Isbellium is a sans serif version of Dick Isbell’s Americana type, designed in 1967 and the last type cut in metal by the American Type Founders Co. (ATF). Isbellium retains the large x-height, open character, wide stance and elegance of Americana, but with a quieter voice and polite authority. Isbellium is a display face with broad Latin support along with small caps, fraction support and other typographic niceties are included in the ten font family.

The object of Grover was to join two distinctive typeface designs: the basic European gothic of the late nineteenth century and the ‘rounded’ style found in 1960s America. The result is a clear, friendly face with subtle yet unforgettable features. Named after Grover Washington, Jr., the jazz saxophone player, Grover is geometrically constructed and yet very human in appearance. Sans and slab serif variations, true italic weights, as well as small caps afford Grover versatility and unique display characteristics.

A Donkeyman is a person who is in charge of a ship’s engine room. I didn’t know this, but when I was looking for a nice name for this font, I sort of stumbled upon it. Donkeyman font is quite a useful font: it is a handmade, all-caps font that comes with two sets of alternate glyphs. The alternates cycle as you type, creating a ‘random’ effect. Comes with extensive language support, including Sami and Vietnamese.

Mensura Slab font family has been designed for Graviton Font Foundry by Pablo Balcells in 2013. It is a modular, geometric typeface with subtle rounded angles that provides a soft, pleasant appearance. It has been conceived to be primarily a display typeface, but given its clarity it can also be used for composing short and intermediate length texts. Mensura Slab consists of 8 styles and 4 weights plus italics. Each containing small caps and several alternate characters.

Endurant is a font inspired by futuristic conceptual arts from the late-20th century. The question it answers is, "What if someone in the late 20th century were to imagine a futuristic font?" It started in 2007 with Chennai, the first of a three-part series of sans that I envisioned with slab serif counterparts. Each font would differ from the others in how the stem terminals were expressed. The initial font was extremely well received, and a revitalized and remastered Chennai made its appearance two years later, complete with new weights and new, novel OpenType features. Then came Madurai, a variation of Chennai based on the same core, only without the rounded stems. Chennai’s rounded stems made it distinctive and great for headlines but left it lacking appeal as copy--a problem that Madurai easily solved. And now comes Sangli, the final iteration of my original 2007 vision. Sangli is a happy medium. Like Chennai, it’s great for headlines--but not too distinct for copy. Sangli keeps the same core structure as the other two, but new less sharp forms give this latest font a friendlier look that’s more versatile than the original Chennai and less formal than Madurai. The font includes a whole range of six weights from light to black, along with condensed and extended options as well for a total of 54 fonts. There are plenty of OpenType features, including small caps. Alternates include normalized capitals and lowercase letters that include stems for when you want a more traditional look or when you’re writing copy. Sangli also supports over 70 languages that use the extended Latin script. Use Chennai, Madurai, and their slab serif variants interchangeably with Sangli, too, for even more options in your work. “Hey, look at me!” cried the new advertising typefaces. With the nineteenth century and the industrial revolution came an esthetic revolution in type design. Brash, loud, fat display faces elbowed their way into the crowd of book faces, demanding attention. Those who admired traditional book types harumphed and complained. Robert Thorne had fired the opening round with his Fatface. With the cutting of Figgins Antique, the battle was well and truly joined. Job printing came into its own and it seemed like everything changed. The world of printing had been turned upside down and the gentile book-type aficionados recoiled in horror much as the rural landed gentry recoiled at the upstart middle class shopkeepers and manufacturers. William Savage, approvingly quoted by Daniel Berkeley Updike over a hundred years later, described the new display faces as “a barbarous extreme.” These were exciting times. According to Geoffrey Dowding in his An Introduction To The History Of Printing Types, “The types which we know by the name of Egyptian were first shown by Vincent Figgins in his specimen book of 1815, under the name Antique.” Of course, dating the design is not quite as simple as that. Nicolete Gray points out that Figgins used the same “1815” title page on his specimen books from 1815 to 1821, adding pages as needed without regard to archival issues. As a result, there are different versions of the 1815 specimen book. In those copies that include the new Antique, that specific specimen is printed on paper with an 1817 watermark. The design is dated by the 1817 watermark rather than the 1815 title page. Figgins Antique ML is an all-cap font. This typeface is for bold statements. Don't waste it on wimpy whispers of hesitant whimsies. And please don't use it for extended text -- it will only give someone a headache. Think boldly. Use it boldly. Set it tight. Romper is a slightly narrow handwritten sans in four weights and it is perfect if you want to convey a casual and friendly feel. It was designed with the idea to be used on comic books, mobile applications and children’s books, thus it has a Dancing Baseline version (Romper DB) and a Slanted version (each of them in four weights as well). The family is equipped with 450+ glyphs, has Latin Extended and Cyrillic Support (both Russian and Bulgarian) and a lovely set of extras. The family includes a lot of discretionary ligatures and alternate letters for more variety in the design. Protest is inspired by protest posters and the power of the people! Each glyph is written by hand with a Sharpie® Magnum marker on big sheets of paper. It is designed to fit more into the poster and still be legible for the media from a block away. It's bold, slightly condensed, and neatly drawn with love and conviction, with the warm imperfection that comes from being hand drawn. Protest consists of over 1,430 glyphs. This includes 300 alphanumeric glyphs with 3 contextual alternates each, 20 stylistic alternate glyphs, and 20 protest themed dingbats. Contextual alternates will rotate through automatically when OpenType features are enabled, giving it more human irregularity. Protest supports 219 latin-based languages, using Underware’s Latin Plus glyph set.

Sometimes it's easy to find a name to fit a font design, other times it's a struggle because of the sheer number of digital fonts available and the number of names already taken. Classification JNL stretches a point to arrive at its name. The attractive sans design was found as a hand-lettered title on a piece of vintage sheet music called "My Hawaiian Souvenirs". During the 1940s, the popular mode of travel to other countries was by steamship. Steamship passengers were assigned their accommodations by the type of passage they booked (such as First Class and Tourist), thus they were in various levels of classification. This aside, Classification JNL is a nice alternative to "standard" condensed fonts for design projects.

The name Saluzzo is given to this font in honor of Giambattista Bodoni (1740–1813). Bodoni was born in the town of Saluzzo, Cuneo, Italy, and died at the age of 30.
