You may already have guessed it...Litter Funk is experimental typography. Some letters are fat blocks, others have stars, stripes or dots, some are funny and funky while others are plain weird - but all in all, they leave a really nice confusing effect when used. Due to the contextual alternates, each letter comes in 5 different versions, and automatically cycle as you type. Well, the font was fun to make - I hope you have fun using it! :)

Galdana font family is a Roman serifs typeface, whose most relevant characteristic is the slanted angle of its true italic, at seventeen degrees. Its design was inspired by one of the most prominent American calligraphers of the last century, the book designer Oscar Ogg. Galdana contains 18 styles: starting from thin to ending in a fat typeface. This family is completed with multilingual support and a set of OpenType features such as stylistic alternates, swashes, and ligatures.

Typefaces with very thin verticals and fat, square serifs were popular in the 19th century for display. Hollywood helped associate this style with the Old West, but reference books identify some of it as Italian style. WyomingSpaghetti, part of an extended family of typefaces, has a name which combines these two associations. Most typefaces of this type are very condensed, but this one is not. The letter o is nearly circular, which is rather unusual in this style.

Designed over three years after the second World War, and published in 1949 by the Nebiolo foundry, Normandia was Alessandro Butti’s take on the fat face. As it usually was with Butti’s designs, this face effectively injected a catchy yet expertly calculated calligraphic spin into its source of inspiration — which was the essentially geometric/deco, thicker model of Bodoni’s very popular aesthetic. The metal Normandia saw some widespread use for a handful of years after its publication, not least because of the multitude of sizes in which it was available. It stepped out of the limelight by the mid-1950s, due to a combination of the popularity of cold type and Nebiolo’s refusal to retool its faces for new technologies. It was copied by a few small film typesetting outfits on both sides of the Atlantic, but never really found its way back to the mainstream. By the time computer type became the norm, Normandia was pretty much relegated to a type historian’s collection of anecdotes. This digital update of the classic series revives and refines the three original metal designs (Tonda/Regular, Corsiva/Italic, and Contornata/Outline) and expands the character set to more than 600 glyphs per font, including small caps, six types of figures, fractions and nut fractions, a full set of f-ligatures, some stylistic alternates, and other fine typography niceties.

Madromit(ma-do-ro-mi) is a somewhat nostalgic display font. Do you remember computer advertisements in the 80s and 90s? Yes, it is the most excited period in the history of computer. We call the design in this period Primitive Digital Design. Madromit is, so to speak, the revival or reconstruction of the primitive digital type in the period. The structure and elements of this font are very simple and the key features are geometric shape and simple griddy design with rounded corners, oval bowls, and right‐angled joints which we used to see in the primitive period. I have always liked the word ‘quite’ - you can stick it in a sentence and all of a sudden that sentence looks quite sophisticated! Quite Something may not be all that sophisticated; in fact, it is a rather messy font. But that’s where the fun begins! Use it for your children’s book covers, toy packaging and posters. Suchow was developed from a hand lettered storybook title by Willy Pogany. It's designed to give the feel of the Far East, with character shapes reminiscent of oriental brush lettering. The look of the characters is typical of lettering often used around the turn of the century for oriental-themed advertising and decoration, but not seen very often in contemporary use. The full version includes an expanded character set.

It's time for a party! A party with monkeys, or a party AS monkeys! :) The danish term "Festabe" is a partyanimal, and definitely in a positive way! And that's the spirit of this font! It has that happy attitude, that could boost your designs in a happy and positive way. Besides legibility, the font is superlegible, even at very small sizes. But try looking at the letters at a LARGE size, and you will notice the smoothness of each letter! To ensure the letters don't get too alike, I've added several (slightly) different versions of each letter. In fact, every letter has 5 different versions, and these automatically cycles as you type!

