“Hand Stamp Play Rough Serif” is a rough and dirty serif Font with authentic & real stamp look. Original Hand Stamped. A–Z, a–z, and 0–9 are each 3× different forms (every letter/glyph has two additional alternate characters) and is intended to show the hand-made nature and the vibrancy of the display font. The different pressure (velocity) of the stamp on paper creates a liveliness in the typeface. Ligatures like ae, oe, AE, OE, ff, fl, fi, fj, ffl, ffj, ffi, and additional logotypes like and, the, by, tel fax, web, www … and a Versal Eszett (Capital Letter Double S) give the Font more life and shows that despite their retro-looks works with modern OpenType technology (from ❤ love is, from luck will ✤ … ). Cirkel is a contemporary font family based on circles. Its geometrical and unusual forms gives us a nice feel of modernity and humor. Created by Jarbas Gomes, Cirkel family is composed by 3 weights (Light, Medium & Bold) and its respective ornamented fonts made of patterns (Stripes Light, Stripes Medium & Stripes Bold). The fonts also have a great set of ligatures and swashes that can be accessed in softwares with support to OpenType features. Cirkel is indicated for hype designs, on titles and short texts.

Roadblock JNL is the solidified and slanted version of Patriotica JNL --a stars and stripes font based on lettering by the late Alf R. Becker as commissioned by Signs of the Times® magazine. Nature is fond of stripes. Animals have them, plants have them and the rainbow has them. Besides being beautiful, stripes in nature have various origins and functions. But only Homo sapiens gave them symbolic meaning. In the American flag, the 13 stripes symbolize the 13 colonies that declared independence from Britain. In the French “Tricolour” flag, they represent Paris and the king of France. And in Russia’s “Georgiyevskaya lenta,” they symbolize the death and resurrection of St. George, the dragon-slayer. The font family COLORADO , named after the beautifully striped Colorado potato beetle, can be used to construct all kinds of symbolic or just beautiful messages. And thankfully, you need no OpenType diploma to do this. To get your texts multi-striped and multicolored, follow this simple procedure: Write the message with one of the COLORADO fonts and apply a color. Then copy and paste in place, and apply a second font and color. Repeat this again if wanted – and the masterpiece is done. COLORADO ’s language support covers about 100 languages. It has a Western European, a Central European and an Extended Cyrillic character set.

FourJuly contains three patriotic fonts that might be fun to use in July. They are also very hard to read, but perhaps not as hard as the somewhat similar letters in the fonts of FlagDay. FourJuly A has square, blocky letters with star interiors. FourJuly G and FourJuly H add diagonal stripes. FourJuly G and FourJuly H can be layered on top of FourJuly A to create bicolored letters. Stolzl is the text companion of the display family, Stolzl Display, which was optically tailored to perform as a functional addition to this concept steered font collection. Stolzl Text is a modernist interpretation of the first release, stripped of the primary stylised attributes, it is highly readable in print and on screen. This started out to be a font with an Egyptian hieroglyphic look, but took a detour just beyond the first pyramid. A young lady we know said many of the letters reminded her of the hooks on a bra strap. Whatever.

Chenko is a nod to Alexander Rodchenko the Russian Constructivist artist and designer whose poster work is characterised by its stark, stripped down typography and bold, geometric graphics. It was truly revolutionary in its day, and continues to be influential in ours. Chenko is my own take on his deceptively simple letterforms, and designing a font without a curve or a diagonal (okay I cheated on a few details like the O-slash and A ring characters) presented some interesting design challenges!

Beneath the dominant signifier of identity, a surprising dimension of Bodoni is revealed—its core architecture, stripped of the famous high contrast cloak. Further subverting typographic norms, a monoline of even width (in all but the heaviest weights) here describes capitals, lower case, and serifs. And yet a certain quaintness is evident; this is, after all, both deconstruction and historical fiction.
