Rolade is a Rounded Condensed Sans. Designed for Display purpose. Firstly designed on late 2015 as an All Caps typeface based on a personal project. Rolade has a Rounded and cute character with condensed proportion. It also come with some alternates to give more flavour and variation. Supports a wide range of latin based language.

Hasta Luego means ‘see you later’ in Spanish. It is something you say when parting, but it doesn’t really mean you’ll have to see each other again. Hasta Luego is a happy, all caps font. It’s a bit random, a bit wobbly and it comes with some interesting discretionary ligatures for you to play with.

Clairveaux is based on samples of an ornate 12th century calligraphic style. It has some interesting features, including small caps which combine some characteristics of both traditional upper and lower cae character forms. It's ornate enough to look decorative, but not overwhelmingly complex, and looks remarkably attractive when used for titles in a large size.

As you can see, Nefertiti is a font based on ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and could be classified as a fun-font. I've always been really interested in Egyptology and a couple of years ago I thought it would be great to be able to write in hieroglyphs. I started to study them but soon realized it would take me a long time to be able to do this. Still, I was determined to find a way around this problem. At some point I came up with the idea of rearranging and reforming the hieroglyphs so as to resemble the English alphabet. During this process I tried as much as possible to preserve their ethos and appearance. However, since they are designed to write in English with, it's obvious that they are not always going to look like the real thing. Despite this, I'm really happy with the final result and I think many Pharaohphiles who just want to have some fun will be also. The only difference in this font between lower and upper case characters, is that the latter are set between two parallel, horizontal lines. These are for use with brackets (motif ends) to form cartouches - elongated ovals for names and/or titles. Try typing the following using the upper case in the sample text box. e.g. (JOHN} The zigzagged vertical lines at each end, separate the motifs from the hieroglyphs. Note the three types of ends/brackets. These lines are also used to separated words from one another and to give a more authentic appearance. So pressing the space bar gives a zigzagged line - not a space. They can also be used at any point within a cartouche to separate first and last names or titles. e.g. ; (JOHN;BROWN} walked straight home after work. Notice the eye glyph (period/full stop) at the end of the sentence. This is the only punctuation mark which can be used within a cartouche, e.g. after Mr. or to add a more Egyptian appearance to a name or title. e.g. (MR>;JOHN;BROWN} Parallel lines dividing hieroglyphical inscriptions and writing into rows or columns are very common. To incorporate these in a body of text, simple use the underline U. e.g. (OSIRUS) and {ISIS} were important gods of the ancient Egyptians. (HORUS) {HATHOR} and [RA],the sun god, were also highly revered deities. The punctuation marks available are shown below. . , " " ' ! ? "where is the king?" The font also includes the numbers 0-9, the following mathematical symbols and the hash sign(Scarab beetle). Once again, I've tried to make them look as Egyptian as possible; whether I've succeeded or not is open to debate. e.g. + - x / = # This font is named after Akhenaten's beautiful wife, Nefertiti, who's image can be seen in the graphic on this page.

Finocchio (yes, we know — wink) has the playful, round shapes of a French Ronde with the sharp angles of Italian Futurism. Today's digital font technology has allowed renowned font designer and calligrapher Hermann Zapf to realize a dream he first had more than fifty years ago: to create a typeface that would come very close to the freedom and liveliness of beautiful handwriting. The basic Zapfino font family, released in 1998, consists of four alphabets with many additional stylistic alternates that can be freely mixed together to emulate the variations in handwritten text. In 2003, Zapf completed Zapfino Extra, a large expansion of the Zapfino family. Designed in collaboration with Akira Kobayashi, Zapfino Extra has a cornucopia of new characters. It includes exuberant hyper-flourishes, elegant small caps, dozens of ornaments, more alternates and ligatures, index characters, and a very useful "forte" (bold) version. Some years ago I designed Chalfont as a sans face. All the characters have a top heavy look when viewed straight on, however, as most type is read at an angle with the top further away than the bottom, this top heavy look is diminished. Chalfont Roman, although re-drawn with some alterations, is still basically the same face but with a top left serif giving more emphasis to the top heavy characteristics. I have also added a set of non ranging numerals.

A revival and major expansion of a 1926 Ludwig Wagner Schriftgiesserei typeface called Titanic, Lexington is the ultimate art deco expression of the high times of signage and theater during the first half of the twentieth century. Big feminine caps and cozy direct minuscules make for a unique combination rarely found in other deco faces. Topped off with the humorous and quite suave tall and pointy ascenders and descenders of the alternates, Lexington makes for a versatile and uniquely eye-catching display face beneficial to poster art, book covers, classy menus, product packaging and music paraphernalia. The original specimen Hans van Maanen worked from showed the majuscules, minuscules, figures, and 4 alternates of some ascending minuscules. Elodie is an Art Nouveau inspired all caps font with some extra quirky characters. It was hand drawn with a brush pen. Elodie is designed for titles, short quotes, product names etc. Use lower-case letters for regular text, and then add a some special quirks to your writing by using the characters in the upper-case section. I really enjoy making brush fonts. I usually just get my Chinese ink and a bunch of brushes and start drawing glyphs. It took some time to get Studio Brush right, but I think spending that extra time paid off. Studio Brush is quite a neat brush font: the glyphs of this all caps font are of equal height (more or less) and complement each other perfectly. Studio Brush comes with double letter ligatures and some alternate glyphs.

