A heavy duty block-shadow font derived from Sentinel Sten Type, Maus' inflexible, near-featureless block-like shapes give the impression of great mass and solidity. Maus is an example of minimalism in type design, using a minimum of sculpting to elicit the essence of familiar Latin forms. Two sets of complimentary letters allow designers to pick and choose combinations for letter fit, for their symmetric values, or to create a particular look or feel to suit the subject. Obviously Maus has great potential for signage, posters and billboards, and screen-printed garments.

This is a font that will fit in the "hard to read section" because it may not be super legible at first sight - that is because of the negative space. But when you combine the two layers (Layer and Box) the letter suddenly appears very legible! Play around with your favourite colour palette while adjusting the transparency in order for the colours to blend, giving a really nice handcrafted look! Zaatar is a dynamic Arabic typeface abstracted from a mixture of Arabic Ruq’ah and Nastaliq, the slanted baseline with a geometrical contemporary touch, manifest a strong contrast between thick and thin strokes, present a retro-futuristic impression yet an Arabic calligraphic seriousness. and it comes with five stylistic sets giving it a variety of typographic possibilities. Zaatar means thyme, which was first cultivated in Mediterranean Levant, then used by ancient Egyptians for embalming. That's why we found it a perfect name for the first collaboration between Boharat (Cairo) and Hey Porter! (Jordan).

Sadness is based on some experiments during Felix Braden’s stay at the Trier College of Design: "I played around with Fontographer’s blendfonts-feature (a type design tool to interpolate fonts and to minimize effort and expenditure of large families) with some files from a close designer. Since the basic elements derived from extremely varied fonts without any similarities, the concluding shapes first turned out to be rather fragmentary. Hasan Ghada is an Arabic display typeface. It is useful for titles and graphic projects. The font is based on the simple lines of Modern Kufi calligraphy with new ideas for square shapes and geometric feel. It supports Arabic, Persian and Urdu. This font was designed in 2002 and the first version was released under name KactTitle in the typefaces group of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), which supported the Linux operation system. In 2007, I developed this font and created five weights of it.

Approach Mono is the fixed width version of Approach. A utilitarian low contrast font, a bit mechanical but plenty of character. This version shares its main features with the original one, but it has a more prominent and visible punctuation. The more obvious use of a mono would be in tables, programming code or “in progress texts”, but not just that. Approach Mono can be used in the modern communication, bringing an aseptic voice to brochures, advertising, identities and any other piece of communication. For more details see the PDF.

Aircrew is a neutral, humanist sans-serif family optimized for signage applications in display sizes. Its large x-height enhances readability and its letterforms help distinguish characters from each other, increasing legibility. Aircrew has vertical terminals, low contrast, and short ascenders and descenders. The weight variations between uppercase and lowercase characters provide the perfect balance and its slightly condensed proportions allow more words to fit in less space. There are two different versions of Aircrew, positive and negative. This avoids optical effects that cause uneven thickness and unsteady readability in either light or dark backgrounds.

Montesori is inspired by the economic forms and large x-height with a condensed style and a humanistic-grotesque typeface forms. It is a perfect option for editorial projects, branding, logos and packaging. Montesori comes in a variety of nine weights (Fine, Extra Light, Ultra Light, Light, Regular, Semi Bold, Bold, Ultra Bold and Black) with its two styles (round and italic) classified in two forms, Basic and Alternative. Sébastien Truchet designed a modular typographic system during his last year in the School of Fine Arts of Besançon. The system is made of a unique grid and 6 modules which are the components to build several typefaces. The most radical is the "2-2". The last one is the "10-12". This is the 4-4. It is built into a square grid. Four modules in width and in height. This font proposes to you two appearances : the caps are blackest and the small letters are more open.
