Oksana Std has only the Western Latin characters from multilingual Oksana. It has six weights with real italics, and Alt faces with Old Style figures, alternative characters -a-g-k-y- and ampersand. German großes Eszett is also included.

Bex Script is a riff on traditional French script forms: the Bâtarde, the Ronde, and the Coulée. NOTE: A few years ago in Paris, I was lucky enough to stop at the Librairie Paul Jammes in St Germain-des-Prés, where I bought a turn-of-the-19th-century signature from a Type Specimen of the printer Joseph Gaspard Gillé. The irregularity of his script types — particularly the ones at smaller sizes, like the Cicéro — was very intriguing. They seemed to blend the Ronde with some elements of the Bâtarde and Coulée. And they, along with the work of French master penman Louis Rossignol, gave Bex Script its initial form.

A heavy block sans in chrome and solid variants. The high lower-case x-height and short ascenders and descenders permit tight line spacing for an impactful, punchy effect. The chrome variant works well at larger sizes and in shorter settings.

This circa 1910 European face was introduced into the United States by a German type foundry traveling salesman during the great depression of the 1930s. We have used it quite successfuly in sizes as small as 10 and 12 point.

The Bitstream version of Melior, a twentieth century modern face commissioned by Stempel and designed by Hermann Zapf in 1952. It is based on Zapf’s thoughts about the squared-off circle known as a super-ellipse. The type was originally intended as a newspaper text face by Linotype. Hermann Zapf’s Melior exhibits a robust character through classic and objective forms. Versatile and extremely legible, it can be used for a variety of texts and point sizes. Cyrillic version was developed by Natalya Vasilyeva and licensed by ParaType in 2002.

Destructive Decisions is a font based upon the inherent flaws of human nature—presented under the guise of complete legibility. At first impression this font is very readable, but upon closer examination you'll notice the edges are fuzzy and some of the lines are off-kilter. You can read it, but it is also a bit foggy. Linotext was designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1901 and first appeared with the name Wedding Text with American Type Founders in Jersey City, where its metal forms were cut by hand. The font was so popular that its forms soon began appearing with other font foundries under different names, Elite Kanzlei with D. Stempel AG, Comtesse with C.F. Rühl, etc. Its ornamental forms are not considered very legible by today’s standards and Linotext should therefore be used for headlines and short texts in point sizes 12 or larger.

Thima is a display font inspired by the liberty style revisited to the present day, hence it is free from the canonical compositional standards that make up the majority of fonts. My kids have a tin box filled with crayon and pencil leftovers: bits and pieces that have fallen or broken off, but are still good enough to use. I like playing around with brushes and Chinese ink. I always have some kind of idea of what the final design should look like, but once it’s done, it never ever looks like what I had in mind. Romford Stencil is a Brexit inspired typeface. It’s letterforms represent the idea of a union splitting apart and the stylistic differences between the upper and lower case symbolise the notion of being different from one another. Research for this typeface started off in Romford which is an area where the majority of UK voters wanted to leave the European Union, hence the name. Romford Stencil is designed to be readable for body copy and look impressive when used as a display typeface. However, the bigger it's size the better it looks, especially in all capitals.

The BrightIdeas family contains two novelty fonts that have letters on light bulbs. The fonts have some characters on standing bulbs and some on hanging bulbs and these two sets are made to alternate with the OpenType contextual alternatives (calt) feature. To use only one set of bulbs, this feature must be turned off and character spacing adjusted. The family contains a style with clear bulbs and one with filled bulbs. When you think of Zealand, you’ll probably think of NEW Zealand. But did you know that New Zealand was named after the Dutch province of Zeeland (meaning Sea-land)? And did you know that there are many sealands in the world? Denmark has Sjælland and there is even a micronation called Sealand off the coast of England. Zealand font is a handmade, all caps display font. I used a Japanese brush pen for the outlines and the fill. It has a nice textured look, making it ideal for book covers and product packaging.

My family and I are off to England for a camping holiday this summer. I have booked some small, basic campsites which are close to nature. The kids love to camp, especially since we can have a campfire at night! I was thinking about this when I worked on Camping Holiday font. It is a cute sans serif ‘book cover’ font. With an extensive character set, and offbeat letter weighting, Cat Burglar is fun to typeset with, with a collection of double letter ligatures, as well as discretionary ligature combinations that add to the quirky playfulness.

To tell you the truth, I don’t know what a juicy advice is - other than I guess it’s something positive and maybe even helpful. Well, what I do know is that this Juicy Advice is positive, helpful and playful. It’s a handmade comic font, with an outline version to compliment the Regular version. The outline version is also handmade, but not entirely sticking to the boundaries of the shapes of the Regular version. This leaves the outline somewhat off, but deliberately in order to keep the authentic feeling.

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the new Ashtronaut font is on fire and blasting off into outer space. This futuristic new font combines basic geometric forms like circles and dashes to form uppercase shapes that are softer and more traditional and lowercase letters with sharp and abstract characteristics.
