellent font for working with posters, headlines, etc.

One design sparks another. As Alejandro Paul experimented with the strokes and curves of the monoline script Business Penmanship, he discovered interesting new forms and shapes that didn't fit the Spencerian theme of that typeface. These forms simmered in Ale’s subconscious over the next three years, during which time he visited New York City, pored over rare type specimen books in the New York Public Library, and explored Brooklyn’s neighborhoods. Brownstone, the face born from these explorations, is an original 21st-century design, yet one subtly infused with historical and cultural references -- keen observers might spot influences from decorative typefaces of 19th-century foundries. And just as faces from that era were influenced by contemporary architecture, the frames included with Brownstone echo the ornate iron railings of Park Slope’s row houses. (There’s also a slight 1960s vibe to Brownstone, of novelty swash-sans photocompositing faces, that can be played up at your discretion.) Influences aside, Brownstone has broad appeal to modern audiences. A soft, monoline sans-serif, with elements of Swiss geometry (see the ‘k’ and ‘x’), its marriage of highly legible, draftsman-like letterforms with decorative swashes and ornaments reflects the old-meets-new aesthetic of the DIY craft culture seen in Brooklyn and other urban centers. It’s ornamental but unfussy, romantic but understated. Brownstone includes character sets for Latin-based languages, including Western and Eastern European, Baltic, Turkish, Maltese, Celtic and Welsh. Over 1500 glyphs, including small capitals, swash characters, alternates, and ligatures, in both Light and Thin weights. Ornamental frames are also included in both weights. A light hearted comic and clumsy typestyle inspired by an old pulp novel called "The Astronaut".
