Glamour was originally released by Lanston Monotype in 1948. It is based on Corvinus designed by Imre Reiner. P22 Designer Colin Kahn has added some unusual variants to this family illustrating that Glamour can be taken too far and have somewhat unglamorous results.

Fattty is a chunky fun font with plenty of wobbly bits. It's perfect for bold brands and funky projects. It's friendly curves are a great fit in kids books or on chubby posters. But remember, say it loud I'm fat and I'm proud!

Kunze font was inspired by the work of German graphic artist Carl Kunze (Minden, 1884). Kunze is a fat display font; a little rough around the edges, a little wonky in places, but very distinguishable and useful. Comes with extensive language support.

Samman is a Kufic simple Arabic typeface. It can be used to decorate public signs in streets, airports, hospitals, schools, malls, hotels, mosques, and other public places. My family's surname is "Samman" which stands for the person who sells fat especially the one produced by cows ("Samn" in Arabic). Consequently, "Samman" Typeface was designed for eternizing the memory of my family. The main characteristic of "Samman" Typeface is the leaf-shaped style for some of its Arabic characters such as "Dad", "Sad", "Faa", "Meem" and others. The distinguishing artistic design of its "Haa" character adds a unique feature to this typeface especially when connected with other characters. The shape of the characters' "dot", "dots", and "point" is innovative; a triangle with a semi-circle shape. "Samman" Typeface is suitable for books' covers, advertisement light boards, and titles in magazines and newspapers. Its characters' modern Kufic styles give the typeface more distinction when it is used also in posters, greeting cards, covers, exhibitions' signboards and external or internal walls of malls or metro's exits and entrances. It can also be used in titles for Arabic news and advertisements appeared in different Arabic and foreign satellite channels.

We love sports – like billions of fans all over the world – but in Argentina, we really love fútbol (soccer). Fútbol is part of our culture: it makes our hearts’ race and our pulses quicken, it inspires screams of joy and screams of anguish, and it has been the cause of more than a few heated conversations amongst friends. So you can imagine our delight when, in recent years, a local team’s fútbol jersey used a Sudtipos font; it got us thinking about designing a font that explicitly had sports in mind yet still had the versatility to work for other types of projects. Big City Vibes is a display font designed for posters and texture or pattern like designs. The font is based on "Quixotic Sans Bold" and features its sliced and adjusted uppercase lettershapes. This font covers Eastern, Central and Western European accented characters and symbols, as well as Rovas Script (Old Hungarian). In place of the lowercase letters there are the uppercase letters shifted a little differently and set under "Contextual Alternate" OpenType feature, when you enable this feature and type all caps, it will alternating between the lowercase and uppercase for a mixed variety of the 2 versions of each letters that are cycling randomly.

Bigfoot is the fattest font ever made. It began as a simple exercise given to students in a design course: Most people don't appreciate type because they don't really know what it actually is. One way to understand it is looking at it like a combination of sculptures that have to work together to achieve a certain harmony, where each letter form is one of those sculptures. Most people understand and appreciate that a sculpture starts from a rock of an incomprehensible form, which is manipulated by someone into becoming the recognizable or abstract work of art it eventually is. Consider type design a kind of two-dimensional sculpting. You have a rectangle. Take away as a little as possible from it until it is recognizable as the letter A. Repeat to get the letter B, and so on. After all 26 minimal letters are made, do they actually function as an alphabet to build words and sentences that are recognizable to the human eye? This exercise can trigger thoughts and theories about the overall subjective nature of identifying abstract yet somewhat familiar shapes. It can go into the psyche of art in general. But one thing for certain, this exercise has so far helped a few people find a new appreciation for finely crafted typefaces. If you are a design educator, your students' typographical perspective and arguments would benefit from it. And if you are a designer, well, fat faces are all the rage these days, and this is as fat as it can get. Please note that that this typeface, due to its minimalistic nature, does not include accented characters. It does however support the full C0 Controls and Basic Latin Unicode set. All proceeds from this font go to support the Type Club of Toronto.

Tubby came about when I made a book with Cooper Black as a headline font. I started playing with heavy forms, and as a result was Tubby. It has a fat and friendly feel, and with swash italics it is fairly versatile in use.

Based on turn-of-the-century advertising type. A condensed, fat-faced display font with a touch of the medieval. The influence of art nouveau is also present in the high-waisted caps and flowing lines, putting the face into the early 20th century.

Handlettering in an ad from the 1920s for a Chicago engraving company provided the inspiration for this fine, fat, flowing face, full of fun and antique charm. Both versions of this font include the complete Unicode 1252 Latin and Unicode 1250 Central European character sets.

Modérnica is a sans serif type including roman & oblique styles in 9 weights. Originally published in 2014, then in 2020 we released version 2.0, in which we expanded the language coverage and character set, adding a new Fat weight, tabular figures, smart fractions & arrows. We’ve improved the OpenType features adding new Stylistic Sets. Besides this, we have retuned the letters spacing in the whole family. Daiquiri is a revival of a handlettered font in two weights, from an ad for Puerto Rico Rum dating back to the forties or fifties. I found the ad on a French antique market on my last visit for Mardi Gras in Nice. The ad read "Breeze through the heat, be a Daiquiri fan". That's why they had this "fan" in the illustration! Did they want you to rotate like a fan when you had enough Daiquiris? Or did they just do it for that little "Jeu des mots"? Anyway I found the handlettering very pretty, so I took those few letters and made a whole font out of them. I think Daiquiri has that touch that brings those happy and uncomplicated times back when advertising was still fun. I started something like 20 years later in advertising and things had gotten more stringent. We already had to satisfy those marketing guys with their scholarly attitude. They have taken all the fun out of the job, for the creators as well as for the consumers. I would like to see more uncomplicated ads like this again, yours Gert Wiescher

This font provides a variety of symbols for decorating maps simulating those of the sixteenth to nineteenth centuries. For fans of piracy, there is a range of skull and crossbones imagery. The font also includes cartouches, scrolls and symbols for mountains, hills and castles of various sizes.

