This font is a collection of simple calligraphic ornaments suitable for invitations, gift tags, and anything that can benifit from a "spoonful of sugar" visually. The frames font uses the same calligraphic elements as PR-Swirlies-01, but has them combines in ways which form an elliptical cartouche. Many of the elements can be used in a modular way to create frames of varying length.

Monadic is a modern singular monospace display font. The typeface is made from groups of single basic triangular geometric units. Monadic is inspired by structured and organic geometry. The name is derived from the Ancient Greek μοναδικός (monadikós, “single”), from μονάς (monás, “a unit”); it is the adjective of monad, an elementary individual substance which reflects the order of the world and from which material properties are derived. Monadic is great for display work, logos, structures, architecture, technology, biology, sports, monograms, quotes, headings and posters.

Franz Kafka’s manuscripts have always been a source of inspiration for designer Julia Sysmäläinen. At first she was just interested in literary aspects but later she noticed that content and visual form can not be separated in the work of this ingenious writer. Analyzing Kafka’s handwriting at the Berlin National Library, Julia was inspired to design the typeface FF Mister – by now a well known classic. Over the years, FF Mister K became a handsome typeface family and even produced offspring: the Josef K Patterns. Some of Kafka’s most expressive letterforms were the starting point for these decorative ornaments. How do the Patterns work? Outlines and fillings correspond to the uppercase and the lowercase letters on your keyboard. You can use them separately or layer them on top of each other. If you write a line of “pattern-text” in lowercase and repeat it underneath in uppercase you get a row of fillings followed by a row of outlines. Now you can color them and then set line space = 0 to get a single line of layered colored ornaments. Alternatively, activating OpenType / stylistic set / stylistic alternates will also unite the two lines to a single layered line. The design idea for this condensed sans serif stencil font was inspired by a post-World War II brass stencil spotted in an online auction. The United States was assisting Europe with much-needed goods, and the text in the middle of a “stars and stripes” shield used for marking the shipping containers read “For European Recovery supplied by the United States of America”. It was the first line (“For European Recovery”) that became the working model for Supplier Stencil JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Sanitation JNL is a bold Art Deco sans design inspired by some stylized hand lettering on a 1930s-era WPA (Works Progress Administration) poster and is available in both regular and oblique versions. The topic of the poster was "Your home is not complete without a sanitary unit" and that was recommended by the State Department of Public Health. A "sanitary unit" is the formal name for what rural folks called an "outhouse", and it's presumed the target group were homeowners not hooked up to major sewer lines such as in those rural areas.

Stadia is designed around a series of modular units: quartercircles, teardrop shapes, squares, circles and variations thereon. The versatility of these basic shapes is such that a teardrop, for example, can represent a looped bowl, as in the lower part of the a, while also representing a curved arc at the top of the same character. The strict grid is broken for the T and the Y, and the placement of accents. The alternative – basing a T, for example, across three units – though rational, is far less aesthetically pleasing. As always with type design, one has to know when the internal structural rules should be bent for a more beautiful result. The horizontal lines appear to travel through the letters, bursting into stars in the counters of lower-case characters such as the o and p. The outline version is weighted to the same width as the gaps between the units.

An original design by Richard Isbell for ATF; in exaggerating the tapered stroke introduced eleven years earlier in Hermann Zapf’s Optima, Isbell created the first flareserif to achieve popularity in the United States.

P22 Music Pro is a unique font system that allows the user to compose music with text editing and page layout programs capable of OpenType features and contextual substitutions. The OpenType features speed up the composing process by adding chords, contextual accidentals (sharps and flats), contextual key signatures and time signatures. P22 Music Pro covers a wide range of symbols and notation used in traditional western music composition. Pickfair JNL is based on the vintage wood type Vandenburgh Tuscan (circa 1867), and gets its name from the mansion owned by Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford—two of the founding partners of United Artists movie studios.

This script font was inspired by the type most commonly used during the period 1300s to 1500s. It is a compromise between historic truth and contemporary use. We particularly thank very much the Paris Sorbonne University professor who gave us freely and patiently numerous and valuable advice and criticism for this work. This font includes “long s”, naturally, as typically medieval, a lot of ligatures as “ff, ffi, fi, ft, sd, pp...”, some special glyphs frequently used as abbreviation in Latin texts during the medieval era for replacing letter groups such as “qui, qua, que, quia, quam, per, pri, pre...”, but also a few final and initial characters and final addable loops. Instructions for use, added, helps to identify them on keyboard. It can be used for web-site titles, posters and fliers design, editing ancient texts or greeting cards, all various sorts of presentations, as a very decorative, elegant and luxurious font... This font remains clear and easy to read over a wide range of sizes. Its original medieval size is about 18/24 points.

