The Vtg Stencil series of fonts from astype are based on real world stencils. The UK No. 76 design was derived from authentic stencil plates from Great Britain. During the last ten years of his life, Hans Eduard Meier (dec. July 17, 2014), together with Max Schläpfer, developed an innovative concept of a new Swiss Schulschrift (handwriting script for schools) called ABC Basisschrift®. His life’s work is crowned by the fact that now, since the fall of 2014, and beginning in Lucerne, this new didactic will replace the old Schnürlischrift in Switzerland. In contrast with the Schnürlischrift, the idea is to guide a child in three steps to learning a personal handwriting. ABC Schule 1 is for the first grade, ABC 2 starts to introduce the first connections and ABC 4 Ligaturen is designed with many ligatures to serve as a good example for handwriting. ABC Schule is also available with ruling and for visually impaired students.This version of the Basisschrift®, available from here, is the original version by Hans Meier.

Paper Cube font family is the first font I've created. I unconciously started to draw letterforms with straight horizontal and vertical lines contained in a square. Soon this experiment became a 3d outlined display family of 3 weights, each one of them gaining depth and articulating into planes. Designed in Cuenca (Spain) in 2011.

Non-alphabetical font Astrosym is a collection of astronomical, astrological and other cosmogonic signs and pictograms. It contains useful symbols of planets, zodiac signs, lunar phases and even the pictures of aliens. The basic letterforms of this typeface were found in a lettering book, Rotalución Decorativa, published in Barcelona in the 1940s. Add a lowercase and a few flourishes suggested by a hand-painted sign seen at a neighborhood tavern on Staten Island, and you have a seriously fun face. To add even more spice, the font also contains alternate characters in the Logical Not, ASCII circumflex and tilde positions. It also contains a few alternate characters in the ASCII circumflex and tilde positions to perk things up. Both versions of the font contain characters to support all major European languages.

Sometimes, especially after a long night of drinking in a bar or bodega, you do not want fancy, sophisticated food. You want to bite into a big, juicy burger. TpBarPaco is exactly that. A straight-forward, big and bold typeface. Like if Paco has done it himself. VLNL TpBarPaco, designed by Martin Lorenz of TwoPoints, was inspired by the vernacular type found at traditional spanish bars in Barcelona. It’s simple and friendly shapes make it the perfect typeface for HUGE typographic solutions.

Bungehuis font was modeled on the lettering found on an Amsterdam art deco building from 1931. This building on the Spuistraat, also called "Het Bungehuis", used to house offices, but is now part of the University of Amsterdam. In 2015 it had its brief moment of fame, when students, demanding more democracy at the University, occupied it. Bungehuis is a heavy art deco font and would look great on posters and in headlines. It comes with a rather democratic range of diacritics.

The first release of XLaserTrain, a toy train font, was constructed by taking bits from the four LetterTrain fonts. Version 2, released in late 2010, added a great many cars with holiday and party themes. The bold version has smoke over the cars and you may have to adjust line spacing (leading) to have it display properly.

Uncertainty 2010 Edition is an intensely textured typeface carefully rendered by hand. This font is faded with a chalk-like texture. Please be aware that working with this highly detailed font may slow some graphics software as it requires more memory. Uncertainty is extended, containing West European diacritics and ligatures, making it suitable for multilingual environments and publications.

For the angular, blocky look, the future is Ferrocarbon! Designed primarily as a title font, I created it way back in 2013 and promptly forgot about, so I'm releasing it to the world now. it's meant to be used for your tech and sci-fi uses, but don't let us stop you there!
