Any typeface has two intrinsic elements that does´t work at the same levels, form and appearance. These peculiar visual behavior generate a wide range of graphics games. At reading level, we observe a uniform gray spot, but large bodies allows us to appreciate their shapes and counterforms. Geometra is a new font family from Swedish type designer Bo Berndal and the T4 font foundry. Somewhere between a slab serif and a sans it has a crisp, geometric feel and is both 20’s retro and modern. Its soft curves and openness makes it very readable in smaller print. The powerful serifs give the font lots of character in larger sizes. Geometra comes in three weights, regular, semibold and bold.

Tobias Sergel was the greatest Swedish sculptor and draughtsman of the 18th century. The typeface that carries his name has a sculptural quality, with the white line decorating the stems and curves of the letters. "However," says Bo Berndal, the designer of Sergel, "the general shape of the typeface is timeless". The Sergel fontpack includes four fonts: Regular, Italic, Semibold and Semibold Italic, and is an OpenType typeface for both PC and Mac.

Linotype Zurpreis is a family of two typefaces created by the Swedish designer Bo Berndal in 1999. The letterforms in these faces are made up almost entirely of curves, giving them a slightly handmade, inky, or psychedelic appearance. The round characters dance and bounce along their baseline, lending a fun and uneven quality to text set with the fonts. Linotype Zurpreis is best used in sizes above 12 points, either for short passages of text, or headlines.

MuskitoCaps is a Tuscan (split-serif) font that is rather narrow and a bit awkward. It is caps only, though the lower case differs from the upper case(the lower case lacks the mid-stem spike). The family has three styles, plain, shadowed, and shadowinside. The last has the same shapes as the plain style but has the spacing of the shadowed style so it can be layered with the shadowed style to easily produce bi-colored lettering.

Schlange is a rich typeface with rounded terminals. The family includes five sans serifs and five slab serifs in weights from ultra light to bold. Schlange’s personality is determined by an open aperture and quite large lower case characters in comparison with the upper case set. Schlange’s personality is open and friendly, giving a text it’s used for a soft, warm appeal. Schlange will work well as a display type (think titles, short magazine call-outs, ad banners, and such), but it’s not a good choice for extensive bodies of academic text. Available in numerous weights, the typeface provides rich opportunities for mixing and matching and is great for typographic compositions. These qualities make Schlange a dream type for a packaging designer. It will feel at home in design for cosmetics or sweets, postcards, children’s books and menus.

Sybilla is a robust, but friendly, humanist slab serif well suitable for broad range of design projects. A true workhorse and superb text type family, Sybilla was especially designed with legibility in mind. Its soft almost cursive shapes and generous internal spaces define a slab serif that is easier on the reader’s eye and help establish a feeling of warmth and friendliness. The type family consists of eight weights with complimentary italics. While the Light, Book, Regular and Medium weights are great performers for body text, the Thin, Bold and Heavy weights make an excellent choice for headlines. Majora is a slab serif typeface which derives its name from a Portuguese historical toy manufacturer. Smooth and shapely without a trace of fat. A seductively handsome devil without the attitude. This typeface wears a tie at the office, but keeps a pair of sneakers and a beach volleyball in the car. David was promised Saul’s daughter in marriage after he defeated Goliath. However, while Saul procrastinated in delivering his elder daughter for marriage, David fell in love with the younger daughter Mikal (1 Samuel 18:20,28). Mikal was the only wife who was reported to have loved David. Her name, Mikal, meant brook, or stream, a symbol of the water of the word. Mikal is a versatile and elegant script font; well suited in the area of magazines, web pages, packaging, logotypes and advertising, etc. This font can be used as body text for its good legibility and accurate kerning. This is a series that takes unfinished typefaces that were either previously ideated but not realized or were close to completion but left incomplete due to dissatisfaction with certain aspects, and brings them to completion. "Oorrnnoott" was originally a project named "Petitgothiquemignon" or "Sangoth". In the process of refining "Kropotokin", several ideas were incorporated into the design. Well, I say "incorporated," but it was designed on a whim, as usual. After all, it was started around 2005, and I don't usually leave notes or anything (which isn't the best habit), so I don't remember the emotions or thoughts behind its creation. Please consider this typeface as a very typical sans-serif font, as that is what I was aiming for when I excavated it this time. Please use it for body text, headlines, eye-catching designs, or whatever you like.
