This font set was developed for the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and their 1999 Monet exhibition, Monet at Giverny: Masterpieces from the Musée Marmattan. Monet Regular is a fairly straightforward script font with an undulating thick and thin stroke. Monet Impressionist is a semi-legible script which can be used for decorative rather than communicative purposes. Monet Sketches features 26 icons related to Monet's imagery.

Madita started with the idea of an upright sans script. Unlike other script typefaces, some of the characters look fairly constructed. The endings are either vertical or horizontal. On the other hand there are the swashes of a flowing script woven into the sans stroke that create an interesting tension. Madita is surprisingly legible, even in smaller sizes. The upper case letters even work in all caps.

It’s jaunty and flaunty and up to no good! It’s a child born of fairly odd parents and always looking for the good kind of trouble. It'll get you out of the red and into the pink like a panther pawning diamonds! ITC Eras font is the work of French designers Albert Boton and Albert Hollenstein. It is a typical sans serif typeface distinguished by its unusual slight forward slant and subtle variations in stroke weight. ITC Eras is an open and airy typeface inspired by both Greek stone-cut lapidary letters as well as Roman capitals.

Beware: Here be Dragons! It Be Dangeroues to Venture Yonder! This warning, inscribed on a rock at the entrance of a cave in an inaccessible mountain in the far north of Scotland, provided the inspiration for the font DragonFyre. While I have not seen the actual rock myself, I have based the font on an accurate drawing of the original inscription. DragonFyre speaks of lands beyond our ken, of wistful faerie kingdoms, of dark happenings and white magic. Use it at your peril, for its very use will conjure up worlds long forgotten, places of faeries, elves and hobgoblins, of ogres and giants. Those who read texts written in this font may well have their lives strangely changed. I have included a complete character set of 242 characters; upper and lower case; as well as all accented and special characters. All characters have been carefully letterspaced and kerned. For maximum dramatic impact I suggest you use combinations of both upper- and lower-case characters.

GRUND is a new fontographic adaption of a remarkable 1920s epigraphical find in the city of Leipsic. This old well-known European trade fair hotspot struggled with a severe shortage of exhibition space around 1920. The solution was to dig deeper into the matter – literally – and 1924 the world’s first underground trade fair exhibition hall was opened right under the city’s central market square. After several changes of use during the past decades the sophisticated Art Deco entrance structure (architect: Otto Droge) was re-opened in December 2013 as a gateway to a new subway rail track. – The original brass lettering of the UNTERGRUNDMESSHALLE MARKT has been retrieved – and served as the inspiration for this new and unique font. Jolly is a cheery, little display typeface that is suitable for headlines and informal body-copy. Being slightly slanted to the right, jolly has a fairly positive straightforward appearance which makes it pleasant to read. Its various Open Type features, such as swashy alternates for the capitals, ligatures and stylistic alternates as well as the small caps and the extended language support make it versatile and open for different applications.

Originally designed for American Type Founders, Goudy drew inspiration from the classical old style faces for Goudy Old Style. Round characters have a strong diagonal stress, ascenders are fairly long but descenders are very short. Goudy bold was introduced in 1920; this was designed by Morris Fuller Benton. This typeface has been particularly popular in America where it is extensively used in advertising, book jackets, for labels and packaging.

A flat pen script font face with a fairly elegant look to it. The design of this script was intended to be used anywhere a well legible script is called for. A heavy stout script is the perfect display face which has a 30s and 40s flair that will add class. Suitable for applications such as captions, fashion headlines, packaging, invitations, cards, posters, ads, book jackets and covers.

Frusta is an earnest family of slab-serifs softened by tapered serifs and slightly squared curves that give it a warmth often absent in other slabs. Monoline and with a geometric foundation, this three-weight family includes true italics that can be their own headline face. The airy, yet sturdy construction makes this perfect for small text, infographics, and headlines of all sizes.

Coupler is a sturdy text face with low contrast, airy counters, and a strong baseline for smaller sizes and extended reading. Aladin is a calligraphic art deco face with an eastern touch, designed by Angel Koziupa and produced by Alejandro Paul. Casual, airy counters and friendly terminals give it an advantage as a packaging font for exotic coffees and teas. It also serves quite well on posters and book jackets where relaying the famous sense of Eastern hospitality and playfulness is a must.

