Inspired by Rudolf Engelhardt's Journal-Kursiv, released by Ludwig Wagner, Leipzig, in 1913, Kursivfraktur was freshly drawn and redesigned, and comes as one of those rare beautiful italic blackletter fonts. This font contains the letter long s which can be reached in two ways. Either you use the OT feature historical forms, or you type the integral sign [ ∫ ] on your keyboard. There are two graphic elements implemented, a corner element and a straight element for framing. CA Cape Rock, first released in 2007 and now reissued and expanded, is an impressive display typeface. Designed with a fat Clarendon and wood type in mind, the typeface’s bold and distinctive forms add spice and personality to any design that requires a strong display aesthetic. CA Cape Rock is particularly enjoyable for use in headlines and ideal for highlighted text. With already two dozen existing ligatures and many OpenType swashes, the new edition also received letters for use in the Central European and South Eastern European area. Cleaned and harmonized paths, a completely new kerning as well as a newly added Italic (Slanted) style are also among the new features.

The name Type Warmers JNL traces its lineage to small catalog booklets issued by Indianapolis' Cobb Shinn for his line of letterpress cuts; of which a few can be found included within this typeface. Presumably type could "warm up to" these stock illustrations and work hand-in-hand to deliver the message, hence the "Type Warmers" sobriquet. Originally known for illustrating many attractive and comical postcards of the early 1900s, Shinn moved into the field of purchasing stock art and redistributing them as electrotypes or "cuts", the predecessor to today's digital clip art. A number of the cartoons he sold can be found in the Shinn Kickers JNL font.

ITC Tempus is the work of British designer Phill Grimshaw. He claims that every calligrapher's aspiration is to draw perfect roman capitals with a pen, but admits that this is extremely difficult. For this typeface, Grimshaw used a fountain pen on cheap, porous paper and, of course, the ink bled. The resulting forms are classic but their rugged edges deviate from the perfection of roman type. And Tempus Sans is just Tempus with the serif surgically removed, yet the proportions of the characters work nicely," says Grimshaw. Because of its rough quality, the typeface works best in larger point sizes, yet maintains its characters even in smaller sizes.

Young Baroque was designed by Doyald Young, and the font first appeared in the ITC library in 1984. It is a delicate and elegant typeface, whose basic forms are those of baroque script. The generous spirals adorning the capital letters give the font its temperament and contrast beautifully with the small, heavily slanted lower case letters. The flowing, graceful characters create an overall image of aristocratic elegance and dignity. Varese is a geometric and modular typeface inspired by early 1900s Art Deco posters. Its heavy weight is excellent for headlines, display, or large body text. The lowercase is similar to the uppercase, yet many of the lowercase letters have interior spaces and several have some variations on the form (see H/h, E/e, F/f, I/i, J/j, L/l, N/n, T/t). The lowercase also has two alternate glyph sets that are half size and align with cap height. One of the alternate glyph sets has an underline and the other set does not.