Energia Pro is yet another new, charming and whimsical profonts script typeface designed by Ralph M. Unger. Its design is based on Arno Drescher’s Energos from 1932, but Unger completely redesigned the typeface, extended and completed the character set and digitally remastered the font. Energia Pro is a joining handwritten-like script well suited for comics, book titles, and the like. Standard at profonts, Energia Pro contains a large set of manually created ligatures and glyph variants to make it a perfect OpenType Pro connecting script.

Totem Forms is based on a series of aluminum and rubber wall constructions currently showing in Europe and the United States. Mirek's work has been shown internationally for many years and this is his first foray into type development.

Although wood types are found throughout the world, most of the decorative one originated in the United States. This one would work well on theatrical playbills, and advertising for tourist railroads, wild west shows and concerts in the park.

Laramie Pro is a new profonts script typeface family supplied in the OpenType Pro font format. The character set covers about 1,500 glyphs for the complete Latin character set (West, East, Baltic, Turkish, Romanian), and a huge number of handmade ligatures and stylistic alternates to make it a perfect OpenType Pro script. Laramie is a very distinguished, modern and versatile script font.

This circa 1910 European face was introduced into the United States by a German type foundry traveling salesman during the great depression of the 1930s. We have used it quite successfuly in sizes as small as 10 and 12 point.

Seleniak's outlines are based on the logo of the eponymous MSX video game, also created by its designer. Thus, all ratios are multiples of the typical 8x8 px video character unit, giving the typeface a characteristic appearance and interesting fitting properties.

Modesto is a loose-knit family based on a signpainters lettering style popular in the late-19th and early-20th centuries. It evolved from the lettering I used for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Logo. The Modesto family was not planned. It just happened, a few fonts at a time over about fifteen years. In 2014 four new Italic fonts were added. There is a downloadable MODESTO USER MANUAL PDF in the Gallery section for this family.

Pescadero Pro is named for the valley in California's rugged central coast. Early Spanish settlers called the area Pescadero (fishing place) as they observed it was a favorite fishing spot for the local natives. Designed by Steve Matteson, Pescadero is delicate and detailed for attractive documents but robust enough for serious reports and titles. The design is based heavily on calligraphic inscriptional lettering. Pescadero Pro's OpenType features include proportional figures, tabular figures, old style figures and initial swash caps.

This began life as a European font that was copied in the United States by Bruce's Type Foundry in 1885. It was caps only and had a fine line "three-D" shadow. We scrapped the shadow, added a lower case, and voila!

A blast from the past, this timeless typeface is based on Marble Heart, first released in the United States by Farmer, Little and Co. in 1866. Both versions of this font support the Latin 1252, Central European 1250, Turkish 1254 and Baltic 1257 codepages.

The cover of a 1932 edition of “Sunset magazine” (a publication for homeowners living in the west and southwest area of the United States) featured a lovely Art Deco serif alphabet that is now available as Western Suburbs JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

Basic Commercial is a family of fonts based on historical designs from the hot metal type era. First appearing around 1900, these designs were created by type designers whose names have not been recorded, but whose skills cannot be overlooked. These typefaces were popular among groups and movements as diverse as the Bauhaus, Dadaism, and the masters of Swiss/International-Style typography. They influenced a variety of later grotesque fonts, such as Helvetica and Univers. Basic Commercial was distributed for many years in the United States under the name Standard Series. The typeface worked its way into many aspects of daily life and culture; for instance, it became the face chosen for use in the New York City subway system’s signage. The Basic Commercial family members have a clear and objective design. Their forms exhibit almost nothing unusual, but remain both lively and legible nonetheless. Perhaps for this reason, Basic Commercial’s design has been popular with graphic designers for decades.

Versteeg was originally designed as a font that would work at a singular pixel level. In the spirit of this reduction, Versteeg was designed with an x-height of 3 units with capitals at 4 units. This extreme simplification is what makes Versteeg unique. After designing the square version of the typeface, creating a series of circular versions was a natural evolution. These versions have a resemblance to braille, but don't actually have a relationship with any braille characters. The width of each face is carefully designed to make sure that the letters will align perfectly in multiple lines. Versteeg is, for the most part, a display typeface, and isn't recommended for large blocks of text.

Royalist Pro is an expanded OpenType font based on "Secretary Hand" from the time of the English Civil War, circa 1632. This Pro version includes over 500 glyphs with alternate characters, ligatures and full Western and Central European Characters sets.