A Donkeyman is a person who is in charge of a ship’s engine room. I didn’t know this, but when I was looking for a nice name for this font, I sort of stumbled upon it. Donkeyman font is quite a useful font: it is a handmade, all-caps font that comes with two sets of alternate glyphs. The alternates cycle as you type, creating a ‘random’ effect. Comes with extensive language support, including Sami and Vietnamese.

Birch Beer JNL comes from lettering spotted on a European business sign found in some stock footage that was used for an old black and white film about World War II. The name is derived from a popular root beer-like soda sold by the Royal Castle Restaurants that were popular in Florida from the 1930s through the 1970s.

One in the series of fonts called Whiz-Bang Wood Type, intended to be set large and tight. Ouachita Way is an ultrabold and boxy caps and small caps font, especially well-suited for commadning headlines. Based on nineteenth-century “Grecian” fonts, the name comes from a forest and a river in Arkansas. Both versions of this font contain the Unicode 1252 Latin and Unicode 1250 Central European character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

Spandau is one of the 12 boroughs of Berlin and, if you add Ballet, a New Romantic British band. It is also a very nice all caps art deco font. Not too soft, not too angular, just about right! Some upper case letters differ from their lower case kin. Comes with all the diacritics you'll need.

Helmut Matheis originally designed Slogan for the Ludwig and Mayer type foundry in Frankfurt, Germany. Slogan is an informal script of medium weight, with some variation in color. Its caps are flowing and the lowercase letters are close fitting. A lighter, more upright companion was designed by Helmut Matheis as well; its design is named Charme.

Recently I have been watching some re-runs of Dexter. In season 1, Debra has a rough morning and complains she cannot make it through the day without eating a breakfast burrito. The name stuck, a font was born and the result is Breakfast Burrito font. It is a tall, all caps typeface with a little twist.

Meatball is a fat and happy display font based on some lettering on a mid-20th century poster for the movie Bringing Up Baby. The lettering for the names of the stars, AudryHepburn, Cary Grant and Charles Ruggles, was the basis for Meatball. The sample was all caps and as it evolved, a lower case started to appear, etc.

Imagine that you had a bunch of pencils of various sizes and you wanted to make a set of letters with them. You would probably come up with something similar to one of these three typefaces. It is caps only, but some of the characters on the lower-case keys are different from those on the upper-case keys.

Jim Rimmer’s first typeface was originally published in 1970 as a basic film type alphabet through a small, independent type house in central California. Its sources of influence (now calligraphic type standards by Dair, Goudy and Zapf) are ones that remained with Jim for the rest of his career. If you squint at Totemic in just the right way, you can see some recognizable themes Jim would later flesh out and make his own in later works throughout his career as a type designer and printer. Totemic is now available for the first time as a digital font, of the refined and expanded kind now expected from Canada Type. It comes with quite a few standard advanced typography features: Small caps, caps-to-small-caps, automatic fractions and standard ligatures, stylistic alternate sets, six kinds of figures, case-sensitive forms, and extended Latin language support. This almost-all-caps display font features a variable baseline to give it an unstable look. Also, the upper and lower cases differ slightly and can be used to add some alternates in words with letters next to each other.

Empresario Stephen F. Austin (1793-1836) is considered by many the “Father of Texas” for leading the first Anglo-American colony into the then-Mexican territory back in the 1820s. A few years later, while on a diplomatic mission to Mexico City, Austin was arrested on suspicion of plotting Texas independence and imprisoned for virtually all of 1834. During this time he kept a secret diary of his thoughts and musings—much of it written in Spanish. Austin Pen is my interpretation of Austin’s scribblings in this miniature prison journal (now in the collection of the wonderful Dolph Briscoe Center for American History, in the Texas city that bears his name). The little leather-bound book is filled with notes in ink and pencil—some of the faded penciled pages traced in ink years later by Austin’s nephew Moses Bryan. A genuine replication of 19th century cursive, Austin Pen has two styles: a fine regular weight, along with a bold style that replicates passages written with an over-inked pen. Each is legible and evocative of commonplace American penmanship of two centuries ago.

Gatara is serif font family with elements of Didone available in 6 weights and matching Italics. Edits and Credits JNL is a cheerful sans serif typeface modeled from ceramic letters in a movie titling set from the late 40s or early 1950s. In the original kit, letters would be lined up accordingly against a contrasting background and photographed for home or professional movie and slide titles. Note: The cap height is slightly smaller than normal for the respective point size. This will give the effect of wider line spacing - similar to that of home movie titles.