Gaston is a complete solution for teachers and pupils. A wide choice of styles allows to create varied and homogeneous documents. Designed to give the impression of letters written with a brush with coherent lowercase, giving a fairly black overall color. Ideal for display work and wherever an informal, handwritten style is required. For use in posters, newspapers and magazines, advertisements, signs and many other informal applications.

Phraxtured is a fairly accurate rendition of the letter forms used in an old German-language publication that I found in a trash heap. However, several characters in fraktur, such as the k, y, x, and S, look bizarre to English-language readers, and I have created more comfortable alternatives. The Phraxtured-Deutsch version has the more traditional characters. The ShadowedInside style is designed to be used in layers with the Shadowed style.

A Bloomer is a crusty loaf of bread with rounded ends. I don’t know why I chose this name, but it may have to do with the fact that my wife signed up for a bread baking course. Bloomer is a rounded, hand made cartoon-ish font. It will look especially good on product packaging, but any design in need of some authenticity could do with a bit of Bloomer! Comes with ligatures and a light dusting of alternates.

Reverie is a cheerful band of letters that bounce across the page and get together to create words in three weights. Generous spacing and a modest x-height project an airy typeface that's open but not frail. Quirky without being too whimsical. Use the regular weight for surprisingly readable text or put the light and bold weights to use for decorative headlines and titles.

Darby came about while playing with a loaded round-tipped brush. The letters remind me a bit of signage I remember seeing at county fairs in my youth. It's a casual comfortable font that lends itself well to outlining and drop shadows for emphasis. Not intended for long copy, it would work well in headlines or in signage where one is wishing to attract attention.

Fundevogel is a Brothers Grimm fairytale about a boy who was found in a tree. Shababa is a hand-drawn 3-D font. The linework is fairly relaxed, mostly smooth with some distressed edges. Since the beginning, “Histories” has been inspired by the shape of the letters displayed on the cover of fairy tale books or animated film covers. Likewise with the naming of the font "Histories" so that the message of the letters is conveyed. And this stylistic combination should also be reflected in the lowercase set which also allows to open up a spectrum of possible uses. Basic calligraphy represents a solid basis for the development of lowercase glyphs, ensuring proper interaction with uppercase letters. “Histories” features multiple ligatures that combine the playerful structure with a more attractive feel. With glyphs, it provides a wide range of uses across ligature combinations, alternate marks, pre-caps, assortments and connectors; each of which can be accessed via Open Type.

Eldridge is reminiscent of the sort of clear functional slab serif that was often to be seen in the 19th century. It is the plainer cousin of our Bamberforth family and the two partner together very well—Bamberforth for the eye-catching headines and Eldridge for the essential support. It is another new face, which harks straight back to Victorian times and, as such, is ideal for giving anything a 19th century feel-especially posters, book headings, dust jackets and invitations.

Kurkuma (Turmeric in Dutch) is a spice I use in all of my curries. And I love curry! It's not more than fair to name a font after my favorite ingredient, so here you have it: Kurkuma. It is a unique and somewhat bizarre font with both an angelic and a diabolical side. I wouldn't set a whole text in it, but it does look great in headlines, posters and websites.

Creating Halla was a bit unusual for me since I started out creating the italic version first and that inspired the name Halla, meaning to tilt in Icelandic. It is also a fairly common female name in Iceland. “Halla” is derived from old Norse word “hallr” = 'flat stone, rock' or 'sloping, leaning to one side' Halla is a true italic inspired by handwriting and mechanical type. The combination of Light and Italic makes Halla ideal for advertising, branding, signage, packaging and editorial design.

Inspiration of the typeface Dalloway comes from Virginia Woolf's novel "Mrs. Dalloway". Some calligraphic features are incorporated to add humanity to this typeface. Because Woolf's writing style is very sentimental and personal, which somehow reminds me of the feeling of reading someone's dairy. Some other features of this typeface takes inspiration from flowers and plants, which is another influence from the book. Flower appears in the first sentence of the novel and works as an important symbol throughout the whole story.

Under the commission of the American Century Magazine"", Linn Boyd Benton designed a new text typeface in 1894 with a design typical of the Neorenaissance movement in typography. Morris Fuller Benton produced various interpretations of this font for American Typefounders and the companies Linotype, Intertype and Monotype quickly took up the typeface. New Century Schoolbook font is a very legible font, fairly narrow and with relatively little stroke contrast. This font is from Morris F. Benton and appeared in 1915.