Every single character in Nipey is unique! Meaning that no characters is a copy of another. All accented characters therefore are hand-drawn and unique. For example, the letter "ñ" is not a copy of 'n' with a diacritical tilde - and this goes for all accented characters, as well as the ordinary ones! Besides that, Nipey has got autoligatures for doublelettered lower- and uppercase, as well as numbers. But that's not all! Nipey also has got a full set of alternate lower- and uppercase letters! Talk about a unique font, huh! You will need to use OpenType supporting applications to use the autoligatures.

Besley Clarendon ML is our version of the Clarendon registered by Robert Besley and the Fann Street Foundry in 1845. Besley Clarendon ML represents a significant change from the slab-serif Antiques & Egyptians that had become so popular in the prior three decades. Like Caslon’s Ionic of 1844, it brackets the serifs and strongly differentiates between the thick and thin strokes. Besley Clarendon is also what today is considered a condensed face, as a comparison to the various contemporary Clarendons will show. Robert Besley’s Clarendon was so popular that many foundries quickly copied it, a fact that caused him to complain vigorously. The reason it was so widely copied is simple ó it was extremely useful. It provided the attention-getting boldness to highlight a word or phrase, yet at the same time was compact and easier to read than the fat faces and antiques of the period. It wasn't until sixty years later that the concept of a typeface family of different weights was developed with DeVinne and Cheltenham. Until then, Clarendon served as everyone’s all-purpose bold face. It can be used for ads, flyers, headers or even short text. Don't leave home without it. SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB is a typeface inspired by the capital letters on the bass drum in the Beatles' Sgt Pepper album cover. The original lettering was hand painted by fairground artist Joe Ephgrave during March 1967 in an art deco style he called 'futuristic'. The font completes the uppercase, adds a lowercase, and includes a full complement of over 400 characters. SGT PEPPERS OUTLINE and SGT PEPPERS OUTLINE FILL are two fonts with matching spacing and kerning that can be overlapped for creating bicolor/multicolor effects and faux drums. The Outline and Outline Fill fonts do not contain lowercase characters, instead they comprise two weights of outline capitals as painted on the Sgt Pepper drum. The uppercase letters are in the wider style from around the outer edge of the drum, and the lowercase keys deliver the more condensed 'Lonely Hearts' inline style from the middle of the drum. The uppercase Y has been flipped to produce a more conventionally acceptable character with the thicker diagonal arm on the left. However, Joe Ephgrave's reverse Y (with inline) is included in the Outline fonts at the Section keystroke § (Alt-0167 on Windows). A simplified vector image (mono) of the bass drum without lettering is also included within the Outline fonts at the PlusMinus keystroke ± (Alt-0177 on Windows).

TagBanger WADE1 is the first in a short graffiti font series. This series will showcase the hand-styles of various mature street artists that Okaycat is working with. This first release highlights the style of one such graffiti writer, WADE1, who has an eclectic writing style after many years proliferating street art. Long-term graffiti artists develop their own style over their careers, spending as many endless hours honing their letter-forms as any full-time professional typographical artist. Style, individuality, and originality are everything. These attributes are key to the graffiti artist's tao. A writer who copies, or "bites" loses respect -- their work will be painted over or "crossed out" by all other writers. Okaycat's TagBanger series aims to demonstrate just how widely these individual styles can diverge, likely due, at least in part, to the social pressures of a community that ruthlessly punishes copycats. WADE1's tags were transformed into vector format from a generous sampling of their most recent scrawls. Our TagBanger series may not be composed of the most legible or beautiful fonts, but we imagine there are uses for these whenever highly unusual handwriting is needed. TagBanger WADE1 is extended, containing the full West European diacritics & a full set of ligatures, making it suitable for multilingual environments & publications.

Toulouse is a city of culture. It has long nurtured literature, music, dance, theater and concerts. It is therefore an entirely appropriate name for an elegant and classical french-style font. Toulouse, the font, is classically calligraphic with a sharp-edged look to the character terminus that speaks of skilled penmanship.