Designed by Jakob Erbar and released in 1930, Koloss is a headline face that works well for posters. Characters have been drawn with a broad nib leaving small counters. This gives the effect of a compressed face, although the width of the strokes imply a fat face.

Bold and simple, but shaky, Count Floyd was named for the horror host spoof from SCTV. It has the look of a spooky grunge font, but is far easier to read, even at relatively small sizes. Please note that this font has a limited character set.

Bitmax is the work of British designer Alan Birch, who was inspired by the look of fax transmissions. He took Helvetica medium and used controlled distortions to create this commanding, high-tech style. Bitmax is best used in large display sizes for a limited number of words.

I am a huge Moleskine notebook fan - This font is named Diario to celebrate everyone that uses a journal and everyone that appreciates a cool handwriting style. Diario reflects this tactile paper- ink plus designer convergence. In the meantime, be inspired and write your own journal!

Troquel is a fat font, with feminine curves. Soft edges give this slightly overweight typeface a big and beautiful happy style. Combining fatty with his sister outline version helps to provide a nice contrast between each weights glyphs. Troquel has uppercase characters, numbers, and the basic punctuation.

Here's yet another variation of the classic Futura Black Art Deco stencil form of display lettering. The inspiration for this typeface came from various images of the Blossom Dairy Co. restaurant, originally opened as an ice cream and sandwich shop located on Quarrier Street in Charleston, West Virginia. The restaurant first opened in 1938 as an outgrowth of the Blossom Dairy Co. itself, and existed under various ownerships until it permanently closed on Nov. 11, 2016. Digitally redrawn as Local Eatery JNL, it is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Callista (from the Greek for "most beautiful") is a fat cursive typeface, inspired by the works of Francois Boltana in the early 1970s and those of Milka Peykova in late 1970s. With its Full Latin and Cyrillic support, Callista is a perfect choice for short headlines and logotype design.

Shrag script is a brand new script from Open Window. It is finer than the model that won 35,00 friends. Originating from a fat marker drawing it's a comfortable font, fine performing in every minor detail. It is the embodiment of everything a fine handwritten script should be.

Naiche Font Family is a serif font with multi-weights experimental; it comes to 17 weights with five fonts master, from hairlines (Extra Thin) to Fat (Full). Each weight has a different style and contrast. The font was inspired by the classic 'Cooper' style, with an old-style form.

Plakkaat is a fat brushed font, made with wide brushes and paint. Since it is a very easy to read font (and not to be missed), it is ideal for advertising campaigns, or demonstration signs. This 2019 version comes with improved kerning, some new and some adjusted glyphs.

Debelly is catchy fat typeface, with lovely geometric shapes. Inspired with contrast strokes, with square joins, Debelly gives an impression of retro style combined with contemporary trends. It is designed specially for packaging, posters, logotypes or headlines, even it can be pretty handfull in smaller sizes. Contains 375 glyphs.

I was doodling away with a sharpie pen on a rainy day. Hey… wait a minute. A rainy day, a font called Rainclouds… Yep, that’s right, it is called Rainclouds for that reason! ;-) Rainclouds is a fat marker font with a lot of texture and a lot of mouth.

Carrosserie is made for display use, inspired by the shapes of the ’30s. It is a capital letter font with alternate characters and special domain symbols (check the PDF in the gallery for details). The font is now available in thin, extra light, light, regular, medium, bold & fat. Enjoy!

This font is a strange mixture of sweet strawberry cake and horrifying terror! :) Meaning that the font can be used for something pretty scary (such as a horror poster) or something quite innocent (like products for children) It resembles fat brushstrokes, but clearly it was drawn with a pen.

Obsession has taken me completely in its spell. I could go on forever creating new forms for this script. But I have other fonts to do, so this is as far as my obsession goes for the moment. There are six different cuts and all letters can be mixed.

Andrade is a new typeface designed by Dino dos Santos in 2005. This typeface was inspired in the typographic work of Manoel de Andrade de Figueiredo (b.1670-d.1735), Nova Escola para Aprender a Ler, Escrever e Contar, printed in 1722 at Offcina de Bernardo da Costa de Carvalho. This is one of the most important books, and almost forgotten, about Portuguese calligraphy and typography, and the work of Andrade de Figueiredo is among the most amazing examples of type design of the Eighteenth Century. His work inspired Ventura da Silva, a Portuguese typographer, who in 1803 published a book named Regras Methodicas, where he redesigns some of Figueiredo's type specimens. But Ventura's purpose was to create a more elegant and readable typeface than Didot and Bodoni. This kind of typeface used to be called leitura and is a transition between the baroque and modern typography. Andrade is a brilliant text typeface and is available in Regular, Italic, Bold, Bold Italic, Ligatures, Ligatures Italic, Swashes and Ornaments. Andrade is my tribute to Portuguese typography and to the work of Manoel de Andrade de Figueiredo in particular.
